“Pho May is simply delicious. Their broth is tasty, full of flavor and not salty at all. They use good quality meats.

The fried Tofu rolls with the peanut sauce are so good and refreshing.

The fried egg rolls are crispy and full of goodness. They're served with fresh lettuce leaves and a fish sauce.

In my humble opinion, the Thai tea is a bit weak and watery.

I HIGHLY recommend Pho May.“

It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. It was GOOD to me!! I am not a fan of creamy, mayonnaise, ranch, béchamel, hollandaise, type of sauce so I chose the safe route this time. It was delicious. Very filling and full of flavor. “The one guy working in the restaurant was working hard to get everyone their rolls, but obviously that meant that it would take a while for food to come out. We waited over an hour at dinner time for our food. Everything was presented beautifully and the rolls were inventive and large. The food was delicious but don’t go here for the service.“

“Yes yes, another Country/Chicken Fried Steak breakfast 😋 this time at the mom & pop shop Sunny Side Cafe in Seal Beach. They took over a defunct Denny's and are making it their own.

They served some of the darkest orange egg yolks I've yet to see at a diner/cafe. Super dark orange eggs yolks usually signify the hen had a diet rich in carotenoids, which are pigments found in plants like marigolds, alfalfa, and other foraged foods. They were deliciously sticky. And instead of a toast option, they bring you a homemade biscuit, halved, then griddled on the cut side (nice touch) and served with heavily cinnamoned whipped butter.

The stand out for me were the hash browns, nicely crispy yet tender within and I'm fairly certain they were flat topped using clarified butter. They were incredibly delicious just on their own.

Friendly service rounded out a very nice meal. It's barley 10 min from home so I'll definitely be back.“

The menu is huge, the place is spotless and well organized, and the design is modern and stylish. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, with generous and filling portions.

The highlight of our visit was Sefkan, the staff member who took care of us. He treated us with genuine hospitality and made us feel truly welcome just like a real host should.

Right next door, there’s also a dessert shop where you can find all the classic Turkish sweets and ice cream. Their desserts and ice cream were outstanding as well.

“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

We had the Shroomday Button (Oyster and Maitake Mushrooms/ White Wine Braised Leeks / Truffle Cheese / house stretched mozzarella / shredded mozz / parsley / post oven of lemon zest. *We love to add Hobbs Sausage*). I added that delicious sausage and loved that pizza! We also had the Bloomsdale (garlicky bloomsdale spinach / hand stretched mozzarella / shredded mozzarella /pecorino / smoked ricotta / gaeta olive / za’atar / feta salsa verde)... and YUM! And we decided to try the Garden of Farms Little Gem Caesar Salad (little gems / kewpie caesar dressing / pizza croutons / anchovies / Ribbons of Fiscalini Gold / soft cooked egg). Again, tasty, tasty, tasty. Speak Cheezy sure seems to use high-end products in the creation of their pizzas and salads. Everything was top notch.
