“Our family hosted a 62nd Bday party at the lovely Zaiqa Indian and Pakistani Restaurant Banquet Hall. This place truly deserves 5 star plus rating. Excellent experience dealing with the restaurant owner Ron. All of his staff made us feel very welcomed and were very accommodating during our event. Food was very delicious and our guests complimented it very highly. Would highly recommend this place for it's authentic Indian/Pakistani food!!“

I told her as a former barista at another coffee shop I appreciated her commitment to making sure I got what I paid for. I will continue to go here because they're awesome. “This was the BEST food I've had in years. I sat there and literally closed my eyes so I could savor the experience and feel ever morsel move through my body. We had the Richmond Roll and the Pink Lady. The vegetarian options are so delicious that I am going to go back over and over again just to try everything on the menu. I literally stopped my conversation because I was having such a spiritual experience with the food. I could not focus on anything other than enjoying it. The customer service was incredible. The staff was so friendly and kind. The presentation of the dishes is immaculate. I felt like I was getting a Michelin star quality meal.

“Really great acai bowl spot that is along I-80 freeway. The staff was nice, and they flavor/texture of acai was so good. I ordered a small bowl traditional bowl and added mango and peanut butter. Bowl was 5/5 and the peanut butter deserves its own shoutout! Street parking is available, but we had no issue finding parking. They have some seating inside and a couple picnic tables outside. This place is in my top 3 acai bowl spots in the bay area!“

“This is the best Indian food you can get in Berkeley! (Even better than Viks) We got the Vada Pav, Masala Chai and Donne Biryani. Everything tasted great and authentic! Vada pav reminded me of homemade ones in Bombay. Owner was very nice and welcoming. We are definitely coming back for sure!“

“This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in the East Bay. So I and my friends keep coming back. The dishes are really well done, and the portions are quite good too. While, it can get a little noisy when it’s full, most of the time it’s OK. I particularly love the corn cheese fritters, the jumbo garlic, shrimp, the exquisite, coconut soup, and the ginger dish. The wait staff have been universally considerate and excellent.“

“Best espresso of any of the highwire locations I have been too. It is a darker roast than I like, but they have a great recipe so it doesn't get sour or bitter. My only complaint, not enough seats, then again it is in a plant store, not a standalone shop, which leads to some amusing scenarios with entitled people like the scene I saw. So don't wonder far from the stand even if there is a line.

An upper middle class woman took a drink, sipped from it AND THEN ASKED "is this the oat latte for Sarah?" They called out the name of the drink and the person who it was for, CAPPUCCINO FOR JOYCE. Who takes a sip from a drink and then ask if it is yours. They did not apologize, making excuses, and saying oops is not an apology. This after having taken a sip from it. I would have charged her for it if I worked in that stand.
But the baristas there are super nice and friendly, even answering my questions about their espresso ratio etc. would“

“You have to go at least once. I like the staff and the bar is close to the water with good outdoor seating available. They have bar food but have a good dinner as well. During the warmer months, they had outdoor music on Sunday's, but the owner was talking about getting some full-time entrainment at some point.

Parking: Parking can be tough at times

“Just picked up my chicken soup this afternoon,my granddaughter wanted to go to the park,I ordered it over the phone and they said 10 minutes but we stayed at the park for. 45 minutes the soup and croissant was still hot not warm but hot my granddaughter loved the bread man lol“

As a person on the carnivore diet, I find it refreshing I can order an all protein meal and be completely satiated without paying an arm and a leg. Eggs were scrambled perfectly and the bacon was delicious. And who could have thought a simple burger patty could taste so good. Must be a magic griddle! Highly recommend! Oh, and service is amazing. Came with a little foil packet with I’m guessing pickled onion, carrot and a jalapeño, and a little cup of red and green salsa. Everything was fantastic, and I will be back again. Parking wasn’t too bad to find a spot, and there’s some tables outside for seating.“

“I've been here for a long time and for whatever reason my original review is not here. Nonetheless this place is amazing. A diamond hidden in the rough, an oasis for those who need a boba fix. It's a local store filled with anime goodies and is a TCG haven for Magic, Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh, and of course POKEMON! This is the place to be. There are different nights for specific TCG's and they have pokemon trade nights. I recommend joining the discord. Come by and enjoy a drink made by Em, or the guys talking about all the TCG's. The owners a nice guy to boot!“
