“Loved it here! I was in town for the week and it reminded me how much I enjoy St. Helena especially for the dining and culinary scene. I'd heard a lot of great buzz about this spot and decided to swing by for the happy hour special. I had a couple of martinis (both fantastic), the croquettes (so good), and some fresh oysters. Everything was on point.
The atmosphere is lively and welcoming with couples, date nights, and groups of friends hanging out. I'm definitely coming back for dinner soon to try more of the menu. Highly recommend. Thank you!“

“Ate there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back. We're vegetarian but had no trouble finding incredible offerings. The mushroom/leek risotto was the best I've had. The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!“

“You will want at least one bite of everything on the menu! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and attentive! We made a meal of just the starters this time but have had main course that are outstanding. A little off the main road and multiple atmospheres- we like the main library dining room- so warm, inviting and charming. Outside seating is also extremely pleasant. You can’t go wrong here.“

“Everytime we go, I get the chicken fried steak and my hubby gets the special or something else on the menu he hasn't tried and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their food!!! My hubby said Two Niner Diner was one of five places that he likes!!!“
“Truly exceptional. Food was inspired and delicious. Creative without being pretentious, and perfectly portioned. Service was great, without being cloying or obsequious. Love their connection to the farm, and their access to a plethora of fresh ingredients showed.
Wine pairing was also very well done, and I was happy that every course was thoughtfully paired with a unique wine. And learned about a new wine Stone Edge, which was also fabulous. Have had a hard time finding it for purchase through, likely a testament to it’s quality.
Would definitely recommend and they certainly earned their recent 2nd Michelin star.“

“Very good food and service at reasonable prices. They sell Kivelstadt and other wines to take home at reasonable prices. They are kid friendly. It is better to reserve in advance because the parking was full when we went. When we left at 2 p.m. on a Friday, a guitar player started to play.“

“Just picked up dinner. Today, 4/22/25, pork picadillo stuffed poblano chili's, street corn salad with cotija tomatoes, romaine & creamy cilantro dressing.
OUTSTANDING! Delicious poblano chili flavor, quite mild.
I'll keep an eye out for when it comes around again!“

“Great lunch with a friend who is new to North Bay. She was delighted with Wild Goat and especially the ginger carrot soup. She loved her salad as well. And while she is vegan and I am omnivore we both had wonderful dishes. Mine was the BLAST sandwich--BLT with both avocado and smoked salmon. Yum. We did not have wine, but they also have a great wine list.“

“The food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing! We loved every single bite. I believe this may have been some of the best French cooking I've ever had. The service was outstanding. This is truly a gem. But I advise skipping the bar in the lobby. The service there was terrible, the bartender was rude and the drinks weren't very good. Walk past the bar and enjoy the restaurant!“

“Took the tour with Tyler and it was fantastic! Gave us an extra sample of the Pilsner to try and the Loft bar alone is worth the tour price. Stopped by the taproom afterwards and ordered the nachos, burger and fries and of course more taproom exclusive Lagunitas brews. 10/10 would recommend“

“We came in on a weekday for lunch and the food was delicious. The menu had many options for everyone, including vegan and kids choices. The beer selection was amazing! I was surprised to see some of my favorite breweries that are hard to find on their tap list. Our server was Laillah and she was great! Very attentive and spectacular service. We will definitely return“

“Sonoma Grille is the perfect place for a birthday lunch or meal anytime!! The food was delicious and the service over the top. The bartender Steve, was our server and he balanced the bar and our lunch service perfectly. They have a lovely patio but we chose to sit inside due to the wind that day. It can sometimes get noisy but we had the perfect celebration.“
