“I never make reviews, but I love this place so much that I want to make sure it gets the traffic it deserves. The pastries are amazing (and I have tried many places - I am French in LA struggling to find it). Lattes are on par. A must go when in Montrose.
Pastries and drinks are on the expensive side, compared to a chain like Peets and so on, but matches the quality, and I have seen more expensive for less quality.“

Thought they don't have metal forks or knives so it's really hard to eat some items. I ended up using a metal spoon to eat my eggs Benedict lol.

“Choose this based off reviews in the area and it did not disappoint. Was a quaint little vibe and even though I didn't stay long enough to eat, everything looked tasty and delicious. I love that they served my latte in a cup for here, it really adds more of a familiar ambience. My one complaint however no wifi, usually this is not a huge deal, however they had the space for me to easily work on a computer so a little bit of bummer, since most shops with the space will have some type of wifi network. Innerstandable and definetly not a deterrent in the larger framework. The latte I ordered was well made, and for almond mylk had quite a bit of foam which isn't always easy depending on the brand. This was a nice stop in a very long road trip; and will save to my maps places, to return next time in the area.

Parking: Curb your tires if you park in this area on the street, they are serious about tickets if you fail to do so.“

“Immediately after I walked in I was greeted in a real way and asked what I was feeling like. They made me the special they have currently which was delicious. I also bought their Everything Bagel Croissant which was also delicious and unique. Geeky vibe with cozy energy. Excited to return.“

“I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much. I sat outside at those little Parisian style tables and drank the best Aperol Spritz while I waited for my escargot and beef carpaccio. Best meal I’ve ever had.

You can feel the pride and care in every dish. It’s all so carefully and beautifully curated with the freshest ingredients. And the staff was so friendly, the vibe was just perfect.

The only down side is that I wanted to try absolutely everything on the menu. But, it’s a great reason to keep going back :)“

“Had their cappuccino and it was honestly one of the best cappuccino’s I’ve ever had. Love the sparkling water they had (Jermuk) was in a glass bottle. The lady was nice enough to bring me glass bottles with lemon and it really hit the spot. It’s these little things that would bring me back not to mention recommend the place to friends and family. Didn’t have any of their pastries this time but they all looked so good. Will definitely go back. They have an amazing variety of coffee to choose from too by the way.“

“We found this cute cafe on Google and it was just what we wanted. A perfect place for a low-key cup of coffee and delicious pastry on a Saturday morning with a friend ( my daughter:-). Just FYI, there are only a couple of tables inside, and the parking lot is small and shared, but there is street parking. Arbi the owner was really nice and our almond croissants and lattes hit the spot. I work in Glendale and will definitely stop in again.“

“I had one of my best persian food experiences here in LA. Can’t recommend it enough. If you are looking to have pure persian food taste, Chef Z should be top on your list.
We had Kashke-Bademjan which is a eggplant-based appetizer, so delicious. We had two type of Kebabs (Koobideh and and Chenjeh) and both was amazing amazing. The Kebabs melted down when you bite them.“

“In a hurry, have a few minutes to grab a sandwich and soup then try this little spot. Snuggled in the corner of the business entrance , look for Toni and you will be treated well. They do great soup, if you enjoy it. Everyday is a different one. Wednesday is my favorite curry chicken. Often I am in the middle of conference calls and have 10-15 min to grab something, this is where I go. They have bagels, muffins, you know quick stuff but you can get a BLT. The Half- vegetarian sandwich and soup is my quick go-to lunch! Nothing fancy but sometimes you really just want a sandwich.“

“Whenever my work brings me to California and the LA area, I try to make it to the Glendale Cafe for their wonderful authentic classic Persian style sandwiches. For those of use who grew up in Iran in the 70's this is also a nostalgic experience. Very nice place!“

I did see some low ratings due to service in the past, but we have been multiple times, and the service has been great each time! Plenty of parking in the lot. This is our go to boba spot!“

“So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

“I grew up in Glendale so I known Mitzee’s for at least 15-20 years!! Your Chef AKA ( your cook ) has been there if not mistaken the same amount of time. Food taste and presentation has been the same since the first time I had it, their hot sauce it’s AMAZING! if you love spicy, if you don’t have high tolerance for spicy stay away or have just a little lol. I know leave in Downtown and when passing by Glendale I make it a stop…“

“Appreciate every single associate working at this store. The ambiance of the store is so warm and cozy not only due to the aroma of the coffee but also due to its amazing staff. Greg has always been an absolute sweetheart and a true gentleman. He listens to what I would like to purchase and he always goes above and beyond in his service. I’m always out of the store with a big grin on my face. I don’t drink coffee with additives and I’m particular with coffee choices and he always suggests the best.
