I googled easy Chinese spots going down the 405 and came across Chinese Kitchen. Johan was 12/10 in customer service. They let me sample everything and every single dish was genuinely so flavorful and tasty. I couldn’t recommend going here enough.“

“First time here and I'm saddened and surprised to see it doesn't have a better rating. I ordered a combo to items beef and broccoli, mushroom chicken and a oder of fried dumplings. I was so cought up on eating I didn't take pictures except for the dumplings that arrived later since they were freshly made. “Hidden shopping center with a hidden Gem. Inside is pretty spacious. Was not busy when we went. They have Chinese food option and Mongolian as well. Went for the build your own Mongolian bowl. You’re charged by the pound and for a reasonable price. You get to choose your sauces which is good. Food tasted fresh and flavorful. Definitely worth the drive. Looking forward to come try there Chinese food next time“

From food to friendly staff and cooks! Our server greeted us as soon as we walked in. Offered us drinks while we looked at their menu. She was very knowledgeable about the dishes giving us suggestions that she thought it would be yummier (actually, everything seemed deli we couldn't decide). Once we ordered it didn't take long to enjoy our food and it was just as yummy as it looks. Fresh ingredients for sure! We certainly would be back!“

“Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.“

Love all the small dish options, feels like I could come here multiple times a week and not get tired of the food given the variety. I recommend the mapo tofu, king pao chicken, sweet tomato and egg, and eggplant. The mini buns are nice snack for the kids too. We make our own rice at home and pair with 5-6 of these sides. Feeds a family of 4 for about $25-30! Not a big space inside so gets a little cramped during busy hours.“

The food is plentiful, the service is good and the staff is very accommodating. For the amount of food they provide, the prices are EXCELLENT! “Great value for good food. All food is paid for by weight except items from the menu, like won ton soup. The soup is just ok but the made to order Mongolian cooked right in front of you is great for the price. You can make it however you like. Lots of meat, vegetarian, with or without noodles and hot off the grill. So hot that we usually bring it home to eat and it’s still so piping hot we have to let it sit for a moment. There’s always left overs!
The buffet food is good as well.
My kids enjoy making their own bowls.

Reminded me of the Korean Chinese food I have when I go to Korea. The noodles in both their black bean noodles and spicy seafood noodle soup were delicious. “A hidden gem: this small, un-flashy restaurant is in a weirdly-shaped traffic-island/mini-mall in the worst intersection in the world (Fairfax/Olympic/SanVicente), next to a Dunkin's and a liquor store. But the food is unreal: everything I've tried there is pitch-perfect, from the wide variety of dumplings to the salads, noodles, and fried foods. Our family includes two foodie adults, an increasingly adventurous 11-year-old, and a very unadventurous 4-year-old, and this is one of the few places that all four of us absolutely love. Particular favorites include the soup dumplings, potstickers, popcorn shrimp, chow mein, pork buns, and napa cabbage salad, but really everything is good. The noodles have that smoky wok hei flavor, the dumplings are perfectly balanced and textured, even the popcorn shrimp and chicken are expertly seasoned and fried. The space is basic but pleasant and calm. The owners are friendly and helpful, but in a subtle and quiet way, they're not going to hover over your table and make lots of small talk. They've been very patient with our younger kid, who can be kind of noisy. We love this place; it's much better than some of the flashier and more expensive places in the west 3rd st. area a few blocks north.“

“Best steam table Chinese I've ever had. The only lady behind the counter was efficient with the line that was in there.

Bbq pork was tender and delicious, grab some hot mustard. The orange chicken is something we don't usually order but was great here, still crunchy. Egg foo young was made fresh to order and surprisingly wonderful, airy and the best use of water chestnuts I've seen. The lady even chopped it up for us with a huge cleaver so it was easier to eat. The fried rice has chunks of bbq pork and egg and the chow mein had chicken and egg. They have both Sriracha and chili oil. It was enough food for two plus leftovers

It's been open for forty years and is inside a cute, kitchy building. Parking lot is tiny and one way, enter from KFC around the corner“

I tried their new Kung Pao Chicken, and wow--it's a must-order. The balance of spice, crunch, and just the right amount of sweetness made it one of the best versions I've had anywhere in LA.

Of course, the classics here never disappoint. The dumplings are tender, juicy, and packed with flavor; the spicy beef noodle soup has that rich, comforting broth with just the right kick; and their fried rice is so good you could happily eat it on its own or alongside everything else.
