“I've never seen a stellar subway. It simply doesn't exist. I mean what do you expect its a subway! Find me a subway with 5 star reviews. It doesn't exist. Ive been to every single subway in the valley. This is probably the cleanest, and most secluded one of them all. The quality isn't half bad either.“

I fell in love with cheba hut when I lived in New Mexico for a while. Moved to the Bay Area and realized there was none near by. “Total classic spot! So small and intimate. Got to know the crew! They are busy but, friendly and will chat over the hustle and bustle. I got the pepper steak planned on taking half home. I got to chatting an ended up killing that thing. It was super tasty and filled me up for the day! “I came in today in a full blown hunger meltdown I was welcomed and accepted by the sweetest man who pretty much held my hand through the menu and helped me pick out some things for me to scarf like an actual goblin. “Ike's has the best vegetarian subs around! Well, from what I've tried anyway. Few months back I tried their Freddy Krueger sandwich (not vegetarian) on their dutch crunch and it was great. The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. Service was good and my sandwich came out in a timely manner. It's a great place to grab a bite after running errands in the plaza.“

“I ordered the grilled pork sandwich and it came out in less than 5 minutes. They put in a pretty generous amount of pork and pickled veggies, and the bread had a nice, crispy crust. The pork was a little too peppery for me but otherwise well marinated. I managed to find free street parking in the front and was able to grab and go quickly.“

Also, apparently you can get extra sandwich sauce on the side which comes in a pretty large portion cup.We placed a to-go order at the register around 2:30p they are fairly busy & it took about 12 minutes for our food. They bake their sandwich bread inside what looks like a large brick type open oven as a pizza place would do. When you order a sandwich, your bread is pretty much baked to order as you watch. They're able to do this as the sandwiches use a flat bread style.You place your order at the register they give you a number and you can wait anywhere in the cafe where they will bring you your food regardless if it is for here to go.It appeared as though it was the manager who was filling the roll of expediter, inspecting, packing & running completed orders to guests.I have to hand it to the person that was handling this at 2:27pm 3/8/24. This gentleman was extremely friendly, gracious, professional, warm, welcoming & part of why I would come back sooner.Please, pass on to him how noticeable good he is at the things that he does.I left feeling like I had made a good decision to go there and I would like to come back. The guests in this location appeared well put together with a mix of middle and lower classes.My final comment is not one directed to this establishment itself. My only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the general cost of eating out. The final bill with two sandwiches, each coming with a small side salad automatically was a competitive $24 which is a tidbit too high for me. The cash register uses a system to ring you where you are automatically asked to accept or deny leaving a tip to which paying customers likely never appreciate.The location seemed steadily busy at 1:30 in the afternoon on a weekday but not so busy where it was uncomfortable or a noticeable wait for food. There is plenty of seating inside and out with umbrellas outside and a fenced-in patio which is across the street from a park. “I can always count on a wonderful meal at the Stevenson Ranch Urbane Cafe. From the warm welcome as you enter to the delicious healthy food. Management and the staff are friendly and go the extra mile to make sure the quality, consistency and presentation of the food is excellent. The restaurant is clean. “I grew up here in the West Valley and have passed this place so many times. I have always been curious to try it since it's a shop that's been on Ventura Blvd for like 20 years. After a friend told me that this used to be her go-to lunch stop, I decided to give it a try. The parking is pretty great given its location. There's a parking structure that is fee free, and there is a side entrance to the shop so you don't have to walk all the way around back to the front street entrance. The cafe its self is has a NYC sub shop vibe to it. I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. At my first visit, the shop owner was there helping me decide between sandwiches. The one thing that bummed me out was that they didn't have some of the items I wanted like Swiss cheese and the banana pudding. The owner stated she was out of Swiss for the day and that she hadn't made any pudding. However, I wasn't too upset cause I appreciate a restaurant that uses fresh ingredients! The sub itself, I ordered their Turkey Ham & Cheese, was pretty good! The pickles are house made and are delicious! The only things I didn't like were first, the pickle spear the comes with the sub was way too wet when she plated it with my sub. By the time I finished the first half of my sandwich, the bread of second half was soggy. Secondly, I do not like how they chop their ingredients. I prefer sliced tomatoes and onions and this place uses diced tomatoes and onions. Nevertheless, those are very minor preferences that I had. I still enjoyed the dry half of my sub and have been back a few more times since.“

“The biggest and best chicken tostada you will find anywhere! Baja salad is great with all the colored tortilla chips. Tuna roll, French toast, beef dip, Rueben, Pastrami, Denver omelette, All delicious meals I have had here that were great. Oh yeah, Hamburger with mushrooms, swiss cheese, bacon and tomato with crispy fries! I love this place! Carlos has worked hard to keep this place going with great tasting food. I have been coming here for 20 years and have never had a bad meal. Places like this that have fresh cooked food are hard to come by. I hope God blesses this restaurant with more business. Between a truck smashing into his building causing him to close for almost a year, then the pandemic, then a lot of local businesses closing he has kept working hard with his employees to keep the doors open. The ingredients are wonderful, but you need a fork to finish it because it was oversalted (which the friendly owner verified and offered to correct), and it was crumbling at the end. “I’ve been meaning to review this place for a WHILE. The only reason I didn’t get around to it sooner is because I was always so excited to eat my sandwich that I forgot to take a picture of it. Any sandwich here will be one of if not the best sub sandwich you’ll ever have and are all elevated to the next level with their Italian dressing that you HAVE TO get extra of. The sandwich in the picture is the Pandoras Box, and it’s fantastic, but the Hula Girl, Sweet Caroline, Captain Morgan, Endless Summer or just a traditional sub (I recommend the #6) are all amazing choices you will never be disappointed by. Also all the staff are super friendly. They even recognize my dad and I whenever we go. Easily the best sandwich’s in LA.Parking: It’s parking on Ventura, so it’s sucks, but you can usually find a spot.“

“I've been coming here for so long. This might be the best Vietnamese Sandwich shop in town. It's authentic Vietnamese for sure. They also bake their bread in-house and I've overhead other customers raving about it, sometimes coming in just to buy the bread! Also, try their Vietnamese coffee with your sandwich! I love that they sell other items at the counter in addition to their sandwiches; banh gio, cha lua, banh bot loc, just to name a few. In gacy, I'm craving their food as I'm writing this review! There is indoor seating available, parking is limited but it seems like most customers get their food to go so parking doesn't seem to be an issue.“

“Fantastic food in a busy but fun atmosphere.We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened at this location. The food is fantastic, there is plenty of free parking in the lot behind and usually room to be seated. Friendly staff.The only downside I have noticed over the past few years is that orders can take quite a bit longer than they used to. It's not uncommon to have a 20 to 30 minute wait once food is ordered which can be a bummer with hungry kids.“

“I just went in and had the best experience with Daryl! He is a genuinely kind human being. He is the rare kind of person that has a positive a ripple effect throughout a community. He was so incredibly patient while taking my order. He was the only person working at the time but had the best attitude. He got our food out fast and even reminded me that I forgot to grab my chips. “As a first time customer, I got a simple roast beef and swiss sandwich w/ lettuce/tomato/mayo.The bread they use has a great texture and flavor, it's a good step up from Jersey Mike's or any other chain shops. The roast beef seems high quality, I'm not sure where they source it but it was very good. It's not a huge sandwich but for $13 I was happy.I also had to try the $9 a slice Eastside cheesecake and man was that delicious.It's hard to find great subs in LA but this is my new favorite spot.The only better place I found so far is Eastside Deli in downtown LA. It's a long trip from Studio City though so I'll only go there as a treat.“

I saw the positive reviews about the food and while I was nervous about the wait times mentioned, I had to give it a try. My sandwich came out in about 3 to 4 minutes with about 5 other customer in the shop and 2 also waiting. I got the Dani California loaded up on Dutch crunch and it was really good! “This place is absolutely AMAZING! They have, hands down, some of *the* best turkey sandwiches in the country. It’s like Thanksgiving dinner, in a roll, year round. Staff is warm, attentive and very professional. The atmosphere is pretty good as well. “This is a hidden gem - the paninis are great. The salads are great. I placed an order for a work event I was having nearby, I had probably 20 items on my order. The order was ready on time and all of the items were labeled (which made my job of distributing them so much easier). Everything was very fresh! I ordered online and told the guy making my order for extra veggies and that it was okay to squish the sandwich because I know it will be hard to close. I also called that we would be late, and he held it the whole time (they can cancel or throw the order after a certain amount of time). I'm pretty sure he put extra sauce on the sandwiches which was really nice, and it was a fat sandwich. “My family and I visited this location yesterday, Antonio took our order, his disposition, and he was very friendly and gave us suggestions. Hubby had a wrap, the elite it's new, I had the Italian herb and cheese foot long bread, and chose #8 garlic with olive oil, honey mastard and garlic oile my veggies, our lil one had kids meal, that was a good deal 6 inch sub, snack, cookie and juice. For the most part, it was tasty. However, too much SALT got from the grilled chicken, not to sure if the bread herb and cheese would have contributed and hubby said same thing SALT, thankfully the veggies helped and I am glad I didn't take the bacon. Subway take that into consideration, wherever you all source your rotisserie chicken from. Imagine eating this daily that sodium, can be a problem, for one, send up a person blood pressure, so be mindful when ordering. Our meal cost altogether $37.15 and he filled it up which was great. We got cookies, as combos are no longer available for the wrap or footlong. It has been a minute since I had a subway like 4 yrs ago. ??‍♀️, so this was news to me. The regular chocolate chip cookie was good. The double chocolate has a brownie taste, too much sugar for me. I would definitely visit again, probably try tuna or meatballs.
