“I went to Mamitas Experian Peruvian Food on Glendale Blvd and really liked the environment. It’s a cool spot, nice for a date night. There were a couple of people there after work just hanging out, and it has a nice little open area. I noticed they have a beautiful back patio too, but I didn’t get a chance to go back there.
The food was good and flavorful, just a little different from what I’m used to, but in a great way. I ordered the lomo saltado, and I liked that it came in a red sauce – the waiter explained that’s how they prepare it here, and I really enjoyed it. The bread they served was good, and the sauce that came with it was different from what I expected, but I liked it too.
Overall, it was a new experience for me, and I loved it. Great customer service, delicious food, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend stopping by!“

“Nice place - tasty veggie noodle based saltada. Generous portion, nice flavor.
Husband had their beef stew - cultural difference? As he would have preferred not to have the meat still on the bone in his stew and couldn’t figure out why it had a side of rice when it was basically a piece of beef with a bone on a bed of mashed potatoes covered in more of a gravy than we traditionally think of stew.
We tried some sides that were fairly disappointing and I would definitely forego these if I were you.
Corn nuts were very sparse and just the large corn kernels that I had in my saltada not seasoned or cooked special. Fries seemed like what a home cook can get at the grocery store, but not cooked demonstrably better than popping them into your oven.
Staff were lovely - attentive, kind and happy to help.
They give you bread sticks at the start of the meal - those aren’t very inspiring, either. Hard on the ends.
Our friends seemed to enjoy their meals. I’m afraid I didn’t get pics or descriptions from them.“

“Please please do yourself a favor and eat here! We had the ceviche Classico & lomo saltado - I’m not even joking that my boyfriend and I had to hug after the meal because it was SO delicious and enjoyable. The flavors were bright and unique. You can tell that these recipes were thoughtful created! Can’t wait to try more on the menu ❤️“

“The food is Peruvian in name only. This restaurant in Lima would fail miserably. The food is bad and does not have any Peruvian flavors, and the portions are absurd. As they say where I'm from, "están jugando a la cocinita." Not worth it.“

“With every new Peruvian restaurant that I go to, I just have to try their Lomo Saltado since that's my barometer for Peruvian cuisines, and Bodegon No 69 very much delivers!
The Lomo Saltado is a classic, must-try staple in Peruvian cuisine. Cooked in a wok with soy sauce (there is a lot of Chinese influence in Peruvian cuisine due to the historical Silver trade between China and Spain within Peru), the best kinds of Lomo Saltado is bursting with flavor. The Beef here is thick and hearty, and the sauce is so delicious. The fries are also nice and crisp, too. There's a reason it's one of my favorite dishes and Bodegon serves it well!
To be fair, Bodegon is a bit pricier than majority of Peruvian restaurants that I've gone to, but it also offers a few items I have not seen elsewhere. Most notably, the Anticuchos or beef heart skewers. Heart is one of those meat choices that can be polarizing because of its tougher chewy texture (it is a muscle after all), but this Anticuchos grilled meat is just tender enough and the flavor is so good, especially with their Rocoto Sauce and Patata Brava (Peruvian-style fries potatoes). Only the corn feels forgettable. It's an adventurous dish that is rewarding to your taste buds!
On the other hand, the Tiradito a La Crema Ceviches is a bit underwhelming. It's thin-sliced Hamachi and the mild Aji Amarillo sauce is just a bit polite and mild-mannered. Maybe the other Ceviches are better here.
Lastly, you can't really have Peruvian cuisine without the proper Peruvian drinks, and I highly suggest the Inka Cola and if you fancy an alcoholic drink, the delicious Pisco Sour, which is the national cocktail consisting of pisco (grape brandy), lime juice, syrup, and egg white, with bitter sprinkled up top. It may be similar to a margarita, but it is just so much tastier!
All in all, Bodegon No 69 has some delicious, albeit pricier, but delicious Peruvian cuisine. Just skip the Traditional Ceviches. The staff is wonderful and so friendly and the interior is very cozy and warm.“

“Came to LA for the Copa America. We stopped by this place on our way to LAX and everything was excellent: food was delicious, host took care of us, there was salsa playing in the background. Strongly recommend this restaurant for good Peruvian food.“

“Ceviche de Pescado was almost perfect. Plate wise it reminded me of what I had in Peru. Had all the right additional ingredients and marinade. Only thing holding the dish back was the fish being used (swai, very fishy taste) and prep (pieces were too big). One suggestion i would do, reduce the portion size but get a better quality fish.“

“First of all this restaurant deserves its flowers and praises. Their rotisserie chicken is so good and tasty didn’t leave anything behind, I almost ate the bone 🤤 I’ve have Peruvian food all of the world but this right HERE is the best chicken I’ve ever aren’t in the states, it’s seasoned to perfection and it’s crispy not greasy nor oily. It melts in your mouth pretty much“

“Found this place after an event nearby. Ordered the Ceviche de Pescado - fresh and delicious, plus the portion was huge. A little pricey, but worth it. Also got the fried plátanos - a simple classic done well. Then an inks cola to drink. The server was doing it all herself, so a little slow, but very kind and good service still. Will be back & recommend.“

“Rikas Peruvian restaurant is like the 5th or 6th Peruvian restaurant I've been to in LA. It's interesting because it's located in Koreatown. But this little Peruvian restaurant packs a bunch. I enjoyed it a lot. It's like classic Peruvian comfort food. If you guys haven't tried their ceviche mixto, it is a must try. It's probably the best Peruvian ceviche I'd had in LA. Nice fresh raw fish, and the sourness to the juice was just about right. Their chaufa pollo, or chicken fried rice, was also another knockout. It's safe to say that this is the best fried rice I've had outside of any Asian restaurant. Haha. Their lomo saltado was also pretty solid. Great sauce, fries, and steak. In all, I would highly recommend Rikas if you are in town. It is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area. You'll feel so great after eating the food here. The chef Jose is also a hospitable man. Look out for him if you come here. I shot a Youtube video of my experience at Rikas, which you can find on my Youtube channel Rockstar Eater.“

“I’ve been eating at this place before 1987. I used to take my children here for dinner or lunch on Saturdays. My children are grown and are raising their families now. I am in my Senior years now and moved from that area. However, I still go over there to eat on Saturdays every now and then. One thing I can share with you, is the recipe has never changed. 😎😎“
