“Clean location and decent drive thru wait times. Only issue I've ever had Herr was missing a few items from my order... I had called and was told by a staff member to come back the next day and I could get my missing items ..well I didn't get that man's name unfortunately but upon going to the window and talking to the manager, she rudely told me to next time get the staff members name... excuse me??? YOU forgot to put my items in my bag so maybe next time remember to give me my items so I won't have to come all the way back over the next day. And it was under $5 worth of items so it shouldn't have been as big of an issue as it was made. OTHER than that I've never had an issue here and the restaurant is very clean..so I give the place 5 stars ..and that manager 1 star“

I did a burger tour around LA last month when I was in town. This place barely made my list of the 5 places I narrowed it down to, and boy am I glad it did. It was the best burger I had during the trip.

I don't know if it's something in the beef blend they're using or if it's just the combo of grilled onions, that sauce, and those beautiful smashed patties, but it managed to be so much more than the sum of its parts. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Bravo.

My wife had the reuben, which was also great. This is the burger I'd eat again if I went back to LA.“

“Pharos is seriously solid. The fried mushrooms were crispy and delicious—definitely worth trying. The turkey burger was on point too, juicy and packed with flavor.

I snagged a bite of my son’s breakfast burrito (he had it for dinner), and I totally get why it’s a favorite. It was super tasty and hit the spot.

The food is really good, the place is clean, and the service is quick. Plus, it’s owned by a super nice family, which makes it even better. Pharos is a spot I’ll definitely be coming back to.“

“Great place. From the east coast, was in the area (Glendale). I heard through colleagues this had a great burger. Silver lake is a wonderful out of LA location.
I ordered The-Fix burger. Great tasting burger, perfectly cooked medium, with all the accrutchiments. Taste beefy & tender. Canr with some perfectly cooked, buttery fries. Only drawback, I think, there is too much buns for the burger. it overwhelms it. Great place overall.“

“Great diner. Eat here a few times for breakfast. It's on the ground floor of the Hotel Normandie. The restaurant didn't open until 9am so I wasn't able to get an early coffee. Luckily there's a donut shop directly across the street for the early morning caffeine fix.
The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. Even with the group of us that had been waiting at the door at 9am. The food was delicious. Basic diner food. Eggs,pancakes, burgers, etc. Eggs are cooked perfectly and I added the hash browns. Totally recommend the hash browns, so good. I also had yogurt, fruit, and granola dish. A big portion of fruit and the yogurt was fresh and delicious. Fries and burgers are also very good. Nice place if you're in the area. Prices and food are good. The staff are all very friendly.“

“I give it a five just because this place is just for comfort and convenience. It's a regular hole in the wall that we grew up eating. Service is chill, food is as regular as any other hole in the wall. But like I said, it's just what we have come to know and respect.“

Favorite is Blue Chip Combo meal. Love the crew here. Always accommodating and patient with us. Makes our day happy and food is consistent. Burgers and breakfast delicious too.

Parking: Always busy but never disappointed with our food. Best to call in your orders ahead so they are ready by the time you get to intercom. Just tell them your name and your picking up your orders. Love the fried Zucchini and fries too.

“I came back from Universal Studios on Friday night. My child wanted to eat an in & out burger. At around 12 o'clock, there was a long queue at the in & out near Universal. I saw something was wrong and went straight home. When I passed the Pasadena branch, there was still a long queue. I looked at the time. It was already after one o'clock and we quickly looked for the nearest Rosemead branch. When we arrived, it was almost closed, but the clerk came out and asked people one by one to register the purchase quantity. Our third car was lucky enough to get the food quickly. The burgers and fries were good, and my daughter's. The vanilla milkshake is very sweet, but fortunately our lemon juice tastes good, you can add water!“
