“I checked out Charlie's Fish N Chips. Got the Red Snapper and Shrimp combo, both deep fried. Came with Fries, a dinner roll and a salad. The Fish and Shrimp were hittin', the Fries weren't hot. Staff was cool and efficient. I would go here again 100.“

“The red snapper was seasoned & fried just right . I love the crinkle fries & hush puppies that accompanied the fish. I appreciated the packaging the fish dinner came in, a small card board box with a lid to keep everything warm & crispy. Alot of fish markets use Styrofoam containers which sweat the fish & fries out causing them not to have that fresh crispy texture. They give you tarter sauce in the packets like ketchup come in which is OK but, if they were to switch to the tarter sauce that come in the small round plastic container that most fish markets provide & add a bread roll , it would be over the top. Overall very nice fish dinner. The price i selected was for 2 red snapper dinners $38.00.“

“I was so happy to see another fish market right after the last one closed. We were one the first customers & were telling neighbors, family and even ppl stopping by the store next door. I've heard ppl say they're friend/family recommend them (driving from Hawthorne) that's some serious comfort food.“

“Exactly what it should be, h salt fish and chips. Just like I remember as a kid when my London-born grandma would get them from the one in pedro. Deliciously crispy and indulgent. Travel well. Reheat well.
Quick, friendly and efficient. Just like the good old days.“

“Went close to closing asked my mother to pick up food. Fish was fried hard, was so little, and tight. Tried calling back but they were closed. I took pictures to show them so I can get my hard earned money back. Can’t even eat it so hard and tight. So disappointing.
Hey coming back with an edit. I spoke with Michael and he not only fixed my order but went above and beyond to fix my order. I don’t have any new pictures but will post later because we destroyed our meal because it was delicious. I will definitely be back. Please give them a try!!!!!“

“I found them on Yelp with a 4.5 rating and said I'm gonna try this place. I ordered a combo of catfish filet and oysters with fries and macaroni salad. The food was fresh, tasted great and plentiful. And I couldn't finish my meal because it was so much food. I highly recommend this place. The service was good also. I finally found my new go-to fried fish spot. Maybe I'll trying the orange roughy or lobster fried the next time. And don't forget the tartar sauce. It's off the chain, not that packaged stuff like some other places have.“

“Small shop inside the mall but the wings is fabulous. The service is excellent, super nice and friendly. This was our first time try the wings there. We love the Yam fry also, fresh and yummy. Wait 10mins for frying and it worth the wait. Definitely will come back. Very satisfied, thanks for the great food and aervice.“

“very cool place to visit- highly recommended! Must try the Cuban sandwich! The staff who took care of us (?Marta, Margarette, unsure) very kind and proficient. She did great answering my questions about the menu, and since we had not been here before even took the time to tell us about specials that were coming up and invite us to visit again soon. We enjoyed our visit very much..“

“Nice restaurant in East Hollywood. Place was clean and a little slow when I went. The prices were reasonable although I felt you didn't get that much fish in the order. The staff was really friendly and made sure everything was in the bag. The fish was tasty as well. The garlic bread was ok a little on the dry side but they give me extra butter so that was fine. The strawberry mint drink was quite good though. If you are in the mood for fish this is a good spot.“

“My first review! My visit here last night was nothing short of a revelation in the art of sushi dining. Celebrating its 17th year, this gem of a restaurant has not just stood the test of time; it has set the bar for what authentic Japanese cuisine can embody. Though it is not your modern izakaya nor fine-dining luxury, it firmly facets itself as the "OG" restaurant in the diverse Japanese dining scene. Immediately upon entering, I observed details of its classic entity by old decos of art, calligraphy, signs, photos, and handwritten notes. It was an ambiance that exuded warmth. I immediately felt the history and dedication woven into the fabric of this place. The owners have crafted not merely a restaurant but a sanctuary for those who appreciate the finer nuances of Japanese culture and cuisine. I opted for the sushi combo course. Each piece of sushi was a testament to the chef's mastery over his craft, with every ingredient shining through in a delicate balance of flavors and textures with a properly curated course. All the nigiri boasted freshness in a blend of tastes that was above satisfactory by the plate. But what truly sets Sushi Anza apart is the heart and soul poured into every aspect of the dining experience. From the attentive, yet unobtrusive service to the meticulous presentation of the dishes, you can feel the love and dedication that the owners have for their craft. It's this personal touch combined with an "aged" ambience that transforms a meal into an experience. In a world where the genuine essence of Japanese cuisine can sometimes be lost amidst fusion and innovation, Sushi Anza stands as a beacon of tradition and quality. Overall, my first visit here was a nostalgic journey through the very essence of Japanese tradition, guided by the hands of those who know and respect it the most. I cannot recommend Sushi Anza enough and look forward to many more visits. I hope to regain the same authentic warmth, excellence, and quality that hallmarks the culinary gems of Torrance.“

“I’ve never been to this place because the area always scared me but I wish I came here sooner!! This place has one of the best tasting chicken in the area it was so good and the fries were pretty decent. The staff were friendly and give you large portions whenever you want Chinese food so that’s dope! It’s just a shame the area brings the place down.“

“I think most restaurants use some kind of inexpensive fish with the thought that once it's breaded and fried, no one will care. But the Slow Bell's haddock was thick, moist, and cooked just right. The fries were so good bare that I felt guilty using ketchup.“

“I came in for an early lunch and the food was so fresh and delicious. I noticed I was only charged $.35 for a credit card use so that’s a plus. A price of an orange chicken bowl with chow mein was under $10. It got me really full, so I’m really satisfied. If you’re craving Chinese American food, you won’t be let down here.“

“This Louisiana offers fried chicken Gizzards and Fried liver. $6 I loved fried chicken Gizzards as a child. I had to try it to recreate that childhood experience. They could use a little bit more seasoning. But the crunch and experience was what I wanted to revisit again memories of being in my grandma's kitchen. My husband said the fried chicken is good. They have an extensive menu. So if you are in the area. I think it's worth a try. No dining area. You have to eat in your car.“

Totally sumptuous, and worth a return visit for sure, I’ll be ordering the entire menu next time I visit. Totally sumptuous to die for fried fish, sides did not disappoint as well.
Moderately priced in comparison to the quality.“

“Although I’ve lived in LA forever my sister and I just visited Eee’s n Cee’s for the first time. As we are picky about our fish we went for it. While looking at the menu there was another customer in there, so I asked about the food. He told us the food was really good. So, we placed our orders and let me tell you all….the food DID NOT DISAPPOINT, but not only did the food NOT disappoint the customer service was EXCELLENT. When she handed our bags I said ooh they heavy (lol). Baby when we popped the container open the presentation spoke volume and for what you get the prices are really good. We couldn’t even pull off without going in and 😋 is all I’m going to say. I hate I didn’t ask her name but she’s the beautiful cook and owner of the establishment (1996). There are not many places you can get great food with great service but this mom and pop establishment definitely did just that. She is really sweet and KNOWS how to cook. If you haven’t been please check them out! My sister and I thank you 😊 Lita & Mo“
