“If you love pho, this is the place to eat! Many flavors, i went with the P13. Pho with Rare Steak & Well-Done Brisket and the steak was soo good, then the brisket just added another level of flavor. Definitely will be back.

​From the moment I stepped into Akai Asian, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm, inviting ambiance and the sight of happy, cordial diners immediately set a fantastic mood. I felt genuinely welcomed by the staff, who guided me through their extensive menu—and wow, was I blown away by the selection!
​For my first visit, I ordered the Chicken Bento Box, and it was easily a 5-star dish. It was a well-balanced masterpiece!
​The box featured a delightful salad with corn, which was perfectly topped with a nice sesame seed oil dressing—it was incredibly savory and very tasty. It also included four delicious California rolls. Alongside these were some fried veggies and fried shrimp. They were very pleasant; not overwhelmingly greasy or heavy, but perfectly fried right to the bite. Lastly, the star was the delicious chicken served on top of fresh veggies and rice. Everything was perfectly prepared, showcasing the high quality and fresh flavors of Asian cuisine.

“The food was amazing. The young gentleman that took Our order Fi was very polite. He gave a lot inside because it was our first time. The only minor thing I would change is for the weekend maybe adding another person to help because they do get busy and that might ease the fluctuation of service Because from what I was able to see, they get really busy other than that. Poke was great! Loved all the topping and mix in options and the fish tasted fresh. Very good. The avocado I got was weirdly hard and really not edible… couldn’t even chew it, but I’m guessing it was just a fluke avocado situation. (You know how avocados can be. 🤷🏻‍♀️) Sauces were thick and flavorful. Best poke spot I’ve found in the area. 😋

Bonus points for a nice outdoor seating (with umbrellas!) and also a great location close enough to grab it to-go and head out for a beach picnic.“

“We love Yanagi. Fabulous and fresh sushi, great service and there always seems to be a table for us. My tiny humans, age 10 and 7, love their sushi. At Yanagi, they are always well taken care of.“

I was sad to hear they closed the Long Beach location. I enjoy the food here and it is a fairly healthy place for a fast casual food experience.“

“The food is good but it is not worth the price. I got the pho combination which was 16 dollars. I would not mind the price but they are stingy with the meat. I would not bother coming back when there are so many other options that are worth the price of admission.“

The food quality is really great. Tastes fresh and crunchy and its really good. I got the vegetable roll and it was good. Only reason for 4 stars is price. For what it is and where it is and how much was in the roll, especially it being only vegetables, it was quite expensive. I mean not too much but for the price a larger quality would be better.“

“Just tried out this new restaurant. Wasn’t sure abut it since they had no reviews but was pleasantly surprised how tasty and flavorful it was. We got the Wagyu and Pork Bowls and it was so filling. Comes with sauce that added flavors too. They have a good sale going on Door Dash, buy one get one free. Not sure how long it’ll last for. Definitely give this place a try! :D“

“The older Asian man who took our order was not friendly at all. (The first thought that entered my mind was that he was a racist) Upon entering the restaurant my friend and I greeted him twice he never did open his mouth and speak. It was our first time there so I had questions about what I wanted to order. He was very pushy and impolite rushing us even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. We should have turned around and walked out but we were tired so we ignored his rudeness. The rice was good but I wondered how it could be cooked to order when we got it right away.“
