“I loved my dining experience there! The decor is warm and special; the service, impeccable, and the food is beautifully presented and delicious. I recommend the lobster spring rolls, the calamari and shrimp salad, and the duck fried rice. If you really like lemongrass, then try the seared scallops!“

“Rasarumah is a great find and well deserving of its Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. I came here with a friend and we ordered a few dishes to share, and everything we had was excellent.

The char kway teow stood out right away. The stir-fried noodles had great flavor and texture, with Chinese sausage and fried fish cake adding a nice balance of savory and slightly sweet notes.

We also ordered the fried Hainan chicken with garlic rice. The chicken was crispy on the outside while still juicy, and the garlic rice was fragrant and really satisfying.

For dessert we finished with the cendol sundae with coconut pandan ice cream. It was refreshing and a great way to end the meal, with the pandan and coconut flavors coming through nicely.

Overall, a really enjoyable meal and a spot I would happily come back to.“

“A really wonderful dining experience! The food is so creative while maintaining integrity to both Thai and Japanese cuisines. It was really fun to be all seated at the bar for the Autumn kaiseki menu. The sommelier was so fun and friendly and recommended not only incredible wines, but bonus sake tastings well. it's the kind of place that does a fixed menu, but you wanna keep going back because it rotates and everyone's so friendly a perfect blend of upscale and Neighbourhood vibe..“

When I asked for two pairs of chopsticks at the counter, the staff member appeared to ignore me completely. “FABULOUS SERVICE ! We rate great service above everything else and if we don't get it.....we don't come back ! My wife and I were heading to Santa Monica ( 152 miles from Solana Beach ) for a weekend getaway on Friday and needed a planned lunch stop on the way. Last year when I renewed my Australian passport at the Australian Consulate-General in L.A my wife jumped online and found a Lokal Sandwich Shop on National Blvd close by for our lunch break. The sandwiches, drinks and service were excellent at that location and we expected the same here. Considering we were heading towards L.A on a busy Friday we made great time. We parked in the private carpark and walked in about 12.30pm. It was bright and cheery inside just like the other location we visited. A sweet young lady named Emily greeted us straight off. First up we both had to hit the restrooms ( nice & clean ) after our non-stop drive from Solana Beach. NO PROB ! And then we sat at a table ready to select our lunch order. At the service counter we ordered 1 x ICED LATTE, 1 x THAI ICED TEA, 1 X BBQ PORK BANH MI ( cucumber, jalapeño, mayo, housed pickled daikon & carrots, cilantro on a baguette ) and 1 X THE CUBANO ( Ham, shredded pork, pickled cucumber, swiss cheese, mayo, dijon mustard on toasted rustic sourdough ). BONUS BONUS BONUS...when I checked in on YELP I got an offer for 20% off our first visit. I TOOK IT ! So far so good...very friendly service from Emily the cashier and WE LIKED THE VIBE....an intangible thing that you feel. Our iced drinks were ready in next to no time and tasted very refreshing. I haven't savored a BBQ Pork Banh Mi since last year ( at a Lokal Sandwich Shop ) and this one did not disappoint...hitting all the right fresh and healthy notes. My wife went nuts over The Cubano...quite a large fully loaded sandwich. It wasn't real busy at that time of day so we took our time enjoying our delicious lunch. I noticed that they had craft beer on tap...I didn't see that at the location we visited last year. I asked Vanessa behind the counter....why is this location called Lokal Sandwich + Burger Bar instead off Lokal sandwich Shop ? And Vanessa replied...because this location sells beer. OK ! We really enjoyed everything we ordered here and had a relaxing break from driving. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !“

“Fresh, healthy food w generous portions. I had the hana salad w chicken and the iced matcha cloud latte. The salad was fresh and their sauce/condiment bar made it extra tasty. The matcha was super yummy, on par or better with any specialty coffee/tea place. The Okinawa sugar made it elevated, though I ordered it less sweet. Will def be back!“

“RUN DONT WALK to this restaurant the food was truly phenomenal, ordered the sushi omikase for 80$ a person the variation of different fish and the quality of the cuts was amazing. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Parking is a bit limited but it’s definitely worth the trip.“

I get my most frequent take out dinners here. My favorite is Galbi-Tang, its very similar to caldo de rez, but with different veggies. “I’ve been coming here for years because I literally live a block away. The place has increased in price since I first came here and the menu has changed and what I used to get is no longer on the menu. LION KING ROLL is my goto. It’s delicious. However….. Today as I approached the counter to get my food, a homeless girl walks in barges right next to me as my order is being processed and given to me, and asks “y’all got any miso soup?!?” Stinky and obviously covered in filth, no bath for probably years and a dirty soiled blanket wrapped around her, I was instantaneously disgusted. Miso soup was given to her and I don’t know what else because I got outta there before she could even ask me for money or whatever! You feed a pigeon and what happens??? A dozen or more come. This is a simile; a point I’m trying to make. Homeless are the root of the problems here in Koreatown. You feeding them is the hand the feeds the problem.“

Stopped by Chibiscus for lunch, and it totally blew me away. I ordered the ramen, and it was a solid 10/10.
The broth was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect depth to it. Exactly what you look for in a great ramen.
The toppings were incredibly fresh. The egg was cooked to perfection with that nice, jammy yolk, the bean sprouts added a great crunch, and the meat was super tender.
The portion size is great—definitely leaves you full and satisfied.
The place is clean, the service is fast, and the vibe is very welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic, comforting ramen, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!“

“We've been coming here for 20 years and I think this is the best Thai food in Los Angeles. They use high quality meat and seafood and the taste is very authentic. Their chicken basil and spicy shrimp are a couple of our favorites. The staff here are so sweet. Family owned and operated. Thai food absolutely does not get better than this!!!“

The only thing that is frustrating, is that their closing time is not accurate with what they have it listed on google, I’ve had doordash orders go through that never came in, and i showed up to the location to be denied.. 30 minutes before listed closing time.“

“Good food, I got the #1 and the portions were very filling. They offer samples of the teriyaki chicken which got me to order the dish. Although the actual dish wasn't as sauced, the meat was still tender and tasty. Only downside was that some bites of rice were uncooked.“

“Love this place! Me and my boyfriend come here frequently and get the lamb kebabs, spicy noodle soup, stuffed mushrooms and fish cakes. The food tastes almost like a Korean/Mediterranean fusion. Their menu is huge and every time I try something new it tastes amazing. Their side dishes are often changing which keeps it interesting. The atmosphere is fun with lots of lights and tv’s often playing K-pop. We come late at night to see our favorite server who often gives us free gifts and is very welcoming. You won’t regret trying it out!“

“My new favorite Thai food spot! I always order yellow curry so that’s what my review is based on. I am vegetarian so chose it with tofu. I had additional requests and they came through. I asked to make it mild and leave onions out and add vegetables too. Got everything I asked for about $15 out the door ! Sauce was thick and tasty, rice included. Atmosphere wasn’t the best but I had my food to go anyway. Waited about 15 minutes. Worth every minute and penny. We found parking in the back.“

“Was recommended to me by two people so decided to try it. It was busy for a mid-week evening. I quickly sat at the bar since most seating was full. I ordered a Spicy Tuna Handroll, Rainbow Roll, and the Spanish Mackerel. The price was definitely more than I usually pay but it was definitely fresh quality. The staff was nice and attentive. Would definitely stop by again and try some other items that caught my eye. Parking was not hard to find.“

But their system is kinda chaotic the labels for the food dont match the food it is on. Or sometimes the food doesn’t have label/name on it so you would have to guess or point the food out to the server which is inconvenient if there is a long line. Please put names on the individual food.“
