“I saw it when passing by and tried it. The restaurant is clean and bright, and the service is very friendly. The lunch set is a great value. The Mongolian beef is tender and not salty, and the Kung Pao three delicacies are also slightly spicy. They are all worth a try.“

“Overall cute and tidy shop.
Service was OK
I’m not sure what I was looking for. I thought that the beef dumplings were good, I thought that the wontons in the sesame sauce were fantastic. . I enjoy the complementary peanuts and pickled vegetables that they put on the table.“

“Came here for Fan Tuan at 3pm but please note the kitchen is closed from 2-5pm, while baked foods are available to purchased in the front. Luckily they had 2 fan tuan left and I bought them to go. It was really delicious! Would love to come back here on Saturday morning for Taiwanese breakfast from 9-12.“

“I saw this restaurant on IG and live relatively close and wanted to try. Dan Modern Chinese did not disappoint me. Every dish and the dumplings were flavorful and delicious. I'm definitely going back to try other dishes on the menu ?“

“I've had this place saved for a while now and finally got a chance today.
Stopped by for lunch and the place just opened a little bit after 1100. Not really a hidden gem since it is located off a very busy street corner of Lomita Blvd. and Normandie. I say a hole in the wall, but don't let the outside fool you.
The gentleman, (owner) greeted me with a warm welcome as I walked in. Small dining area but is very clean and organized.
I ordered the Braised Pork Belly Bento and Oyster Omelet. The pork belly is tender, juicy, and flavorful. The bento comes with tofu, vegetables, and eggs. My only complaint was the portion size, I needed more since it was so good. The oyster omelet is tasty and authentic with enough oyster good for one. Everything tasted amazing, but I reserved the 5 Stars ? later. I need to try other dishes on the menu.
Parking is very tight and difficult. Limited street parking is available.“
