“Our family enjoyed a delicious and beautifully decorated chocolate mousse layer cake for Easter. The cake was moist and very chocolaty and the mousse in between the layers made it decadent. I also highly recommend the chocolate cupcakes with miniature Oreos on top. We get them for birthday parties because both adults and kids love them. This local bakery is the BEST.“

“Everything is 5 out of 5. Got a few selections and honestly would go everyday, if they don't break my bank. All pastry is full of layers, crispy, flaky. Anything with filling are perfect sweetness and smoothness. They are all big size. Makes a satisfying eat. Coffee is nice and smooth. Staffs are really nice, friendly, and helpful. They have 1 outdoor table. Nice, quiet, and spacious enough to hang comfortably with my dog. Parking in the street or structure. It is pasadena.“

“I highly recommend Yvonne‘s vegan kitchen. Yvonne has some of the best desserts, breads, and pastries that you can’t find anywhere else. I literally drive from Orange County all the way out to Pasadena because her desserts and bread are so amazing. Yvonne goes above and beyond and she is a very kind-hearted Soul and I would not want to put my money into any other business. “I came here to try the cakes. We got the sampler box and was so impressed with the cakes itself. They were extremely tasty, flavorful and rich with flavor. The service was great. It was a small little place with some seating outside. There is also a coffee shop next door if you want to grab some coffee to eat with your cake. We really liked the ube cake, black sesame, Belgian chocolate and lavender lemon.“

“My son loves carrot cake, but he has always hated that many have raisins and pineapple. I live in Long Beach and I couldn’t find a local bakery that would exclude those two for him until I stumbled on The Shredded Carrot on Google. The Yelp reviews were really good and when I called the pleasant attendant said they could definitely exclude raisins and pineapple! I was delighted because I had called many places that said they couldn’t do that for us. I picked up my son’s cake yesterday and I was nervous because we had never had a cake from here. But man! “Ordered the 12" Square famous Strawberry Whipped Crème cake for our monthly office birthday celebrations-- and it was a total hit for 40 sweet tooth employees (serves up to 50 I think). Very fresh and sweet fruits and the whipped crème was light and delicious. Cake also moist and just a touch of sweet. Easy to cut but it's a very tall cake so needed help to keep the slices in tact haha I was in awe watching the owner (?) freestyle write a birthday message on the cake with such ease. Very kind staff (even made sure we wanted the nuts on the outside out of concern for any food allergies). Would order again for sure and look forward to trying more of their confections!“

“My wife and I recently ordered from here last month, and after eating the cake for her birthday, her and I were not feeling well. She left a bad review, but the owner reached out to my wife to make accommodations, which is generous.We ordered 3 types of cupcakes, Devils Food, Carrot, and Birthday Cake. I'm happy to say that these are absolutely delicious. Carrot cake is by far the best, but I'm also a fan of savory and spices, then Devils Food follows. Perfectly moist cake with a balance of frosting sweetness and ingredients. I'm not a cake person, but I'd definitely come back here just for myself since it's so good. “I came in, everything from cookies to the slices of cake looked amazingly delicious!! Definitely the environment felt welcoming and especially the young girl taking control front end with a very positive and well attended to costumers!! When I say I took a bite at the Oreo chocolate slice cake I purchased, wow! Definitely what I was looking for taste and texture from a cake. The cake sponge wasn’t dry nor soggy but texture was at its best touch, the pairing with the frosting wasn’t overwhelming with sweetness but the perfect touch. Wow I say this MOM AND POPS business pls continuing being you and share the amazing love you give in into the next generation of amazing pastries!!! “This was my first time here and I'm super impressed! From the outside of the building to the clean and bright inside, it was a treat coming here. I got an assortment of pastries and desserts and I wasn't disappointed with any of my choices. I couldn't tell you the names of the desserts I took home except for the baklava but picking them out just based on how delicious they looked was definitely exciting and fun. I love trying new things, especially other culture's food and Le Gout doesn't disappoint when it comes to their desserts. I'll have to come back for the food, it all looked very good. Service was friendly and I didn't feel rushed when making my decisions.“

“We love Half Baked! We discovered it, ironically enough, just months before I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2016. Luckily, they have gluten free options a plenty. Of all the gluten free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable for wedding cakes. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto 3 elegant cakes was lovely and classy. The GF spice with cream cheese was the best - our very favorite! There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Natalie assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution. We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them. We highly recommend them for events or anytime, especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank!“

“We found this cute cafe on Google and it was just what we wanted. A perfect place for a low-key cup of coffee and delicious pastry on a Saturday morning with a friend ( my daughter:-). Just FYI, there are only a couple of tables inside, and the parking lot is small and shared, but there is street parking. Arbi the owner was really nice and our almond croissants and lattes hit the spot. I work in Glendale and will definitely stop in again.“
