“Soooo good for authentic Cantonese food! My favorite dishes were the XO sauce rice rolls and the beef brisket noodle soup. The rice rolls were soft in the inside with a slight crispiness from being pan-fried. The beef brisket was tender and the broth had great flavor. Ok and their CHILI OIL. Excellent. I think they make it in-house. It has a nice, roasted chili pepper flavor and definitely packs a punch.

The service was amazing. We called in advance for a party of 7 and they had our table ready right when we walked in. We were treated so kindly by the servers and the food came out quickly. Note that it does take longer for the rice pots and the rice rolls to come out.

Ambience was lively but comfortable. Good for a party of 2 or 12. You can bet I’ll be here the next time my family and I are craving some Cantonese food.“

“The place was empty so we were initially a bit doubtful. I’m glad we made the decision to stay because ALL of their dishes were delicious, not just their Hainan chicken but also their beef, wings, and even their stir fried veggies tastes like it came from much bigger restaurants.“

The overwhelming favorites were: the special Grilled beef short ribs ($48 so count it as 2 dishes), celery with Lily, and SH braised pork.

The service was prompt, but we got the sense they didn’t prefer us to stay too long and catch up after we were done with our meal.“

The wine is also decent and reasonably priced. But ktv has some flaws.The sound atmosphere and song requesting methods are all new and very good. But some of the songs have wrong lyrics. It's fine if it's a random song, but if it's a singer you're a fan of, your mouth will almost crooked when you sing. . I hope the boss can update it.If not singing, there is a place to eat. “It is a nice restaurant! I have been here once, in the beginning of July 2022. The meals, that I have ordered, were delicious. I have ordered beef meals. One was BBQ, another was fried. The prices for these meals were fair, and not on the expensive side. They carried several generic beers. In addition, they carried Taiwan's Beer. So, I thought to try it out. Of course, alcohol is on the expensive side. Therefore, to dine-in, I would recommend to try their meals, and drink water. Also, this place opens around 5:30 PM, and closes around 2:00 AM. Still, during my visit, since it was Wednesday evening, the place was empty. I was the only customer in this establishment. Nevertheless, I had a good experience, and I would recommend anyone to visit this restaurant.“

“I hope this place stays open for a long time. The chicken is moist and full of meat flavor, while the soup is hot enough to cook even the shredded cabbage they give you. The rice was fluffy and soft to eat. I saw that they were kept busy with takeout orders when i came to eat weekday lunch, so heres to more visits in the future.“

They take pride in their presentation and they don’t have to do this, but they also included a lot of little extra items that compliment your meal. Can you imagine 20 of us, but we never had to ask for another drink, she automatically filled our glasses and she had a smile all the time. “Omeli Kitchen is my happy place! Every time I go, it's a flavor explosion. The lomo salteado is a guaranteed winner—it's never let me down. And the shaken beef? Seriously, it's so good it should be illegal. This cozy spot might only have 10 tables, but they get the food to you lightning fast. It's a must-have on our regular rotation.“

“Solid spot for Japanese-Korean food in Whittier. The menu is small but focused which I like. We got the Cheese Katsu meal, Omurice, and Egg Sando. The Katsu was cooked well, not too greasy, very flavorful. The Omurice was my fave, fluffy and the sauce was really good. Another highlight was the Yuzu Panna Cotta we got for dessert. It was citrusy, not too sweet, great texture, we really enjoyed it. Their Matcha Yuzu-ade was refreshing as well. Good service and a relaxed atmosphere. We will be coming back to try some things we weren't able to fit in this time around.“

It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. Portions are huge, everything hits, and they’ve got BOGO beer and soju all day which doesn't get better than that really. Went with a group and honestly, we barely made a dent in the plates. We got the giant katsu, tteokbokki w/ ramen + cheese, and bulgogi cheese fries. The katsu really is humongous. The tteokbokki was solid but the bulgogi fries was my fave of the night. The place gets busy, but food comes out fast. Overall a good spot to grab a late meal with friends and walk out feeling full.“

“I've been to many Pho restaurants and this one stands out because, they offer unlimited noodles for free!!! They have different types of noodles but the traditional noodles you typically get with Pho, you can ask for an unlimited amount. Just the noodles so no proteins but how cool is that? One portion was good enough for me, but I saw plenty of other customers asking for extra noodles. What a way to stand out. What adds to the appeal is that the food was good. “The mazemen here is soooo good! I tried Mogu Mogu before this and it’s essentially the same thing but I personally think Mazera is better. The chashu is very good not dry and the portion can feed more than one person, especially if you add the rice at the end. I always end up with leftovers which I eat the next day and it’s still nice the next day.“

“I had a great first experience here. I thought the portions are quite good for the price that you pay. First thing to mention is that this place is not that big. If you have 4 people then it should be easy to fit. The staff were nice and it seems like it is family owned.

The fish filet sandwich was really good! Just go for it! I enjoyed their curry as well, we got the pork katsu, I just wish that they had some of those red radish or green cucumber pickles, that would go quite well with the curry!

I've also enjoyed the chicken and beef teriyaki bowls, as well as the sushi and roll offerings. While they may not offer as many fish varieties as other places, the ones they do have are all fresh and satisfying.

For a small, mom-and-pop restaurant, I'm glad there's a place like this close to home and affordable. The service is good. I've visited many times and the owner is a man of few words. The other staff have been nice as well.

Excellent beef dish with sprouts and tried for the first time silkworm pulpo soup which was better than I expected once I got over the idea and look of it. Some drunk noisy obnoxious patrons to be expected but otherwise had a great meal in a small mom and pop Korean resto. Will definitely come back and try other dishes. The waitress was also very nice and although she could not speak very well English she was very polite, nice and attentive.“

“I've tried Hainan chicken all my life, and this one is special. Portions are very generous. The chicken is very tender and cooked to perfection. The rice is incredible even it's just rice. But they Cook the rice in a way that's not very greasy like other places. Kind of dry and tasty.
We also tried the potato noodles since it's highly rated with other reviews. We ended up taking to go since it was just too much food for 2 is us.
Be careful online shows Xin Wang restaurant but the actual sign in front says Ana Wang Hainan Chicken. But it is the same. Don't know why.
