“I originally went next door to the pita to go place and after standing inside the dark restaurant for 7 minutes a rude guy came out and was so rude I wasn’t going to spend my hard earned money inside this establishment so I went next door to wasabi n roll “sushi “ and I’m so glad I did… I ordered the bento #1 beef and it was soooo amazing and what was even more amazing was the customer service and the cleanliness of this establishment. I’m actually back again for the 2nd time this week lol“

“This Waba Grill is the coolest location ever !!Right off the 605 fwy and adjacent to the bike trail, and they have ranch dressing to dip your Salmon into. “My service club was trying out different restaurants in Diamond and June's spot is Solo Hot Pot. We came at a good time for dinner and was able to fit our group in two tables pushed together.

Each person orders their own thing, picking their ingredients and broth. They weigh your bowl of stuff (veggies, meat, seafood, noodles, etc) and it's $15.99 per pound. If you don't pace yourself, it's very easy to end up with an expensive bowl of hot pot. Mines ended up weighting a little over 1.5 lbs, so my hot pot was over $25 before taxes. Some broths also have an additional charge (like the tonkotsu is $4.95 extra), so keep that in mind. I picked the organic miso broth, which had no extra charge. My hot pot was pretty yummy since I got to choose exactly what I wanted in it and even though I ordered a little too much, I enjoyed it the next day for lunch.

The sauce bar is included and they offer iced green tea with refills for $1.99 more. If you need a refill of the iced tea, you can let them know and they'll refill your cup. Very refreshing!

Even though we paid separately, they do charge 18% big party service charge for groups of 5 or more.

Parking was plentiful and easy in the plaza.“

“This was the second time I’ve been here and it was even better than the last time I went. The staff is extremely nice, they offered so much help from ordering the best soup to bagging up our sauces for us without even asking. The food is always good, there’s many different options from seafood to veggies. I prefer getting the Beef bone soup, it’s so flavorful! The staff here are so nice and the food is amazing. The texture is unbelievably tender and smooth, not a bit rubbery. You can tell it’s made with care. The chicken skin has a lovely, subtle gelatinous quality, and when you pair it with the fragrant rice and the incredible house-made chili and ginger scallion sauces… it’s just perfection. Don’t sleep on their other dishes, either. The potato noodles come in a massive, steaming clay pot with a soup base that’s both spicy and deeply flavorful. The fried buns are golden, crispy little clouds of goodness. The atmosphere is super casual and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. Needless to say this place was delicious and has a good variety of different options. Definitely recommend checking out the mixed tempura, soft shell crab and the spicy tonkotsu ramen. “the restaurant is super clean. If you show up thinking you're going to order Orange chicken, Broccoli beef, kung pao chicken or any of that chinese fast food then this is not the place for you. BUT if you're looking for some delicious mouth watering dumplings cooked in various forms then you're at the CORRECT place. I brought my mom here and we tried the pork chive regular dumplings, the pan fried beef and cumin dumplings and the regular fried rice. All of it was delicious. Also they give you a complimentary bowl of egg drop corn soup. NOT a small bowl but a good size portion, it was GOOOOOD. I will definitely be back with the rest of the family and I want to try the beef noodle soup. DON'T fall asleep on the fried rice.“

“Was at Santa Anita Mall and it was dinner time. Had seen Marugame Udon many times, but had never tried it until today. Tried the new Bolongese Udon with a potato croquette and sweet potato tempura. Ambience is great and the wall artwork is fabulous. Noodles were fresh and bowl was warmed before plating. I ordered a large size and was not disappointed. Free toppings were nice: tempura flakes, wake, cilantro, grunions. Tempura was nice and crispy. Potato croquet was good but a bit too sweet for my liking. Grabbed a Calamansi Ade to drink; nice Calamansi flavor and not overly sweet. Tempura dipping sauce was excellent. Appreciate the Togarashi and chili oil as well if you want a bit of spice. Free water cups also appreciated.

For the bolognese, please don’t think this will be similar to an Italian restaurant; this is the Japanese riff on bolognese. A boiled egg may seem odd at first, but it gives the dish a wonderful creamy texture when mixed with the cheese. The ground meat rounded out the dish well. Cilantro and togarashi paired really well by providing freshness and a hint of spice (I love spicy stuff). While this dish will not be for everyone, I’d encourage people to try it, as it is quite filling and really good for what it is. If you’ve had Japanese pasta before, you’ll know.

“So I’ve been driving by this place for over 20 years and never bothered to stop by. Today, my partner mentioned this place and I said okay let’s check it out.
My partner loved his chicken and veggie bowl. It was well worth the $12.99. There were actual veggies and not just cabbage ( broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini, cauliflower and carrots) perfectly cooked/steamed. Chicken to veggies ratio was just right and I mean damn there was so much my partner left a few pieces. Normally he takes some of my chicken since it’s never enough. Hands down will return for the chicken and veggie bowl.
I ordered the chicken plate which comes with a green salad. Well worth the $14.99.

Next time I’ll try their teriyaki burger, maybe 😜

“I've always seen this restaurant on the corner passing by and always wanted to try it out. I came into order for takeout and got my food in less than 2 minutes. Got home and the food was still piping hot. The service is spectacular and the food was amazing. Its a great place for great food and quick and friendly service. Will definitely be coming back.“

“A Mazesoba spot in Walnut, had to try it since it's rare to have this type of restaurant around. My wife and I were immediately seated as it wasn't busy when we entered, although busy a bit later. We were guided by Yuki, he was very friendly, and guided us through the menu since it was our first times at this specific spot. Top notch staff, friendly, professional, and very informative.

My wife and I ordered the Classic Mazesoba & Champion Mazesoba. (Both non spicy) Both came out pretty fast and the presentation is spectacular.

1. Champion Mazesoba came with 2pcs Chashu, Marinated egg, minced pork, poached eggs, 3pcs nori, shredded seaweed, green onions, chives, and garlic. All mixed together with the ramen noodles creates the perfect dish. It wasn't too salty, and everything mixes just melts perfectly.
The noodles were already seasoned well, which makes the mixing extra yummy.

2. Classic Mazesoba came with minced pork, poached egg, shredded seaweed, green onions, chives, and garlic.

Cheaper than the champion bowl, less ingredients, but just as tasty. This dish is perfect for customers who like less meat, and loves more simplicity in their mazesoba. Noodles taste very similar despite some of the lacking ingredients

Overall, Mazesoba Hero is amazing, service is great, parking is free (popular plaza), food is top quality, and for those who are new or interested in mazesoba type food, this is the perfect place to start. Can't wait to come back to try the other dishes.“

Minced Beef & Egg on Rice - Very light savory in flavoring which is nice for lunch so you don't feel guilty. I had enough to take home to make more sunny side up eggs to enjoy it with

Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs - Comes with a large side of jasmine rice. The sour and sweet sauce is just right, not overpowering in flavor on one spectrum. There are bones on some of the ribs FYI. The sauteed vegetables is a great balance to the rib meat.

Baked Sole Fillet & Spinach in Cream Sauce - I chose pasta which hit the carb crave I was having. They had big chunks of sole fillet to balance the creamy sauce. I would recommend adding a bit of pepper if you want some adjustments to the flavoring.

The staff seated us immediately and provided their complimentary soup of the day, which was cream corn soup
