“Wow. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have visited Equality Vines. I visited with my mom for a wine tasting and we were pleasantly surprised at how great of a time we had.Upon entering the building, my mom and I were greeted by Ben. I was immediately blown away with the interior decor; every corner is filled with very unique and eye-catching art pieces (courtesy of the art gallery next door). Ben gave us time to admire all of the art before we proceeded with our tasting, and what a tasting it was! I love how each of the wines had a story, and Ben told them beautifully (my mom cried multiple times). We enjoyed each of the wines we tasted, but our favorite was the "Get Your Own Damn Coffee" Chardonnay. A great wine with an even better name.I love everything that Equality Vines represents, I've never known wine to be so inspirational/meaningful and I can't wait to return and buy more wine (two bottles was definitely not enough). Thank you Ben for the amazing story-telling and amazing personality. Thank you Matt for allowing me to reschedule my tasting. Such a great experience!!!“
“We have never been to this area before and didn't know of any restaurants. Thank God my daughter found this restaurant on Google. This is a truly five star. The menu has unique ingredients so perfectly combined and designed. The taste of the 4 different dishes we got were truly unique. Ingredients were super fresh. We loved it. Service was very nice, no throwing the plates or silverware. They were placed in the right place. Thank you Boon for a truly nice experience. Was it cheap? No, but good food comes with a price that I am willing to pay. Congrats to the owner and chef Crista Luedtke“
“Highly recommend boon eat + drink! We heard that if we come around 6-7pm on the weekend that there would be a long wait. We went about 10 minutes after opening on Sunday evening, and there were already 2 tables seated. The staff were so nice and attentive. There are two sections to the restaurant: indoors and a covered, heated patio area (they provide blankets). My only small complaint is that some of the tables are close together--I guess that really adds to the cozy vibe. The food was outstanding! In each dish, the different components of the dish balanced each other so well (sweetness + salty + tartness). That made the dishes feel less heavy. Appetizers: *BURRATA cranberry compote | pears | spiced walnuts | grilled bread 9/10 *CAULIFLOWER | sriracha vinaigrette | currant | sesame 8/10 (they ran out of brussel sprouts but the cauliflower was delicious) Mains: *seared DUCK BREAST | cauliflower puree | apricot marmalade | fried kale | pomegranate glaze 10000/10 *chili braised niman PORK shoulder | creamy polenta | fiesta slaw | ricotta salata + pepitas 7/10 They also had an assortment of alcohol to pair with your food :)“
“Wood fire pizzas are finger-licking good. The crust was excellent. I could not stop eating. Nice, newly renovated or newly opened location (I am not from the area so I’m not sure). We tried a couple of pizzas and the house salad and everything was delicious.“
“We had a great time and great food at Baci Cafe and Wine bar. The menu is extensive so we had a hard time narrowing down our choices. However, we picked this place because of the sheer amount of choice as I didn't know what we would be in the mood for when I made the reservation several weeks in advance. I had the veal osso bucco and it was outstanding. My husband had the short ribs and they were also very good; but I think the osso bucco was better. Both were served with a creamy polenta that was really good. My husband is not a fan of polenta, he prefers mashed potatoes, but even he was impressed with this polenta. Our waitress was great, very friendly and good at helping us narrow in on our dinner choices.“
“Phenomenal wine bar. Fun for all wine nerds. Burgundy city with old wines, everything ready to pop. Finished the night with insanely good sake, had a gorgeous sancerre. Next time I'm going burg or going home. Ha. Thank you Evan. So nice to meet you. I'll see you often buddy.“
“Portalupi offers a number of wines that diverge from most of what you'll find at the majority of wineries in northern Sonoma County. Starting with a Barbera-based sparkler (a little drier, please). After wading through a couple of decent dry whites (Arneis, Vermentino), and skipping some of the lighter reds, we moved on to some of the bolder offerings: Barbera, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo-- all winners. Dolinsek Pinot was a nice surprise; a departure from the rest of the (Italian) lineup. The host of our group of six was friendly, informative and engaging, with just the right balance between taking us through the flight and giving us space to socialize among ourselves and discuss the wines“
“This was such a fun Tasting! We had a great time with this diverse and knowledgeable staff…not to mention an absolutely amazing choice of Pinots! It was most delicious paired with our cheese and bruschetta tray. Thank you for the great education, stories, laughs and a wonderful wine!“
“Awesome wine, awesome music, awesome service. What more can you ask for? We stumbled here last Saturday night after eating dinner next door. Heard the live music from the street which drew our attention into this establishment. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the wine (Pinot and Sparkling) was. I'll need to look into this winery a little more as there's some serious winemaking going on. We'll be back!!“
“Ok if the wines are extraordinary, Rob is even more! Charismatic and so easy to understand through his presentation. Came here with our son and daughter in law as their first visit to Sonoma and they loved it! The Pinots are amazing and the Chardonnay is outstanding ?. Hope you visit them!“
“Visiting from Boston and came to Sonoma for the day. We came to Bacchus landing. Montagne Russe is the best winery we’ve been to. Kevin Bersofsky is the wine maker and makes the best wine. If you like white, if you like red, come to this place. You’ll learn a lot, drink phenomenal wine, and leave in a better mood than you came in with. Love this place!!“
“My wife had members of her family come in from the east coast last month and they wanted to visit with us as well as taste some interesting wines in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. I have noticed Alpha Omega's tasting room opening just off the square and decided we should duck in to see if it would meet our needs. It did and was wonderful. Service was top notch. Samantha catered to our needs and informed us of what was in our glass while leaving room for us to visit and enjoy everything. My family grows a few acres of Grenache here in Sonoma county and I was pleased to taste Alpha Omega's Grenache. I purchased a bottle and will share it at my family's next get together. A great place to make some wonderful memories.“
“Loved a unplanned stop here have purchased Siduri at home in Oregon & noticed the Willamette Valley connection. Their 1000 mile Pinot Noir tasting is fantastic ~ start with their Oregon vineyards & end with their Santa Barbara vineyards. They also have a Pinot blend tasting. Thanks to Tonya, lots of knowledge, information & opinion ~ all added to a nice visit & excellent wine. For having only Pinot Noir, the differences in side by side tasting is fantastic.“
“As someone who's been here long enough to remember Seaside Metal, I'm happy to report that there's another ocean-side restaurant in town. It's got everything from a chowder in a light creamy broth, to oysters both hot and cold. The beet and cheese salad would clean your palate for just about anything, but is especially nice before a crab roll. If you don't try the crab roll, your descendants will never forgive you when they ask for adventures from your childhood. Top notch food and friendly service from owners Greg, Jenny and their staff will at least leave you stuffed and, if you're discriminate, deeply satisfied as well. Get a wine flight, the pours are generous!“
