“My one and only bakery of choice for Mexican bread! They have the best Mexican bread, always so good and fresh baked! Luckily the times that we go there is no line but it does get filled up and a long line always forms behind us. We love to get the chilindrinas, rebanadas, tortugas, elotes and cuernos. They even have tortas which we have also ordered and those are good as well. If your looking for Mexican bread this the place for you!“

“Thick crust with tons of flavor, with a crispy initial crunch then a soft chewy bread party with lots of air bubbles and oil. Toppings are fabulous. A few vegetarian options exist. The cakes, cream pies, and cookies are equally special. This is a memorable pizza place that you'll talk about for weeks and think about for the rest of the year. $6-8 per smallish 6 inch square slice -- two is typical. Tables for eating in are few and hard to get (waiting for a few hours is not unlikely). Lines are long for take out. Minimal street parking. Friendly and kind service. I'll definitely be coming back.“

“Tiny little bakery, in little Tokyo specializing in Asian baked goods. It was packed so I didn't look at everything they had, but they had plenty of good looking sweet stuff to ruin your Hollywood diet. I just grabbed snacks to take on my travels. I snagged a bag of melon pan and it looks and taste just like anime told me it would. Also got a couple steamed buns, sadly they were sold out of anko, but I got pork and curry. Haven't tried those yet, but the melon pan got me excited for them.“

“What a delightful bakery and coffee shop! I stumbled upon this gem looking around Chinatown for some boba. Their drinks are on the steeper side but they are so good!! Even the cups are cute. I saved my cup after the boba cause the quality of it is so well made that I have to use it again. For 2 milk tea bobas it was $11.They specialize in custom cakes and had a few on display that were mind blowing. The Hello Kitty goth cake was next level.You can find baked treats, custards, mini cakes, and snow ice here ☺️?There’s some seating inside and along the window a few tables and chairs. It’s a delightful spot to look out and gaze at busy Chinatown.Parking is available along the streets in metered spots.Everyone working there was super nice and the service was fast despite the line.“

“I love these cuties called senorita bread! These sweet buttery breads are the best to share my culture and taste with everyone I share it to! It was a small little place with some seating outside. There is also a coffee shop next door if you want to grab some coffee to eat with your cake. “Love this bakery and visit it at least twice sometimes three times a week! Love the coffee danish bread, not too sweet. Just right and a little crunchy. I buy the walnut bread for sandwiches which is not like any other bread I've ever had. Makes a sandwich that much better. Love the little crunch from the walnuts. Jin there is. Sweetheart and always greets you with a smile. The little thin disk cookies with I believe almonds are so delish I buy two bags each time I go. I am addicted to this place and hate the weekends cause I always go in on my way to work.“

I got an assortment of pastries and desserts and I wasn't disappointed with any of my choices. I often get just a baguette, but when I am feeling something sweet, I'll get there Nutella donut, yuzu saboro, red velvet cake, or when it's the season, their mini pumpkin pies are my favorite.They are right next to a busy Hmart and can have the indoor seating be full of older people, which can definitely lessen the vibe, but I honestly take my pastries to go every time. Although they don't have table to sit at anymore, my family loves it when I buy their birthday cakes from here. “Its right in the corner. Its small but they have all kind of sweet bread. Had a craving. Plus the Birote/ Bonilla looked soon good. [ It was soo crunchy and soft from the inside. Every bread has a unique name... special ones made Fri sat sun like this one it's so delicious it's some sort of rice pudding in the middle the tastes it's so delightful fluffy chewy not too sweet no one makes better bread than this bakery I go Sundays for this special one it's called "el TORCANTE "try it you won't regret awesome prices they even have big gallons of milk and coffee on the go I wish they can make a atole that would rock the guy that works there is supper humble and very nice ...“

“The downtown location is surprisingly clean and their baked goods and pastries are fresh. They appear to have a regular clientele who stops in on their way to work or class. On the weekdays anyway. They probably sell through their products faster maintaining their freshness. This is a takeout only location. No seating at all. Grab and go. It's nearby several downtown hotels, Sheraton, Hilton, Hotel Per La, as well as several colleges. Staff is friendly and efficient. They keep the location clean and tidy. I have observed them handling difficult people, who are not customers, but who walk in off of the streets, with grace and kindness when the situation needs to be addressed. This is a small, but mighty location. People who work, live, go to school or visit downtown L.A. are lucky to have it as a choice among several Starbucks. Parking is a challenge. Metered street parking and a few parking garages are available.“

My recommendations: PALABOK family platter (good for 3 to 4) - must drizzle with lemon juice before eating so you maximize savoring the flavor; SANS RIVAL cake, MANGO Cake, EMPANADA, ENSAYMADA, and of course, HALO-HALO. Service is OK. Ambience: quiet, likelihood to have "high traffic" of customers on certain times and days. That does not even matter to me because the sandwich was good from the first bite to the last. The baguette was great. Not chewy, still crunchy from the crust and soft on the inside with great flavor overall. I wish bacon was an option; I think that would take this to make it perfect for me. Paris Baguette has been becoming my favorite go to place for sandwiches, coffee, and pastries (their cheesecake is fantastic) and other goodies. “Wow! What an amazing hidden gem in Carson, CA. Just absolutely incredible, great service, really good mocha latte, and amazingly delicious ? empanadas ? they have a variety of them. They have pork, chicken and spicy chicken. I hope I'm not missing one more, but my personal favorite was the Chicken empanada. So good! Very flavorful and warm. You absolutely have to give them a try. The Mocha Latte was really good, aix of both but more of the mocha and a 4 oz. or so of the espresso on top. Overall, really really good. Definitely recommend when you are wanting to get some good comfort food. They also have different types of Filipino breads and some yummy looking delicious desserts. Five stars! For sure without a doubt. Hands down! Best empanadas I have ever tried, even better than the famous Argentinian styles ones.“
