“This is my very favorite place to eat in the Bay Area. My husband and I always feel like we are absolute criminals when we eat here because we don't believe there can actually be food this good. Everything is perfect in this place, from the drinks, to the apps, to the coffee at the end of the meal. Definitely eat here. When you are done and on the way home, you will feel thrilled and victorious like you have stolen your own car!“
“What used to be a Mexican restaurant called “Judy’s Place’ in town to the locals couple years back now is called ‘Crockett Cocina’. This place and food is outstanding. I was browsing yelp and saw this on my radar. I had to check it out in person to see based on their ratings. I arrived here with my dad for an early dinner date. Street parking is available. Though the space is small, the place is clean. They provide indoor and outdoor seating. This is a family owned restaurant from the looks and how they act around their customers. I give my props to the chefs, they sure know how to cook it up haha! The pasta was filling and the bread that came with it was soft & crispy. The HouseMade Cioppino with the bread to dip in was to die for lol. And the churros was quite a lot but homemade makes it special! Churros we’re soft and crunchy, came with chocolate & caramel syrup, strawberry, and vanilla ice cream. Overall, the food was great, I’m sure I’ll be back for another visit!“
“We finally visited the sacred birthplace of "Californian Cuisine"! We were at the cafe which is lively and beautiful. The dishes are refreshing, on the lighter side. The use of citrus in salad and even the meyer lemons bits in the sauce topping on chicken brighten the whole meal. The dish that hit me the most though is the personal size chocolate cake. You need to order in advance with $25 price tag but it is worth trying. You can taste the quality right there! Next time we would like to come trying the full experience for a special occasion :)“
“Been living in Crockett for some time now and this was our first time here. If you're looking for a refreshing, piled on, delicious sandwich... you've got to come to Lucia's!!! ?Great and friendly customer service. Best time to come is mid morning and mid afternoon so you'll miss the breakfast and lunch rush.We had the prosciutto, apple wood smoked ham, and mortadella sandwiches... YUMMY!!!“
“Great Mexican brunch place. I've been here several times, and have had the chilaquiles, blueberry pancakes, chorizo scrambled eggs, breakfast tacos, and breakfast burrito. All were exceptional. Friendly service, low key atmosphere. I will be back again -- and again.Vegetarian options: Veggie hash; pancakes; waffles“
“Guys, these Spicy Fries are UN-BEELIEVABLE!!An extra on the sides menu - wow, these are some VERY special spicy fries - glazed and sweet and spicy and crunchy and perfect! And they are unique to this place! But I have a feeling this kind of special chefs recipe will be imitated elsewhere very soon.R&R is also an excellent place, very simple, great local cozy diner style place, you could bring the whole family, my kids loved it, their tortilla omelette, and their homemade corned beef hash breakfasts were amazing - kids keep begging me to come back. But the real star were these fries, wow. And it's very clear that the family running this business is highly invested in everything there. Great spirit, very attentive, warm service, great place - R&R, Rivera & Ruiz, you've made our family's favorite local Richmond breakfast and lunch (brunch) spot, we'll be back, often I'm sure (craving those fries already!).“
“I was a huge fan of Delirama, my absolute favorite sandwich was the Delirama Mama, so I was sad to hear the owner was going to pivot in a new direction. I prefer take out to dining in, so I waited for that to be an option, and put my order in today. I got a fried chicken sandwich and the pastrami Reuben, both with chips. The menu says a small salad is served with the sandwiches. The fried chicken sandwich is HUGE and delicious. I prefer my fried chicken to be a little on the dark side, which this was. I only wished there were more pickles, but that's because if I could subsist on pickles I would. The Reuben was the same as the Delirama one. My husband was bummed it was "so small," but that's because I used to get the biggest sandwich option and this one is the regular sized one.The chips were yummy, and still warm from the fryer by the time I got home. Or had just taken on some of the radiant heat from my sandwich. Either way, delightful. The salad is not small, it is quite generous in size. The dressing is a little sweet and a lot acidic, which I really enjoyed. My one complaint is that it was overdressed for me, but I prefer the minimum amount of dressing.I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it was a bit dark inside for me.“
“Very delicious food! I would definitely recommend coming here anytime of the day. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner is amazing and they have a variety. The service is fast and the waiters and waitresses are very attentive. The location is a small hole in the wall. It's very delicious and would recommend to stop by and try!“
“This is a top tier Berkeley brunch spot! The food was great and I was amazed at how efficient the staff was, especially since this place is busy busy busy! All the food I tried was amazing. The churro waffles were so good: crispy and generously coated in sugar and cinnamon with fresh fruit and ice cream! The short rib hash was soooo good. The meat was so flavorful and tender. We were here for a birthday and they even gave us a birthday treat for the celebrant (MORE churro waffles! 2 pcs) What impressed me most was how efficient the staff ran this place! The line was super long - but don't be intimidated. The line is to place your order at a counter, then you take your order number and find a seat. The staff was helpful in getting us sat. The food comes out super fast after that. Would highly recommend this place!“
“I visited the restaurant before the renovation and, despite having a retro decor, wasn’t impressed by the food. This time around, under new ownership and renovation, I was pleasantly surprised. First, food was really good. Huge portions, homemade personalized cooking. I hope it stays the same way, there are a lot of seafood items I’d like to try. I got seafood risotto, it was really good; husband got a huge calzone and said it was amazing.Ambiance is lovely, live piano adds to the charm.Lastly, service was good. Will be back!“
“Excellent restaurant with a truly remarkable atmosphere and top-notch food. The drinks and the salad were truly outstanding, whereas the burgers and fish were very good but not superlative. Next time we visit, probably will stick to the small plates, which may be the best dishes at an already excellent restaurant. Great for dates and fancy nights out.“
“Came here after searching for a brunch spot after some shopping with my mom. I can't believe I had never been here. The service was wonderful and there are a lot of seating options. It was a cold day but we stayed warm under the heaters. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious! We can't wait to come back for lunch!“
“We went to the Beer pairing night Thursday and as always, service was fabulous, food was exquisite and the beer paired perfectly with each course. I normally don't drink beer but the way it was paired worked so well. Such a lovely evening.“
“Been going here since I was a child. Top 3 burger joint for me. Everything here is great. Only downside is the price. It's gotten expensive. Can't blame them for that tho.. Everything has gotten expensive.Parking: You can park somewhere on Parker or try to get away with parking in the liquor store parking lot.“
“Saturday review, so beignets available! The best beignets I've had since I moved to California, but still not quite as good as New Orleans. The Workshop is basically a takeout window, but there are a couple of outside tables, so hopefully you can sit and have your coffee and beignets popping hot.“
“This place was amazing. Awesome location with excellent views of the bay! Food was exceptional. The raw milk cheese bread was unique and scrumptious. Then we had the rib eye and branzino with the creamed spinach. We loved everything! Portions were big too. Can't wait to go back!“
“Duo Grill is my go-to brunch spot in town. The food is excellent! My favorites are the Hash Brown Hill, the Salmon Scrambler and the Corned Beef Hash. I always leave so satisfied and excited for my next meal. The staff are all incredibly attentive and kind. Love this spot so much!“
“We came here for a business lunch, we had reservations at 11:30am. They were quick & easy to make online. It just opened, so it wasn't too busy, but you can see they get packed closer to 12-1230pm. We sat right at the window table. The view was amazing. The service since we walked in was great. Everyone smiled & greeted us. The waitress was great at her job. I really wish I had remembered her name. She interacted with the table, and it was a pleasure to have her serve us. The bussers made sure our plates were cleared & were on top of refilling drinks. We had the prawns & Bruschetta bread as appetizers, delicious! We had the special, which I believe was a spinach noodle w/sausage, mushrooms & tomatoes. It was really good too! Overall, I would definitely visit again!“
“Small, cozy cafe, very friendly service, very good coffee, very abundant and tasty dishes, huge and delicious biscuits... The best of all? Prices are very affordable! I will be backParking: Parking behind the restaurant with plenty of spaces availableKid-friendliness: Family atmosphere“
“Went to brunch at this place a few days ago. It offers a good price, to quality/quantity ratio for breakfast and lunch. We sat outside on a partly sunny day, and they allowed us to have our dogs by the table.Mimosas were good, and I had the French toast while others in my party had the Alameda and classic eggs Benedict. Everything was very well executed if somewhat unadventurous. This is the type of place I would take my parents to who want a comfortable experience, quality and straight forward menu“
“The most unpretentious high end dining experience in the area. The venue is quaint with seating for about 20. Great choice of music playing softly in the background. I loved the husband/wife team approach. They seem to have the timing of everything really dialed in. They were both very pleasant and took turns serving the guests. The food was very good although the cheese plate with a huge slab of brioche bread was not my favorite course. My favorite dish was the morel with caviar. I also really enjoyed the carbonated pears. I recommend that you give it a shot. I will most likely dine there again.Parking: The parking lot is shared by the other businesses and can get pretty filled up.“
“I wish I could give more than five stars. I reached out to Tonya to see if we could get pizza making lessons with a small group of friends (because the pizza at Anaviv's Table is so good). Tonya was enthusiastic and flexible about helping me set up the event. The event was run by Darren with help from Siyoon. Darren was patient, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable. He guided us through every step of the process, giving us tips and tricks along the way, and by the end we had both a lot of pizzas to enjoy right then and plenty of dough to bring home to make more ourselves. Siyoon helped everything run smoothly so that we could all have a good time, and as a parting gift, gave us each a saffron lemon bar to take home with us.My wife and I have always enjoyed visiting Anaviv's Table in all of its incarnations. We're excited about how they continue to grow, and just so impressed by everyone on their staff.Thank you!“
“This place has an amazing menu, served in record time by the friendliest staff. We have been going here for years and have never left less than satisfied. Their bad days are better than good days for most placesKid-friendliness: My kids love this place.“
“The first thing I noticed is that this quaint little spot was immaculate. The service was friendly and the food was great. As a staff person was about to mop the floor, he took the time to ask if we needed to use the restroom before he started. It was a simple gesture but thoughtful. Customer service is becoming a lost art so it's refreshing to experience.“
“Great brunch place! The Lama Special is great: two eggs, two pancakes (with butter and maple syrup), bacon and some fruit (price: $15 + taxes). It was very tasty, and the pancakes were especially soft. The food was ready very quickly! Even though the kitchen is open, the place does not smell thickly of food.“
“Ok so I had the tower of waffle, a biscuit with sausage gravy and the braised brisket. The waffles were really tasty but I was disappointed in the size and cost of the dish (looked different than the menu pictures). The biscuit was ok but the sausage gravy to me was subpar in flavor and bits. The brisket was tasty but again didn't say to me I'd make another trip back for it. The staff was great, the ambience was ok the place was small and parking took a few minutes. They did however have a huge Christmas stripper pole in the middle of the place.Parking: This place is small, they have a parklet which takes up parking spots. Being a small place there can be a line after you wait for parking, I recommend walking or biking in.“
“Cute restaurant with pretty dishes but the taste is a bit bland (not spicy) for Mexican food, quite oily, and it seems that the 3 dishes we ordered had some sugar or sweetener (they were a bit sweet instead of spicy, making this feel more "Americanized"). The food was good, just not what I typically prefer.“
“This is the best burger in maybe the whole world. Incredibly hospitable owners and consistent top quality. I live in Canada and often come to Richmond for work…this is ALWAYS and will ALWAYS BE my first stop when I get to town.Highly HIGHLY recommend!!!“
“Got a craving for a chili cheese dog?? Well look no further! Chars has the best Dawgs in Solano County! The Gem of the Tannery Building downtown, they offer every kinda hotdog flavor combo you could dream up! They have burgers too but for me it's all about the hotdogs and fries!Parking: Free street parking and parking at the Benicia Green.Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love a hotdog!“
“Me and a few friends went out 'bar hopping' - I'm sober personally - I had asked for a cup of coffee truly not expecting much at all.I shared with my best friend beside me and we talked about it all night. I don't say this lightly ~It was the best cup of coffee I have ever had~“
“EVERYTHING is sooooo good! And she makes the BEST impossible burgers! So delicious you don't even realize it's NOT real meat! One of my FAVORITE go to places! The owner is so sweet and makes sure you leave happy and full! ?Wheelchair accessibility: I'm disabled and have no issues getting in and out.“
“I’m a local and I’ve been here several times in the weeks since it opened, and I've enjoyed the experience each time. I’ve had two different sandwiches for lunch — the Pesto and the Chipotle, both of them fresh and tasty — and a good sesame bagel with cream cheese for breakfast (to go). The place itself is light and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful, and parking looks really easy (but I walked). Highly recommended!“
“Had brunch with my wife here because they just opened up in Albany. We shared the scone, I ordered the Chilaquiles and my wife ordered the breakfast sopes.Everything was delicious and food came out in good timing. The staff was also attentive and gave us space to eat and chat.Would come here again! We also ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich and the Chicken Gordita to-go. Also super tasty! Really though, try this place out yourself!Update: Feb 11, 2024Went back for lunch with my wife to try different items on the brunch menu. Wife got the Mt.Tam Potatoes, I got the banana French toast (both served in a generous serving size). We couldn't help ourselves so we got a scone to share, a blueberry pancake and a banana pancake with fried chicken on the side.Everything came out timely and tasted amazing. Consistency is something we feel demonstrates whether a restaurant has their stuff down or not. Second time ordering the scone was not a disappointment. The service was also consistent, they were readily available but we didn't feel rushed. We will continue coming here!“
“Such a cool treasure! The location is a historical neighborhood with a view of San Pablo Bay and train line.Staff were fun, engaging and welcoming.Wish we had 3 more hours to take in all the tchotchkes and historical pieces. The Warehouse is a rare and special gem.“
“If you are in the mood for Mac and cheese, this is where it's at! First timer here, the hubby and I ordered the crab Mac, they went heavy on the crab which we loved! The crunchy crumbles on the top made it savory for each bite! Super friendly and welcoming soon as we entered in, it was kid friendly with a sheik spin to it. Good vibes.“
“Marc and team catered our wedding at the Brazilian Room, and we were extremely happy with both the planning process and the food/support on the day itself. The Arlington team are clearly pros at working in the Brazilian room - and had everything set up quickly and efficiently day-of - even though we had a shorter evening slot. The food was very good (especially the grilled salmon and pesto pasta) - everyone went back for seconds and we got many compliments! Marc was transparent and easy to work with throughout, and we thought pricing was reasonable compared to other vendors we looked at. Would highly recommend!!“
“Turkey no melt. It was so delicious! The bread was toasted to perfection, crunch in every bite with the taste of melted butter. Thick slices of seasoned turkey and fresh avocado. The fries were just as tasty. Hot and crispy. Fast and polite service. I have to come back now for their breakfast.“
“Glorified fast food for me. Cafeteria style ordering and get your food at the counter when they call your name. My bf loved his cold sandwich and my grilled veggie panini was only ok. Mozzarella, avo, tomatoes, and bread. No seasoning to speak of. I ordered fries for $2.50 extra and wasn't offered ketchup. What is that weird batter they coat fries with now a days? It's supposed to be an old fashioned deli style establishment per its namesake, plus the Marilyn Monroe decor. I had to go to the counter several times to grab napkins, salt, and ketchup to tolerate the bland and messy food. I would visit again in a pinch but probably get a cold sandwich and pass on the fries.Vegetarian options: Mostly meat. No meat alternatives but you could build your own veggie sandwich or get the bland panini.“
“We like this restaurant. Great view and classic but romantic place. My husband asked the server’ favorite and ordered salmon pasta. If you like salmon, it is good. My order was fish and chips and it was good! But I did not like coleslaw, sorry! Anyway I will try other meal next time. We will be back.“
“I know thee owner and have been there alot as I grew up in pinole a block my wife worked there it was her first job . We love the corn dogs there as well as the sundae that is to die for . That said come to fosters u will be quite satisfied.Parking: Easy and closeKid-friendliness: No play structure but is kid environment friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“We mainly come here for their $1 Taco Tuesdays, which are excellent and better than a lot of the restaurant tacos which cost a lot more. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, and if you're not a beer drinker soft drink or coffee refills are plentiful. One semi-negative is that I don't think their Thursday special "Big Max" is as good as the Mickey D's variety. Haven't tried their weekend breakfast yet but on the menu it looks good.“
“Gotta give props to Curbside Kitchen and their flavorful Filipinx inspired burgers! Love how they are representing the PI culture and their food truck is conveniently available next to Armistice Brewery, which has great ambiance. Perfect food pairing with beer! The owners are nice and it took about 10 min for them to whip up my signature Curbside burger, which has Tocino (Filipino bacon) and it was absolutely delicious and filling. The beef patty was hot and flavorful, the brioche bun was a nice bite, the pickled veggies gave a nice acid pop to tickle the tastebuds- everything was hot and fresh and the portion was just enough. Will try their lumpia and other items when I'm back - they also do catering with an extended menu!“
“Great staff with great service at all times....I got a fresh made to order 8pc after 11pm on a Sunday that's excellent service and was not expected at all, thought it was too late, glad I asked ? fresh and fried halal chicken, taste/quality/service all ?“
“This restaurant is another hideaway gem. Located @the corner of 4th and Gilman the outside is nothing spectacular.Victoria and her staff are pleasant and attentive. I enjoy the homey Mom & Pop atmosphere.Food is really good and the prices are reasonable especially if you are a senior citizen on a budget. The menu is not extensive but appears to cover anyone's palate. I bring friends here all the time. I usually come on Sundays but have had occasions to eat here during the week.Give the place a try. You will not regret it!“
“Got there at 9:30 am to try their breakfast burritos, which I thought are clever by having a over easy egg instead of scrambled inside. The place was clean, and the service was friendly. I had no idea what I wanted but settled for the Little Mule Burrito. It should have dawned on me while speaking Spanish to the cashier, he told me it was a very good burrito. While it looked and tasted great, the heat was insane that early in the morning. Not only do you have pickled jalapenos, but you also have a Chipotle aioli that is sure to burn your esophagus. You've been warned, because I wasn't. Enjoy“
“Good food. The younger girl spilled the smoothie all over the cup. Didn’t wipe it. And then tried to have me carry it. I almost ruined my outfit. I won’t be back for a while. Girl with the ponytail with highlights. Then they forget my raspberry bar. And when I TURN AROUND ALMOST 15 MINS AWAY TO GET IT, the young boy says “Did you forget your bar?” Like no. YOU guys forgot it. Never handed it to me. Nothing. They need to do better. Seriously.“
“They catered a prayer breakfast at our church on 8/26/23. They arrived early to set up. Plenty of grits, bacon, pancakes, eggs, fruit, and beverages. We had plenty to take home afterward. Fairly priced. Friendly staff. Caterer willing to travel. I am looking forward to using them again for future events.“
“I got the club sandwich and it was surprisingly really good! The waitress also suggested a cup of peaches, i had no idea i wanted that and it was good as well. Sadly i wanted the french dip or the American dip but they were out of french rolls but that just means i can come back and enjoy it another time. Cool American diner.“
“This is the original place that has been at Richmond for 20 years. The building was sold so they have now moved to this sports bar. The food is still the same great flavor, just perfect in every way. There are a lot more indoor seating as well and you have more drinks option as it is in a bar.“
“Salmon Fettuccine is a sure fire hit. Was a bit noisy and it hampered communication with the waitress, they also have no printed menu they want you to scan one of them silly square barcode things which I don't have the barcode reader on my phone. It was late at night and raining but did peak at the outdoor area and felt some brunch on a bright sunny mid-morning would rock. But then leaving I saw a sign on the door no refunds because of the bees, leaves, flies n mosquitoes.. must be pretty bad if they had to post that.“
