“Customer service is amazing. I am visiting from NY and would 100% recommend coming here. I wanted to stop in for the viral fruit pastries, after being disappointed at different bakery called Altadena Bakery. I got the mango one and it was amazing. My boyfriend also got a cappuccino which he enjoyed and we both got complimentary macaroons which were excellent. If you want to try the fruit pastries definitely come here!“

“Was almost lost when trying to find the outlet since it's located in a plaza that might not be visible if you're by the road side. Worry not about parking at the plaza since they apparently validated parking (yep! plus point for sure).

The gorgeously designed outlet only served grab and go since there's no seating on the spot. There were some outdoor benches at the center of the plaza though if you just couldn't wait to enjoy the goodies.

They offered bunch of sweets from Canele, Madeleine, Financier, Cookies, Cheesecake, and more; all of which did come in multiple flavors. So yeah, be prepared to be indecisive in front of the showcase. They were super helpful though in assisting you making your choices by recommending the favorite ones. It was nice that the price was decent enough for LA standard, so you could definitely opt for more than one or a couple.

For my initial visit, I started with the Ube Financier, which was kept in the chiller, maybe due to the cream on top. It came in spongy yet not too airy texture with luscious ube cream topping. It was decent, but not really my top choice. My second was their Earl Grey Milk Chocolate Tigre, which was basically buttery cake kinda similar to financier IMO, with milk chocolate ganache at the center. I definitely loved this more than the financier, especially the combo of earl grey and milk chocolate which to my surprise was awesome and helped balancing the taste to be not overly sweet. Another one I tried was their thick salted chocolate chip cookies, which decadently had crispy edge though I wish being more gooey inside as it's tad dry. Nonetheless, flavor wise I felt like classic chocolate chip with a sprinkle of sea salt indeed never failed. The creme de la creme, however, was certainly their canele which I was beyond thrilled to finally find in LA. I had my favorite one in London which I thought unbeatable, and it's impressive that LA now had something comparable to satisfy the craving without having to fly over 5K miles away. It flawlessly had that crispy coating, moist center, and just the right sweetness level. I surely made the right choice going with matcha as Brown Bag definitely elevated the overall taste with this matcha flavor and that matcha cream top. It was no brainer that their canele is NEVER TO BE MISSED if you ever paid Brown Bag a visit.“

“I ask for their water/ocean “decoration” (it’s just the whipped cream frosting). It’s perfect because we put our own decorations at home. The cake is perfection. The strawberry shortcake is perfection. The chocolate one is rich. Whipped cream frosting is absolutely perfect.

Just give yourself enough time to pick up your order because it gets packed so you can be waiting for a while. Even if it’s just a pick up.“

“I have been to the 2 Little Tokyo locations and this one is definitely the winner! there’s a huge variety of pastries and things to eat for a quick bite (you might probably have to eat it standing or elsewhere during the weekends since it gets pretty packed and there’s just 3 tables!) but the steamed buns were good!, the matcha mochi wasn’t too sweet so it was perfect, the almond croissant was fine but their specialty is definitely on other pastries! will definitely come back again to try more stuff.“

After eating two pastries I just had to go back & buy more for my staff at the hospital. Spent another $49 & left with a box full of pastries & the employee even threw in a freebie. “My Mom like going to get cake from Bonjour French Pastry because this is a really good place for a good cake. I have some of the cake that Mommy like. The Matcha Cake is good. The Mango Cake is also really good. And I also enjoy having some of the Tiramisu Cake which is good. So I recommend going to this place if you want to get some good cakes. And also the limit to get inside is 6 limit so you have to be patient to get inside to get your cakes.“

“tiramisu was AMAZING. let's just start by saying that first. I wanted to order an iced Carmel macchiato to go along with it but that's when the guy said they couldn't make any more drinks because they had already cleaned all the coffee machines. They still had 45+ min til closing so that threw me off. It was late, yes, but that is why this spot is known because of thier late open hours. I think my experience would of been way better if i was able to try more items but unfortunately i couldn't due to employees wanting to close up & leave early“

“Really nice place in a food court, lots of options for pastries and cakes, prices are a bit high (it helps me not eat as many goodies as I would have but this is technically a good thing I think!)
The people at the counter were nice, the first time you went the person was a bit confused as it was close to closing and had given us the wrong size drink but corrected it as quickly as possible.
They have beautiful packaging for any takeout pastries or food. The atmosphere is okay, the tables were not cleaned, but it is a shared area amongst many restaurants. This also means it's busy and kind of loud, so depending on what you are looking for you may wish to just pick something up and take it home.“

“I bought a chocolate cake for friends. It was really good. Not too sweet, moist and big enough for 10 people. I liked that the chocolate ganache wasn’t too thick because sometimes it’s more ganache than actual cake. It was well balanced and tasteful. They also have small portions for dessert.
