“What an amazing drink experience! The drinks are crafted with love & care. We tasted greatness in every sip. Kids & I love boba, so I can tell without a doubt, this is our favorite place. Fortunately, this place is close to my work & a bit far from home. Or else, the kids would bring me here every other day!

“Auntie Qiu Kitchen’s Pork XLB definitely hit the spot for my partner and me when we had cravings for XLB in Alhambra, didn’t get to try their crab and pork XLB but we'll have to come back to try it out! I definitely recommend the fried pork chop sticky rice cake, it’s super crispy, savory and the glaze on the pounded crispy rice cake is a great compliment. The server was nice and attentive and the food came out extremely fast!“

The house salad was healthy (not just iceberg lettuce) and had a generous portion for one person. Only negatives were that the seaweed was a bit chewy (not super tough though) and the soup slightly salty. The staff was kind, friendly, attentive, and patient - hard to come by these days. This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. “Sister's cafe is a lovely place, where one can reliably get good food, no matter when you come. We've been going there for years now and have never been disappointed.

Staff is super friendly and the best of all, it's actually still affordable compared to the majority of places around LA.

They close a bit early, so I recommend to make sure to arrive no later than 8 pm. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious! Can't go wrong.

This is a perfect place to enjoy dinner out during the work week and not go broke while doing it.

One of my favorites is the curry hot pot with chicken!!

“I googled "best Chinese in LA" and then this popped up as the #1 place. So we drove - and had a very good meal. However, if you expect the classic Chinese dishes, you will be disappointed. This is Shezuan, "a different animal". So no rice, no sweet-and-sour-this-and-that. So be prepared for very spicy Szechuan food. Noodles. No rice. Try the dumplings, they were delicious. We ordered mild (1 out of 5 spice degrees) and we were burning inside (we had two separate orders of dumplings - but spice grade 1. There is no consistency, so be careful). So if spicy is what you are "in" for, you'll love it. The ambiance is sort of authentic ;-) - the sign on how to use the toilet (outside the restaurant in the alley) says more than words. But then, it was $100 all-in for the four of us only. My advice: I could barely understand the service language. Better check the menu before you go. As we were first-timers, I wanted to share three starters and three mains among the four of us and leave it up to the waitress to make us explore - she did not understand. I asked if they served beer. The answer was "noodles or dumplings". :-)“

“We came here for dinner after a huge multi-day event at the Pasadena convention center so it was packed and there was about a half hour wait. Despite how busy it was, the staff was still super friendly, on top of orders and very attentive, which was impressive.

My favorite thing on the menu was the Beef Roll Pancake. It definitely left me wanting more and was so good, I ordered one for takeaway! The flavors of the noodle dishes we had were just okay. Spicy chicken wontons were tasty. I would come back for the beef roll pancake for sure. Overall good spot in Pasadena.“
