The atmosphere was wonderful, the drinks were stiff and reasonably priced, and our bartender (Tucker) was the kindest and most efficient bartender I’ve ever had in my life. From now on, this place will be a mandatory go-to before flying out of SNA.“

“Its been about 2 years since I went here and now they have so much more amazing dishes on their menu. I tried their new arrival dishes such as their bulgogi fries which were crispy with delicious meat. Would have wished for a different type of cheese, but not mad about it! Their stir fried udon was al dente, which I loved and their korean fried chicken had a nice crunch. The service was fantastic and had a dim interior which is great for a late night group gathering.“

“Great happy hour and good food. We went here while staying at the hotel for our Disney trip and it ended up being our groups rest spot after a long day. If you're going to get a specialty cocktail, the Smoky Sparrow was really smooth and the aromatics were wonderful. Intriguing, dark-painted, one small door marked the front of a strip-mall establishment… hmmm…sorta scary…but not really!! But there were two of us, and we had researched this place…so… The doorman looked at us, said a few things and unlocked a chain. We walked through curtains into the darkest bar I had ever been in, and shuffled toward the green lit bar…which turned red, then blue. The girl bartender handed us a card which we couldn’t read…it was really dark inside. From the shadows, up walked a bearded guy wearing a black shirt with hibiscus’s, smiled, extended his hand and said, “Hi, I’m “WILL”…can I explain anything to you? We had lots of questions…about drinks, Tiki ceramics, glassware, appetizers…and WILL cheerfully explained everything…He was fun, cheery, smart, and So Nice!! He brought us amazing drinks (a Tropical Margarita, a Cococano and totally fun ceramic sculptures from which to drink…an Angler Zombie Fish with a light, and Carved Volcano mug that had a flame show-by WILL, included!! Awesome!!) Totally wonderful décor…lights, bamboo furniture, comfy stools, the Skull Cave and waterfall, starry night ceiling, cool pool tables with lotsa room around them…everything thought through perfectly!!! We are definitely going back…VERY soon!!!! Thanks so much for everything, WILL!!“

“We are in the city of Laguna Beach. Stopped a this place to have dinner. Great sandwiches. Had a Turkado and pastrami. Pricing was very, very reasonable! Highly recommended if you are in the area. This would be my new favorite place if it was in Riverside.

“My friends and I visited this Mexican restaurant for a weekend dinner, and it did not disappoint. Located in the Newport Hill Shopping Center, parking was plentiful, and the restaurant boasts a comfortable ambiance with ample seating—including patio options—and even a bar setup. The service staff were friendly, making our dining experience enjoyable from start to finish.

We started with the blackened chicken nachos, which came in a good portion loaded with cheese and meat, though the meat was a bit on the lighter side. For our mains, we ordered a variety of dishes including the tacos carnitas and steak, Rosa burrito, Rosa bowl, and the Rosa combo. The meat in each dish was delicious, with the steak taco standing out in particular, and the Rosa combo was both plentiful and satisfying.

“Servers were super kind and really good at making sure we were taken care of. This place is super dated but the food is on point and the price is fantastic. My 9 and 11 year old were charged the adult price, but hey it's only $21 for menu A. They usually just eat brisket but they liked the beef belly and ribeye bulgogi this time around. The pork belly was also really yummy. There is free thrifty ice cream near the door that we almost missed. Really great value. Would come back for sure.“

“The young man who took my order was friendly and helpful. I asked for sandwich suggestions since it was my first time there, and he definitely led me in the right direction.

The sandwich was loaded with all the good stuff, but WAY too much lettuce - there was no way to take a bite of it, and since I am not a snake and able to unhinge my jaw, I took most of it out. I did appreciate the generous helping of avocado and all the ingredients were fresh.

“INCREDIBLE is an understatement! From the ambiance, to the service, to the impeccably currated menu. Just WOW. The attention to detail on every aspect at Casa De Onda was perfection. The tropical margarita was a show stopper, fresh lime and coconut is a combo I didn’t know I needed. The steak frites melted in you mouth & was topped with a homemade Chimichurri that was a burst of fresh flavor. The vibes from start to finish we insane! 1000/10.“

Honey, we command this place like pirates. The Owner finally did somethin' right-floor don't grab my flip-flops, somebody's moppin'! Jeff's still king behind the bar, new gals laugh real, pour cold, TVs sharp as knives. Only hitch-get Cruisers to wing it over so we quit dodgin' Death Trap Balboa Boulevard. Five stars, fat tip, and girl-we're bringin' every neighbor, every sunburned neighbor's dog, every salty soul we love down here to share the buzz we just crashed into.“

They said they were out of the one for my wife so I turned to ask her as she’s walking towards me and before I could finish my question to her the bartender asks “Is there anything else for this order?!” Thankfully she said whatever you’re having or I would have felt like I was inconveniencing this poor man at the beginning of his shift with a practically empty bar. I’d come back but would make it a point to have a back up drink in mind just in case I happened to bother this guy on another “off night”.“
