“Two days later and I'm still thinking about the shukaquiles, I don't think I'll ever forget it. It was delicious! “This is a top go to spot for me. I’m not always around during their hours, or forget the options of places, so I get something from here about once every 6 weeks. As vegan I either get the falafel sandwich or plate. I prefer the plate. It amazes me how simple the combination of vegetables and sauces are, and yet it’s so flavorful. I feel full and healthy after eating at this joint and the people working there have such a nice vibe. If vegan they will swap out hummus for the yogurt based items.“

“Everyone here is so nice! My coffee is always perfect and delicious. I literally saw the barista remove ice from my drink so that she could pour the last bit of my espresso shot into my cup! I told her as a former barista at another coffee shop I appreciated her commitment to making sure I got what I paid for. I will continue to go here because they're awesome. They also have this delicious hazelnut chocolate pastry...OMG🤤“

“Looking to beat the heat so we headed to Berkeley for lunch. Got the Pastrami Ruskie with Latke. Sooooo good. Huge portions. Friendly service. They were out of Prosecco so they couldn’t make me their Old Man & The Deli. Got a margarita and it was both tasty & packed a punch.“

I ordered a lunch for 12 this week. The owner Joe, prepared a wonderful array a food: Dolmas, the best I have ever eaten, hummus, salad, chicken kabobs, beef and lamb sliced meat, rice and... amazing baklavas.
Everything was amazingly delicious! I picked it up and the owner Joe, had everything ready for me.

“This is the best Indian food you can get in Berkeley! (Even better than Viks) We got the Vada Pav, Masala Chai and Donne Biryani. Everything tasted great and authentic! Vada pav reminded me of homemade ones in Bombay. Owner was very nice and welcoming. We are definitely coming back for sure!“

“Such delicious boba tea!! The staff was incredibly helpful—we brought our kids and they helped us figure out what would be appropriate drinks to give them (no caffeine, no sugar level but added sweetness from the fruit). Great prices, too!

“The place is wheelchair accessible the lady that works there is so friendly she made sure everything is great!
The eggplant dish really good! It was perfectly spice I love it! My boyfriend had a wonton soup and we shared an appetizer shrimp everything was excellent! Will definitely come back!

“Best espresso of any of the highwire locations I have been too. It is a darker roast than I like, but they have a great recipe so it doesn't get sour or bitter. My only complaint, not enough seats, then again it is in a plant store, not a standalone shop, which leads to some amusing scenarios with entitled people like the scene I saw. So don't wonder far from the stand even if there is a line.
An upper middle class woman took a drink, sipped from it AND THEN ASKED "is this the oat latte for Sarah?" They called out the name of the drink and the person who it was for, CAPPUCCINO FOR JOYCE. Who takes a sip from a drink and then ask if it is yours. They did not apologize, making excuses, and saying oops is not an apology. This after having taken a sip from it. I would have charged her for it if I worked in that stand.
But the baristas there are super nice and friendly, even answering my questions about their espresso ratio etc. would“

“Just had my 3rd dining experience this morning and all 3 breakfast meals have been fantastic! As a person on the carnivore diet, I find it refreshing I can order an all protein meal and be completely satiated without paying an arm and a leg. Eggs were scrambled perfectly and the bacon was delicious. And who could have thought a simple burger patty could taste so good. Must be a magic griddle! Highly recommend! Oh, and service is amazing. My Americano was tasty!“

“I ordered delivery through GrubHub and it is fantastic! Their Thai fresh rolls come with an excellent peanut sauce that has a nice kick to it that enhances the flavor profile. They were awesome and substituted carrots for the eggplant in my green chicken curry which was fresh and flavorful.“

“Sunshine Smoothies & Coffee is a bright spot in my hectic day. I love having my morning coffee while looking over the Napa River or a fresh smoothie/fresh squeezed juice when I don’t have time to grab breakfast at home. The owner, Carlos, is a gem. “Four of us went for dinner on Monday night. We all enjoyed our food! We had the Salmon with Vegetables, Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and fries, Caesar Salad, Taco Salad with added chicken, and shared two desserts, the Chocolate Cake and the crème brûlée Cheesecake. It was fresh and delicious. Our waiter was super friendly, accommodating, and attentive! The inside, where we sat, looked super clean. Will definitely be returning!“

“Hal’s is IMO the best cafe in Albany - all the baristas not only serve beautiful, delicious oat cappuccinos but they also create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes u want to stick around. If you’re lucky they’ll be brewing a fresh batch of chai and your nose will wonder if you’ve died and gone to heaven.“

Sometimes you meet someone that just takes your breath away and Ena was that person. This is definitely a winery to visit. Foolish wine will not disappoint.“

The seating is only outdoors & is limited but it is a spot deserving of your business. Fast service & fantastic food & drink in a beautiful spot — what more could you ask for?“
