The beef tastes way better than the one in the yoshinoya. The prices are so good here. Customer service is awesome too. Food comes out fast and they give you big portions.“

We had a great experience at Sushi Monster in Montrose. From start to finish, everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and well taken care of.

The rolls were the standout — beautifully presented, generous portions, and packed with flavor. Each roll tasted fresh and well-balanced, without being overpowered by sauces. The nigiri and sashimi were equally impressive, clearly made with quality fish and attention to detail.

What really elevated the meal, though, was the attentive and friendly service. Our server was knowledgeable, checked in at the right moments, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling rushed or pushy. It made the entire experience feel genuinely enjoyable.

“Top favorite açaí place. The fruit is always fresh. Açaí is delicious and I must say that the granola they use is amazing. I’ve only ever tried the Cali bowl and would rate it a 9.5/10. Staff is friendly. They didn’t charge me extra for more almond butter. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an excellent açaí spot.“

The potatoes are cooked right, the textures work, and nothing feels like filler. It’s satisfying without being overly heavy. But the real surprise for me was The Green Burrito. Egg, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, feta, salsa verde — and I added chorizo. The combination is layered, bright, and bold. The sun-dried tomatoes give it depth, the salsa verde cuts through beautifully, and the chorizo adds that extra savory punch. In my opinion, it actually outshined the bestseller. “So glad my daughter and I stopped here. We each had breakfast burritos and they were excellent. Not only delicious, but big. We both tried the hot salsa and liked it. The atmosphere was very inviting. The service was the best I've received in a very long time. The server was very attentive and sweet. The cook came out and asked if we were enjoying our meal. He was interested in our feedback. We both decided we would be back even though we don't live in the area. It was definitely worth the effort of finding parking. Don't pass this place up

“Not a big fan of sitting on the side of street where people walk by and you intake that fumes coming from all these traffic. Got to sit inside by the bar, the food here is okay, but a bit pricey for what it's worth. Been to many affordable to very expensive sushi places in the U.S. and in Asia, this place is more IG/social media friendly picturesque place than an actual sushi/sashimi place. Not much nigiri/sashimi choices. Not a big fan of places that sell pre-made canned alcohol with an extreme markup.“

The ambiance got me right away so fresh, comfy and elegant! The Bellini is delicious and wow the Italian hash with Italian sausage wow! 🤩 love this place will definitely be back I came on a Saturday at 9:30 and was so happy I could sit down and order food right away! “The best spicy Chinese Food in OC/LA area hands down! They have been Michelin recommended for a reason. Their food has lots of depth of umami flavors with a good amount of spice with a refined touch. Their none spicy broths are especially good too. My faves are their dry pots, toothpick lambs, Qiao Jiao Beef. We also like their spicy ribs and boiled fish in chilli sauce, and Mao cai. Service is great too!“

“Soooo good! This was my first time trying Blossom Market Hall, recommended by a friend, and i absolutely loved my experience here! My sister and I had Rolland sushi, it was the perfect meal! Delicious with the sweetest staff. We also had a great experience with the lovely woman at the bar, she made our night too! Bar prices are GREAT!

“Amazing cocktails in a cozy environment“

“This was my first time at Artelis Patisserie, and I came in without knowing what to order. I asked for recommendations, and the person at the counter was genuinely passionate and took the time to walk me through their pastries and macarons — which I really appreciated.

I’m usually skeptical of French pastries in LA, but I trusted the recommendation and ordered Lé Peanut. It was beautifully executed and very well balanced — not overly sweet, with clearly defined layers. The tempered chocolate finish was done properly: glossy, crisp, and clean.

I also tried the Napoleon, and it was excellent. The puff pastry was caramelized, crisp, and not soggy, with a rich vanilla flavor that felt intentional rather than sugary.

I picked up two macarons as well, and they were surprisingly good — crisp shells, soft interior, and well-made fillings. The milk chocolate Earl Grey had a clear tea note, and the milk chocolate passion fruit was a great sweet-and-tart combination.

Everything I tried showed real technique and care. Beautiful packaging, warm service, and clearly a place that takes pastry seriously. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Had to come here to share how incredible the staff is at this Jinya Ramen. Every single person went the extra mile, goes to show how little details in service can add so much to the experience. I walked in starving at 9pm and was clearly a little short with the servers. Despite that, they were gracious and warm - give them all a raise!

My only criticism is perhaps lowering the volume on the music front (or even switching genres to something more easy listening) as this is a hindrance in the otherwise lovely atmosphere with the fire pit.
