“I read good reviews so we thought would go and give a try. Well the family and I had fantastic meal. My husband had a goat fish and said was very flavorful and tasty. For the kids (8, 11)we got a mild Lamb Korma and Butter chicken. With these I confirmed that they would be mild enough for the kids. The butter chicken and lamb korma even though was ordered as mild (no spice at all to it) it had an absolutely amazing flavor to it- perfect for kids. Now I have had a lot of butter chicken and hands down this was the best I have ever had. The chicken fried rice we ordered was very tasty as well. Highlight for my husband was the beer from India. He said it was very nice and complimented the food nicely.“

“The Ria is one of the best pizza spots in southern California. Their Detroit Style pan pizzas are one of a kind. I recently tried their seasonal Peach pizza - it had the perfect balance of flavor, and something you wouldn't find at your typical restaurant. I plan to go back again soon!“

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️“

The food order was perfect and each person loved their entree. The salmon dinner was moist, flat iron steak salad was tender and fresh, the vegetarian pasta was flavorful, all other entrées were delicious. The appetizers, spicy tuna stack, brussel sprouts and steak tartar were a delicious intro to precede our entrees. All perfectly prepared. We had two children with us and they enjoyed their meals which arrived promptly. Alvaro made our birthday and thanksgiving celebration so special. We will definitely return to Jolies for their fabulous service, view and food! Kudos to everyone at jolies who work together to provide thee Best!“

“Hands down the best Philly cheesesteak on the west coast, I’ve had cheesesteak on the east coast and the west coast and in my humble opinion Johnny's Philly grill is on par with what you get in Philadelphia and that’s really saying something. We have eaten here many times and will continue to do so. We ordered from here on superbowl Sunday since we are Philadelphia eagles fans.. Go birds! It was extremely busy and they had hundreds of orders called in but they still had ours ready on time and they were phenomenal as usual. It doesn’t matter how busy they are, the food is top notch every single time. Just writing this review made me crave a Philly so I know where I’m eating tonight. I haven’t tried all of the locations but based on the overall experience while eating at the beach blvd location, I’m sure they are all on point. I’m so glad I found this place, even my super picky 15 year old loves it and that’s impressive. I can’t wait to go back after work.

Parking: It’s not the biggest lot but I have never had a problem parking even when they are busy. If I had to park on the street and walk I would still go. The food is that good

“I wish I would have got the waitress's name. She was so nice and accommodating to me ,my wife, and our dog. She went above and beyond a couple of times during our lunch. My wife's dish was a little too spicy so we sent it back and they gave us another at no charge(minus the Chipotle sauce). The amazing part Was the sincere kindness of the waitress. Most places make you feel like you're a problem when you send something back. She just wanted to make sure we were happy. Thank you, you are much appreciated.
