“Pero mad Chingona! The shrimp basket was excellent. My guy brought me another beer since the kitchen was taking forever. 5/5. This place gets it and there is no better seafood on the peninsula!“

“Meaty double patty smash style burger. Size of patty is generous and seasoned well. Chipotle oil is delicious but not overpowering. Balances the patty and bun. Onions are sliced and grilled. Will have to try garlic crisp next time. Worth a try“

“Great customer service! And the burgers were so darn good. Of course the beer was ice cold!“

“Awesome, low key spot in the SouthPark neighborhood. Ordered the Fried Chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised at the seasoning and the spice level. A little dry but nothing too worrying as it was sort of a brunch rush.
As always, the beer is stellar. Will be something for everyone. Harland is the best!“

“The absolute best little diner that I have ever eaten in. You have to sit at the bar to get the full experience. I come eat here every time I visit my son that’s in the Marines.“

“Absolutely LOVED my first time at Hidden Craft! Such a great layout and so unique that you can pour your own beer! My partner rented out the space for my 30th birthday and the staff was so wonderful and everyone that came absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and this will now be a regular spot of mine.“

“Hi I recommend this entirely“
“I recently moved to South Park a few months ago and walk past this place daily. Got off work early one day and decided to stop in for happy hour. The place was relatively empty but the food and service were great! The honey chili wings were perfectly crisp, saucy, and delicious! Went great with an ice cold Pilsner. Will definitely be back to try out the dinner menu soon.“

“Had a quick lunch here today. Yummy salad ( a bit heavy on the blue cheese, but fixable) fun ambiance and very helpful friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this place! Also, kind on my wallet which makes going here a no brainer!“

“We REALLY enjoyed happy hour at Bay City Brewing! Taylor was AMAZING. HELPFUL and SO ENTERTAINING!! We had a ton of fun meeting regulars in for a drink before the Journey show; gaining insight from Taylor; and savoring some awesome beers and food!“

“This little spot was fantastic! Truly some of the best food I've had in SD. I ordered the Godzilla hot dog, my husband got the Pastrami Tsunami, and we shared the pierogi plus grabbed a couple beers. The service was friendly and super fast. The food was fresh, and I think the sign said they make their own sausages. The sausage was phenomenal: flavorful, spicy without being overbearing, and seemed lean (no squishy, fatty deposits). The food, although very comfort forward, didn't leave us feeling heavy. The seating is all outdoor at little patio style tables just down from a little fishing pier and next to The Rady Shell. This is now one of my favorite spots; looking forward to going back.“
“Everything about it is fantastic! The beers are delicious and the owners are so welcoming! Thank you for hosting my 29th birthday!!!💕“

“Craft beer places are a dime a dozen in SD, but I knew after one visit that Machete is easily going to become a favorite water hole to visit when I am in the mood for a good variety of craft beer. They have a bunch of different styles, and a selection of beers from breweries that I either haven't heard of or never tasted before. Love that. It gets boring seeing the same 3-4 breweries at every place that offers craft beer in SD.Vibe is super chill, casual and divey.Staff here is really nice. I didn't get his name, but he let me try a few different beers and gave great recommendations based on the styles I like.No food here, but the Papi’s Teppanyaki food truck is here from time to time. Check their IG for their schedule. Not sure if there are ever other options since I only recently found out about this place.Cheers!Edit: I came back a second time and the super cool bartender's name is Jett. If you come in on a day he's manning the bar, you're in great hands. :)
Kid-friendliness: There was a young family here with a stroller, but it wouldn't be my first choice for places to visit with kids.“
“Great beer and good food! They also promote several social mixers. Definitely going back“
“LOVE the energy and the beautiful colorful spirits who brought this collective together! Some of the most considerate and dynamic artists I know! Everything revolves around culture, growth, unity, and progress. All of the artists they've brought through their doors, where musicians, artisans, and/ or painters have been amazing.“
“Tap house with friendly and generous owner.
Keeping one of the most Varietal selections in San Diego. From local California and national breweries
Located on 3rd ave filled with eateries. Always a must to stop by and drink dessert.
You know us adults who choose our sweets 😋 😉 😏 😜“

“Congratulations, you just found the best Filipino restaurant and bar in San Diego!
The service is so warm. Jeff runs the bar and will take your order. Good non alcohol drink selection - I got the Calamansi Cooler which was perfectly bright and refreshing. Recommend
But what really got my attention was the Corned beef & onions on the menu. This dish is not a restaurant thing. That is like a legit Pinoy home style thing you eat at home on the couch. Truly great to see in the wild. I got this and subbed steamed rice for garlic rice.
But honestly it's mostly the hospitality from Jeff. The Filipino love is real. And, if you have never eaten Filipino food, GLF is probably the best place to start.“

“Great hidden gem in the heart of National City’s Market on 8th food hall!Excellent craft beer tap list goes along perfectly with the vast food options available in this open air food hall.Bar staff was very knowledgeable about craft beer and made some great recommendations.Came on a nearly 100 degree San Diego day and couldn’t even tell it was hot out with all the windows open & the cool ocean breeze blowing through.Highly recommend grabbing a beer here whenever you can“

“Ordered the short rib burrito and thought it was really good. Yes, $20 is a lot for a burrito, but this was the first time I've actually been satisfied with my ballpark food. The quantity and quality was all there; definitely a hefty burrito.“

“Tourist spot with decent food, but overpriced because it is on the island. I understand why they price it like this but it unfortunately isn't anything special. Staff was super friendly though and the location is beautiful.
Dietary restrictions: Not many options if you're both dairy free and gluten free.“

“Excellent food and very well served, If you are Mexican and you eat here you will understand me!!!
Everything is very delicious and very well served, the asada tacos are nothing like tacos in Mexico, I am Mexican and the truth is they are delicious and the dishes are very large.
Excellent place, I will definitely return without thinking about it!“

“Made my way for the first time last week with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, good atmosphere, and the food/beer exceeded my expectations. The tacos are delicious, with hand-made tortillas. I had the Taco de Pulpo, which was amazing. Also had a very good queso fundido. And their Mexican Lager was very good. Definitely coming back for more.“

“Great place to enjoy a drink or a bite of food overlooking the Coronado Beach and Hotel del Coronado. Weekends are busy yet we were able to get a table to enjoy the cold beverage enjoying the autumn sun. They play live music in the afternoons making the place to visit and enjoy time with family and friends.
Free street parking is available a short walk away but can be hard to find at times. A must visit destination on your next trip to San Diego.“

“I loved the food. We got a pizza and I ordered the meatball sandwich. My only negative was that I asked for a container to take home the half of the sandwich I didn't eat. The server brought a container and then picked up my sandwich and put it in the container. Bare hands. No longer was I going to eat that sandwich.so to the servers...don't touch the customers food with with your hands.“
