“The staff there is very nice. The restaurant is very clean inside and outside. The food is always at the right temperature. There's hardly ever any line in the drive-thru. Unfortunately it looks like they need more staff, there are very few employees working there. I believe the issue is a corporate issue and not local management issue. “Amboy is by far the best burger place I been in LA. I got their signature dry aged burger with fries. I found this place from a food guide website saying Amboy was ranked one of the top 5 burger place in LA. I truly agree with that.

When I went, they let me spin a wheel to get a promotion; you can get 10% off, 15% off, free fries, extra napkins, etc. I got super lucky it landed on a 50% off. I am not sure if they do this regularly or if that was during a special season.

However, I highly recommend everyone to come to Amboy for once. Get their signature dry aged burger. It is not a cheap burger, but it is definitely worth it.“

“Been wanting to try this place out being a burger afficianado and reading the reviews. It did not disappoint. I dont usually like to give to hipster spots in now gentrified areas they've invaded with attitudes they bring but, this place is a rule to that exception this time & their food is amazing here.
I went with the Goldburger (add+ Pastrami), Fries & Craft Soda (Ginger Ale).
Perfectly Juicy Burger without creating a soggy fall apart bun, which held its texture consistently thoughout and the juices did not overpower the flavorful meat, cheese & pastrami. The bun had a very nice clean taste and texture, a job well done they do here.
Restaurant, Tables, Floors, Sidewalk, Unisex Restroom very clean and didn't have any lame Pronoun Verbiage. Kitchen looked very clean.
Friendly, Helpful Staff want to please their guests. None seem lazy and they keep themselves busy with work.
DON'T FORGET TO TIP for their Service they earned.

“I recently stopped by Tam’s Burgers and had a solid overall experience. The menu is packed with variety—from classic burgers and fries to breakfast items, Mexican dishes, and even slushies. It’s a place where you can definitely satisfy a craving no matter what you’re in the mood for.

One of the standout positives is that they now accept EBT, which makes their food more accessible to everyone. The prices are reasonable considering the portions, most meals range from about $10 to $15. They also have combo options that include drinks, and the drink station is fully stocked with Pepsi products, frozen slushies, and soft-serve machines.

The interior is simple but clean, with a modern black tile floor and red booth seating. There’s plenty of space to sit and eat comfortably. The “Order Here” signage is clear, and there’s a solid system in place for taking orders.

Staff were efficient, though not overly friendly, which is fine, this place seems more about speed and quantity than sit-down service. Still, the food came out hot and fresh.

On to the food - Gourmet Carribean is a must try! the oxtails, jerk chicken, curry chicken, chick peas and the Friday special, Jerk Salmon. Everything I've tried is delicious. “I had the pleasure of having a OG smash burger yesterday for lunch. The burger was delicious and the staff and owner were friendly which added to the experience. Their original fries were also very good and a good sized portion. “The food is good but it is over priced. They charge you to add tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeño,.....etc. I got a double burger and because the meat is so thin you dont get full.
There is a small parking lot, parkinf can be challenging.
The treason I gave service 1 star because we never got greeted. We had to place our own order on the kiosk and even when the food was ready the workers were like robots. I think if the workers took half a second to greet each customer when they came in then it would be a better experience. Also, not everyone knows how to order on the kiosk machine and some people are visiualy impaired so I would suggest greeting the customer to make the experice better.“

“We were down in Hollywood for a play and found this great spot for dinner. Everything was very tasty. I had the Stout burger with onion rings. I will say thr onion rings were my favorite. Nice, thin cut onions, batter and perfectly fried to the perfect crisp. The burger had a great mix of flavors with caramelized onions, bleu cheese and horseradish sauce. My husband had a burger with an egg and enjoyed it with his nitro stout. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Thanks all for a great evening.“

“The Service: Pick up or delivery. You can order using the kiosk next to the counter. Super easy to use. I was so pleased to meet with Chef Angel in person. So down to earth!

The Food: They know how to make a killer burgers! Everything is made to order using fresh ingredients. I love how they put so much grilled onions on the burgers. The beef patties are very flavorful. Their special sauce definitely make it taste even better.

My favorite is definitely the Jalapeno Smash Burger! If you like spicy, you got to try this burger. It's colorful and a great kick for sure.

They are very generous with the portion especially the pastrami burger, half a pound!

“This place has amazing food! The flavor always hits the spot and it's perfect when you're craving a burger or some tasty chili cheese fries. They have tons of other menu options like salads, pastrami sandwiches, club sandwiches, and kids meals.

There is a lot of indoor seating as well as a drive-thru. The drive-thru takes a bit long because they prepare the food fresh - though it's a lot faster than other made-to-order fast food places with a drive-thru. I definitely recommend only using the drive-thru if you have the time to spare.

Still, one of the best burger joints in the area.“

“Pharos is seriously solid. The fried mushrooms were crispy and delicious—definitely worth trying. The turkey burger was on point too, juicy and packed with flavor.

I snagged a bite of my son’s breakfast burrito (he had it for dinner), and I totally get why it’s a favorite. It was super tasty and hit the spot.

The food is really good, the place is clean, and the service is quick. Plus, it’s owned by a super nice family, which makes it even better. Pharos is a spot I’ll definitely be coming back to.“

“Maaaaan if the burgers and fries didn’t hit as hard as they do, I’d say just pass on it but in complete honesty, they make delicious greasy spoon munchies. It’s literally just a walk-up counter, but they’re local favorites for a reason.

Downsides include how early they close, limited street parking, cold customer service (at times condescending), no dine-in service, horrible atmosphere since there’s no safe space for people to wait for their orders. Lastly, I think their prices are a bit too high for this area/financial climate… in my opinion of course.

“The place was solid. We had beef and turkey burger combos with regular and cajun fries. I added a 6 piece lemon pepper. It was a breaded wing, which typically I don't like, but this one was good. The owner (I think) and Mr. Robinson, were great to chat with while I wanted. Give these brothers a try.“

“OMG girlfriend!! I have searched the world for a burger that lives up to the burgers of my youth. Back in the day, in Australia, you would go the local fish and chip shop and order a 'burger with the lot'. It would come out of the bag looking like a hot mess, dripping in beef juice and melted mayonnaise and taste exactly like you would expect...like a mouthful of everything they had stuffed into the bun. Service? For L.A. staff, I actually got a smile, 5 stars. Atmosphere 5 stars?
