“Stopped by for brunch yesterday; cute little place with outdoor seating. They quickly accommodated our party of 11 (9 kids, 2 adults). Michael, our server, was very kind, professional, and friendly. He was very patient with all our kiddos, which is always appreciated by us mom. Food was delicious! I ordered a club sandwich (best one I've had in a while) with fries. My friend had a BLT with sweet potato fries and she said her meal was very good. Will visit again!“

Hormone and Antibiotic Free beef is really important so we search out those options out, when possible.
The woman who took our order was super sweet and helpful!
We had the Holy Aioli burger and The Old Town Hot Dog along with a side of tots——Seriously all amazing!
We live in OC but had to come to the area for a meeting and love The Public Market anytime we’re close by. Hoping there’s an OC location.“

“We sat outside ìn the patio area. Our server was friendly and patient giving us time to chat and browse the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal, drinks and my water glass was kept full as our server kept an eye on us always checking to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend the Twisted Sage Cafe.“

Big fat ZERO for the manager who was too busy flirting with the hostesses to care that guests who were told the wait was 20 minutes were still waiting after 50 minutes and we would have gone elsewhere if they gave a crap and told us it would be a long wait. So... Once we finally got seated after almost an hour's wait, Philip saved the night with great service and attentiveness. (It was a birthday for my friend, and I told the hoelstesses, but the front desk didn't tell the server about the birthday so no birthday dessert for my friend) 😞

The hostess service and manager really could have been better. At one point there was a group of 5 or 6 employees (including the manager) at the front hostess station with a CROWD of waiting guests. It was not a good look because it looked like they were loafing around while guests were waiting and waiting and waiting. They didn't offer us an alternative seating location (outside) after we had been waiting double the time they said the wait was. Not sure I'll be back for a little while ... They wasted my time and I didn't like the lack of care or communication.“

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. Thank you to the owner, Haydee, and her family for providing such a great first experience. I'm now a loyal customer!“

“Cute, local place. Interesting food options on the menu. Service was lacking for our large group initially, we needed to go to the bar to get drinks instead of being served at the table. They were able to accommodate a reservation change for our large party.“

Have to give a special shout out to the waiter, Jacob who not only came by frequently but informed us of some extra deals they had going on, and even let us know of this special offer for their monthly beer club without being too pushy. Definitely, coming back. Not only for the ambiance and the fact that I can bring my corgi, but because Jacob was so cool.“

“Omg the food here is sooooooo good!!!! All the sandwiches have amazing flavors. The bread is so freaking fresh. Gosh I eat from here too often honestly. I love the tomatillos in the California sandwhich . The pastrami is perfect everytime. The turkey with cranberry tastes like holidays <3 the cookies are so yummy. The salads are perfect. The agua and lemonade isn't too sweet, just right. The staff is so nice and attentive too!“

“My favorite brunch spot. I regularly drive here from Pico Rivera just to have their coffee lol. BEST cafe de olla I’ve had from a restaurant. Super friendly and attentive staff and amazing food. My favorite dish is their chilaquiles and adding chorizo, eggs and avocado. Sooo good. Parking is sometimes hard to find only bc this spot is so popular on weekends but there is street parking as well.“

“Pretty good selection of micro-brews. It may be a little smaller than the offering they had when they were located a few doors down at the corner of Gary & 2nd, but it's good enough. I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. We must have hit the bartender at a bad moment because when we arrived he didn't seem too keen on our arrival. When I asked what beer was new or something he could recommend, he kind of blew me off. Thought it kind of odd. But, he did come around and grew pretty chill as our lunch progressed. Chalk it up to a bad moment that I don't think had anything to do with us. All in all, I like the Rookery; hanging out on the back patio with a microbrew and a sandwich was exactly what I was looking for.“

“Great location in Pomona. Cool sports type bar/restaurant with excellent service and food. Menu is everything from great appitizers to full meals. We were there for a business happy hour meeting and had jalapeno sliders yet I will be back for those and other menu options including the tacos which looked fantastic.Our server at the bar was great. Knowledgeable on all the beer offerings on tap which there are many. Clean and friendly place that I recommend and will return to.“
