“I needed to find a cake last minute for my stepdad's 75th birthday. I was driving around near my hairdresser, looking for one at 2pm Saturday, party that evening. Drove past this place and OMG I'M SO HAPPY I DID! They had the most beautiful cakes ready to go. I chose one that was part chocolate, part nutella. Delicious, light, airy-everyone remarked how it was a better cake than they were used to at a party and that it was so tasty! I will be back! Service was quick and helpful.“

“We had a wonderful experience at this Baskin-Robbins! We ordered 24 boxes of prepackaged ice cream bars (four per box) for a school fundraiser, and Lucy was incredibly helpful throughout the process.

We prepaid, and they kindly boxed up our order and kept it in the freezer until pickup the following week. We were so glad they reserved everything for us because they were nearly out of stock when we returned! Lucy also helped us at pickup and made everything easy.

The manager, Ziq, introduced himself and encouraged us to reach out if we needed more ice cream for future fundraisers. We really appreciated the friendly service and willingness to accommodate our order.

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“Holy smokes! This is the greatest Baskin-Robbins I’ve ever been to! Not only was the ice cream DELICIOUS, but the employees were friendly, helpful, and most importantly, KIND. I patronize this location 2 times a week MINIMUM. During my most recent visit to this wonderful establishment, I ordered a kids double scoop and the two flavors I chose were to DIE for. My first scoop was ROCKY ROAD and my second was BASEBALL NUT (I love my cashews). Both made my tum-tum say “yum yum.”“

Despite a full establishment and a steady stream of customers continuing to come in, he remained completely focused on giving every single person an excellent experience. He worked quickly without ever rushing, making sure each order was done right the first time.

Even with a long line, Julian took his time at the register to ensure accuracy, double-checking orders and even asking if we had a punch card to use, something that could easily be overlooked when working solo under pressure. His professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor stood out and made the experience enjoyable for everyone waiting.

My visit today was at 1 PM and the sweet girl that made my order was named Victoria. She was friendly and professional, greeted me when I walked up to the counter, and answered all the questions I had. Victoria made me a photo worthy Oreo type sundae with hot fudge and marshmallow and jamocha ice cream, all layered in the cup perfectly. “Hoy por primera vez tuve la oportunidad de comer un desayuno en Americas Bakery y la comida en general está bien….pero me parecen que no está representado bien la comida Salvadoreña; comí tamales con plátanos crema queso chorizo y casamiento y café, el casamiento estaba super cargado de ajo y cebolla lo cual hace que no se pueda saborear bien lo que conozco casamiento además parece que el agregaron frijoles licuados y eso no se acostumbra en El Salvador, la crema parece crema mejicana muy aguada y poco simple, el queso era molido como el que se usa para spaghettis no el típico trozo que sirven en cuanto al tamal la medida está bien pero está falto de verduras no le vi ni la aceituna ni el garbanzo chile verde ni nada de lo que recuerdo en un tamal salvadoreño si tenía bastante recaudo y el café lo siento pero yo sé que hay café mucho mejor que el tienen…precio pues es el promedio actual casi veinte dólares por persona…creo que tienen mucho espacio para mejorar, si no el cliente que pruebe sus comidas por primera vez posiblemente también sea su ultima vez.“

“Stopped by with my partner recently after a late lunch at Dave's and got a couple of cones with a few toppings each. The ice cream was delicious and the staff was totally friendly and up for questions, they asked if we wanted samples as well which we declined. Their ice cream ice on the pricey side, something around 8 or 9 dollars each, but it was A LOT in a big crunchy waffle cone, as I say often; you get what you pay for.

I do wish they had had pretzel pieces to mix in. Seems like an easy win.

The staff even looked all around when I came back a half hour or so later concerned I dropped my debit card.

If I still had a local one in SLO I would be inclined to stop by after the good experience here.“
