“My husband and I spent our birthday dinner here in the Victorian house basement of this restaurant and had a wonderful meal. We ordered the chicken entree and the steak. We split the salad, had wine and a hot fudge sundae for dessert. It was delicious, wine was fabulous and the restaurant is cozy and quiet. Would come again!“
“Excellent service all around, starting with prompt responses to my questions over text message, to a warm welcome when we arrived and attentive service from all the staff throughout our dining experience. All the dishes we ordered were amazing; from the raw and grilled oysters, salads, to the sandwiches/entrees and hand crafted cocktails/drinks, everything was delicious. What a gem in this neighborhood! Definitely recommend, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion. We had such a great time for my birthday.“
“We had a wonderful dinner last night. We tried everything from the snacks to the deserts. All pasta dishes were outstanding. The pork chop was excellent. And the dessert sampler is the way to go. Our service, from the owner, to the wine steward to the server were all great. Hope to return soon.“

“Nice selection of ciders and very friendly owners with a small but inviting taproom. We've had their Honey Sage, Peach & Lemon Verbena, and Hibiscus Mint at other local breweries and really enjoyed them, so decided to stop in upon learning that they had a taproom. We got a flight of their Puns n Roses, Zin, Ginger Peppercorn, Arkansas Black, Nehou Normal, and Jonathan, of which we liked the first two. Also got a bottle to go of their Coffee Chaff and Bourbon Barrel, which was very different from any of the other ciders we tried. We had a good time and look forward to coming back!“
“Love how elegant they've made this basement space - it's always a nice respite from the outside world. Enjoy their flights and great beer selection, and the popcorn is always tasty. Peer into the heart of deliciousness with the sous vide cheesecake, made of goat cheese with graham cracker crumbs and Irish whiskey dulce de leche. Quite tasty! But I admit, I was sad to see it served in jar form versus a slice. I probably should have guessed that from the "sous vide," huh?“

“Flight delayed equals wine flights. Am I right? Yep, our flight was delayed by a ton in terminal one. So we decided to check Vino Volo out. We tried the red and white wine flights. I love how they have this option. It's great for indecisive people like me. Had to enjoy some meats and cheese of course. Our server was awesome and attentive. Such a great way to end a beautiful weekend. Ambiance is obviously loud af.“
“BJ the owner is very nice. The pizza is awesome. We have had the garlic chicken and the 11 toppings. Both are very good. The pizza crust is soft and warm but crispy on the bottom. Service is usually pretty quick. Definitely a great pizza and happy to support a local business.“
“Vinum is one of the best places to hang out or go on a date any night. We went there on Friday and met Henry, our server. He was super nice and attentive. Henry went over the menu with us and recommended a few drinks. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The prices were decent, and the portions were good for sharing. The restaurant wasn't noisy, and there was a good view near the window. Henry always checked on us and was very friendly. Even though Friday was a busy night for him, he still constantly checked on our table to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the place and the service so much that we came back on Tuesday night. We met Henry again, and once again, he gave us excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this place for the food, drinks, ambience, and of course, the customer service. Check them out if you're undecided on where to go for a date night!“
“Excellent service and food. I had some with capers and a lemon sauce. Yummy! And since I can't eat dairy, they cooked it with olive oil. That's never been offered anywhere else. Mixed vegetables and roasted potatoes very good. Most restaurants undercook the carrots in mixed vegetables --they don't care that carrots take longer. But Il Porcino gets it right. Portions are just right. Great service and nice to have owner serve us. My husband loved his lamb chops too.“
“Nice little gem in Hayward, owner was very friendly and in the business for 30+ years, nice to visit a local tasting room from grapes just up in the hayward hills! Reasonably priced and I got a free bottle with a purchase of a full priced bottle.“
