“I visited holy grail donuts today. And I'm telling you that it was great experience to enjoy good donuts. You can see how your donut is made and who makes your donuts in the store. It was so fresh and I've been never experienced this before. The vibe was cozy and comforting. Also staffs were super friendly. Strongly recommend. I wish donut shop like Holey Grail Donuts exists in my country too ;( Maybe little bit expensive but worth to try. You won't regret it.“

“The doughnuts here are very interesting and unique. They are pretty good a little busy and definitely bougie. I would recommend giving them a try. They are very pretty but they have a lot going on. The s'more doughnut was quite delicious.“

“Let the reader know that I have no dietary restrictions and am an aggressive card carrying gluten lover. In spite of my ignorance and need to consume wheat proteins, Hello You're Welcome has quickly become my wife and I's FAVORITE coffee spot. The frittata's dominance of the egg scene is truly spectacular. I keep eating it before I remember to take a picture.“

“Best glazed donuts I've ever had, period. My wife agrees. The owner said she's been there for years, but we never bothered to go until last year. Now, we're hooked. We live about a mile and a half away and so we walk to the store for exercise, then treat ourselves for being good :-)“

“Just went here for the first time today. Ordered ham, cheese, and jalapenos croissants for my husband and me, and donuts for my son. The owners are very friendly, and the croissants were absolutely delicious - and HUGE! My son is still asleep so i don't have his review of the donuts yet but I'm sure they'll be fantastic. The owners even threw in a few donut holes for us - and they were great!“
“I stop here sometimes in the morning before work to get donuts for everyone. They're so good. It's just a woman and her husband and both of them are super nice and super helpful. I went in today with a friend of mine to get lunch and it was really good, really filling and affordable. The woman working seems to really care about the customers and will talk to them and remember little bits about them. If you're ever in Silverlake you have to stop here. Q“

“Found by chance on the way out of Paramount, pleasant, welcoming and clean place. We ate two delicious salads, paying a reasonable price and the constant coming and going of people coming to collect the takeaway confirms this. Too bad it wasn't convenient compared to my hotel, otherwise I would have returned!“

“Happened across this during a walk in the area. Ordered a crumb donut and it was great. They were about to close so they threw in an extra donut which really wasn't necessary but good to know they aren't wasteful. The taste and friendliness matches the Mr. Goods in Pasadena. Not sure if they are the same owners.“

“My bff brought home 2 vegan pan dulces from here, they were tasty , but not mind blowing. Props & blessings to Them though for making vegan items . I had a pumpkin empanada & concha type pan: too dry imo. I'll recommend cuz they're vegan, but I won't purchase or travel here. Can't opine on the price or parking or staff as I didn't visit the site.“

“Tops in the area when it comes to the cinnamon roll. Large, and full of the cinnamon flavor. $2.75 puts it in the midrange compared to other shops. Owners are really nice so that's another reason to visit. They also have a crumb version of the cinnamon roll which is fantastic.“

“The folks at this location are very nice, kind customer service and a welcoming vibe. The donuts are just classic, fresh donuts. I like to bring them to my students and they love them every time. I know the prices may have gone up, but Pavilions down the street is actually more expensive and these ones are better.“

“Ice cream + donuts is always a hit! Service here is always fast and friendly! I love their Paramoreo donut with Paramoreo ice cream! (Think Cookie Monster Oreo ice cream) My only complaint is that they don't have as much donut options as their sister shop, Donut Friend. Parking can be kind of tricky as it does get busy on sunset and it's street parking only.“
“Cinnamon roll here is quite good. It is located in a strip plaza that's not super convenient to turn into but it's a solid option. That said, if you are near the shop you might as well drive down a bit more to Rose Donuts where they have a better cinnamon roll and generally more options, donuts and sandwiches.“

“Best donuts in Pasadena. This is a quintessential Los Angeles donut shop. Biting into their donuts is like biting into a fluffy cloud of sweetness. They taste so delicious. My absolute favorite is the glaze twist, then the chocolate glazed, but they have plenty of options, and also breakfast sandwiches. The service is so kind and pleasant. The ambiance is an old school donut shop from the early 2000s and the experience to having a donut as a kid. I've never been able to find a donut shop that tasted like they did from my childhood until coming here. If you like krispy kreme melt-in-your-mouth donuts, this place is even better because they're more airy and not overpoweringly sugary. I love this place!“

“Free parking. Old fashioned mom and pop donut shop. Glad they still exist. Everything looked so yummy, so many great choices. Like a kid in a candy store (donut store). Chose these this visit: bear claws, apple fritters, chocolate donut, cream filled donuts. Everything tasted fresh and superb. They even threw in two free donut holes in our order. $.50 to use credit card.“
“Great little place, nice people running it. Simple menu with American sandwiches and burgers. Good coffee and doughnuts. Amazing prices especially for LA. Cash only of course, they also have lottery tickets and scratchers if your feeling lucky.“

“2 sandwiches & 1 coffee for only $13. You can't find a better price for this deal in LA, except for at this neighborhood local bakery! My boyfriend took me here on a sunny Sunday morning for a quick bite before a Clippers game. I was so shocked at the prices, as I'm so used to blown up prices in DTLA. I usually restrain myself from eating a Bagel because I usually can't stop, but I thought, what the hey, the price is so good, why not? The bakery owner will make the sandwich fresh and hot for you if you're willing to wait a quick 5 minutes. I finished the whole thing in one sitting (which I usually don't) because it was just so good. They also have an awesome Vietanmese coffee that will authentically smack you in the face, like it's supposed to. I had such a wonderful experience, I'll definitely be back for the awesome prices and delicious sandwiches.“

We rushed over and..oh..my..gosh. they have every imaginable donut!!! So cute, wish I took pictures. Great experience and will definitely be back next time I'm in LA!“

“This is a takeout donut place. They're donuts are not overly sweet and are baked fresh throughout the day. I took some to my office in Oxnard and one of the employees recognized the box and said she drives many miles just to get donuts at this location. They even have blueberry donuts, which I understand is rare. The prices are super reasonable, the donuts are fresh and not overly sweet and I can't recommend this place enough.“

“My boyfriend & I came around early evening. He got a sugar donut, and the owner gave us another one for free, which was very kind of him. Thank you so much! We tried them right when we left the shop. They were tasty, and I'll definitely come back! :D“

“Been coming here over a decade. Sometimes occasionally twice a day to grab a sandwich as well. During CoViD I didn't want them to go under like other businesses so I came by religiously everyday during the work week. The owners are very nice & comical, periodically, calling you "Primo" or "Corazón". They are young people working there now. One is quiet the other is more sociable. Like many businesses they must be struggling because items are becoming smaller. I prefer they stay the same size, I'd pay more because they're convenient. The chocolate glazed cream filled donut 2 days ago hardly had anything in it. Got one yesterday again and it was filled only slightly more than the day before. So went with a bagel today. Didn't have very much cream cheese but she compensated by giving me a bunch of donut holes. Nice touch! At the very least I'll continue to stop by for the coffee. I hope they make it through this rough time.Tip: the days I order a sandwich & stay there to eat. I log on to the neighboring business WiFi (password is their phone#)“
“Very nice owner, the donuts are delicious! It is a family business, locate at my mom's neighborhood, always stop by but never really write some review! This one is for support local business! You won't regret to try them!“
“Yum, I am picky about my donuts and these are amazing! I got a plain glazed yeast donut, and my friends got a strawberry glazed and a strawberry glazed with sprinkles, and they were all delicious. Light and sugary, which are exactly what I look for in a donut. They were open until 5 on the Friday I went, and are cash only. The sweet woman behind the counter was super helpful. Definitely give this place a try.“

“Good ol' Dad's. Reliable, Friendly, Cheap. Dad's Donuts is a great place to grab very delicious, freshly made donuts and coffee without all the frills and fuss of other "fancy" (and often overpriced and overhyped) donut establishments. Family-owned and very friendly, nearly all of the donuts are under $2. Don't be shy about asking which one(s) are the freshest and warmest - Dad's will tell no lies. On this particular visit, I grabbed a maple bar and a glazed old fashioned along with a freshly brewed small coffee - all for under $6. A couple of tables inside and out, a fairly small parking lot and no bathroom privileges. But this is mostly a grab and go place - Dad's wants you to get your sugar intake and go back outside to play. Check out one of the donut institutions in Burbank - Dad's will always be in the conversation.“
“I can't say enough good things about this little bakery! Despite living 20 minutes away, I make it a point to drive here at least once a week. My go to is their Napoleon pastries, they are heavenly- flaky, creamy, and just melt in your mouth. Yesterday I tried their lahmajuns for the first time fresh out of the oven, it was still warm and bursting with flavor and couldn't believe how cheap it was, I ended up picking up 5 more to go! If you're in the area, this place is a must try.“

“The menu is fairly large for a boba spot (a bunch of food options!), so I was hopeful when coming in. However, I only ordered drinks - the galaxy & the Cambodian red lime. Just a disclaimer - I think someone would like these drinks but it's not for me. That being said, I think these are well crafted & made. The galaxy was the better of the 2. To me, it tasted quite medicinal at first because it had an artificial cherry flavor but it mellows out once you keep drinking. The Cambodian red lime had nutmeg (or cinnamon?) in it which I wasn't expecting in a tea drink. It was good, just not for me. I think this place is pretty good if you're in the area! I like that they're taking risks & making flavors that you can't find anywhere else. Their flavors are quite niche but I know someone will definitely find their signature drink here. I would come back to try something new!“
“I was feeling a little bummed after seeing that someone had decided to hit and run with my car in the morning. So I thought what better way to restart the day with some yummy donuts. Donuts is key to happiness. I work next to this place and never really thought anything of it because it's a small little hole in the wall. As soon I as I walked in I was greeted by both of the women there and they were so nice and friendly. I ordered a dozen donuts and a ham and cheese croissant sandwich) The donuts were nice and fresh and fluffy. The sandwich was your typical ham and cheese croissant sandwich but that shit was stacked. It was absolutely delicious. The perfect ratio of meat and veggies. This sandwich definitely has my heart.“

“Walked in to this Sun Donuts location on Valley Blvd/ Fremont Ave. Asian lady welcomed me on entrance and had a pretty smile, I just felt bad because I woke up that morning losing my voice and cold barely talk. Donuts were great. Not Uncle Joe's or Rose Donuts, but we're right up there with the best of the best if I may say? FYI folks, for me to include any business to the best.....they have to good and be respected because that's how I roll. So the moral of my story is to get out and try other places and visit different spots to explore your taste buds for they (Your taste buds) will thank you for your hospitality. This is Chuy aka Jesse. Saying Buenos Noches to all from the City of Alhambra where I call my place of residance. “I love this place. They have exactly what you would expect from a classic LA donut shop. The staff is super welcoming, kind, and fast. They will sometimes include free donuts in your purchase if you come later in the day. Also, they make incredible fresh sandwiches that I constantly crave. Probably half the price of what you’d get at other spots on sunset, but the same, if not better, quality and flavor.“

“wowzah! I am soooo glad I have waited years before trying a mochinut. Life-changing! I will never each a 'normal' donut again. Chewy, gooey AND crunchily scrumchulicious. Custom-made glazes make THIS Mochinut (the EagleRock one) totally perfect for our local neighborhood. Churros flavor and Horchata flavor are soo redunkculous. oh! Be sure to scoop up an UBE Mochinut when it's out and pair it with Ube Boba.“

“Last weekend, I wanted to visit the Descanso Gardens to get my morning walk before my fitness session. Due to the winter storm weather (heavy rain), the garden was closed for the weekend... bummer! As I was leaving the La Canada Flintridge area, I drove past a donut shop. I noticed its name is called "Golden Donut Place". I thought it was an interesting name and said why not. I haven't had a donut in a while LOL. So I turned back to check this place out. This donut shop seems to be a quite popular. Customers were coming in and out throughout my visit. It's a good size donut joint. They have some indoor eating which is nice because not all donut shops allow dine-in. Atmosphere was comfy. They have a good selection of donuts. I have my go-to donuts... my favorite is the glazed twist and my honorables are custard cream filled, coconut glazed, cinnamon crumb, chocolate twist, maple bar, old-fashion glazed. I'm not much of a fan for cake donut, but I'll eat them if they are the only donut presented in front of me LOL. Anyway, I ended up getting half a dozen... yes, you read right... 6 big ones! LOL I got 2 glazed twists, 1 chocolate twist, 1 custard cream filled (+ $0.30 or $0.35 extra... I don't remember... just know it costs a little bit more LOL), 1 coconut glazed, and 1 maple old-fashion. The glazed twist was good, but nothing compares to Upland Donuts glazed twist... they are still my #1. The custard cream was very light and tasty... not what I'm used to at other donut joints... I liked it a lot... the extra cost was worth it. All the other donuts were good, too. None of them were overly sweet. One of my pet peeve is eating very sweet donuts... it's like eating a few spoonfuls of sugar IMHO. Luckily, I didn't have that experience with these donuts. Staff was very friendly. I constantly heard them saying thank you to their customers. Funny, when I left, I said thank you to them. They were probably surprised that I said it first because I received a hestitated thank you from them. It's all good. I know they have good intentions. Thank you! Anyway, I'll definitely be back here to get my donut fix when I'm visiting the Descanso Gardens area.“
