“What a great new addition to Brea! We were impressed by the quality and variety of their offerings. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and the team brings everything out fresh. We ordered the Beef Empanadas to start and we got these mains - Salmon Bowl, Peri Peri Chicken Plate, California Burger, Gaucho Steak Sandwich to share.

The Beef Empanada was so good, with the flakey crust. Our entire party really enjoyed all the dishes, the portions were generous and tasted delicious. We also got the Triple Chocolate Cookie which was the perfect finish.

Overall, this is a great option for lunch and dinner. They also have a nice patio that’s dog friendly. Their staff was ultra friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!“

“They easily accommodated our mobility issues with a walker and table to sit side by side. The hostess was kind and patient. Server was very well versed on the menu and able to modify items according to our needs. The food came perfectly as ordered and was exceptionally good. We cannot recommend this restaurant more heartily! Service, menu items and variability, ability to modify to dietary needs all were excellent. Next time we are in West Covina, we will definitely return to the Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar. By the way, the wine list was very good as well. “It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

“I've gone to several of the regional airport cafes. This location is the best! The wall is all windows and it's directly on the runway which adds to the experience seeing planes land and takeoff while eating. The parking is easy and plentiful. This place was hopping on a Friday morning. That was nice to see. The service was great. Greeted with a warm, friendly smile. The servers were attentive, prompt and courteous.
The portions large and very reasonable. The food was delicious. I had biscuit and gravy and a meat lover's omelette. Oh my!! Very flavorful. And filling!!
The lobby has plenty of pictures with history of the airport as well as memorabilia throughout the restaurant.

“Great place, owner Mike is hands-on and will explain the beer selection (which he tries and chooses himself) and unique menu. Everytime I travel to CA I stop by. Burgers are great, beers are mostly local with some intriguing European beers tossed in. All the produce is freshly and locally sourced. Very unique retro interior and vibe. “Every year after the Glendora All Class Reunion Picnic in October, members of the graduating class of 1969 aim to meet up for a more intimate visit at Club House 66. We started it the weekend of our 50th High School Reunion with dinner the night before our formal gala. We had our 70th birthday on the beautiful patio there 2 years later with a wonderful buffet dinner. We no longer have a committee planned reunion but we have committed to trying to make the Annual All Class Picnic and then having a no host gathering on the Club House 66 patio. This year there were 14 of us,74 year old, coming by after a day at Finkbiner Park to have drinks and dinner on a warm Indian Summer night to reminisce with childhood friends. Our server was Ruth and she was delightful and her team made us feel like royalty. They set up the table to greet the group and kept the drinks flowing , the water glasses full and brought us delicious food as we ordered it thoughout the night. Ruth made sure we each had our own bill. We didn’t even have to ask. We interacted with the other friendly families out on the patio and we all felt like we had come “home”. It was the perfect ending to a great day spent laughing about childhood memories and our journeys into adulthood. We will be back next year and plan to celebrate our Class of 1969’s 75th Birthday right there on that picturesque patio. Thank you Clubhouse 66, Ruth and the whole team who made us feel so special. ♥️“
