“Incredible dishes! We started with biscuits which were warm flaky and heavenly with perfect butter. Celery was refreshing and crunchy - highly recommend as a contrast to biscuits.

We also got calamari which were perfectly crispy, I was not the biggest fan of the sauce, but my husband liked it. For main course both the rosemary chicken and the steak were amazing!

In terms of seating we got the table on the patio which had great atmosphere except for trains passing by. I think next time I would book indoor table, but we 100% want to come as all the food was incredible.“

“The valley's hidden Gem!! I heard about this place from my hair dresser months ago and have been meaning to check it out. I went there last night for my birthday with a few friends and it was worth the wait.
Such a quaint classic place with amazing wine from Napa, and the cheeses were out of this world-delish! Make sure you order the warm baguette, its a perfect compliment to the cheeses. I’ll tell ya, the wine and food was pretty amazing, but if you don’t have the right staff, then a place could fall short. The 2 guys that run it made the experience top notch! And the ghost playing the piano against the wall was an added bonus! :-)

Jeff, the bartender/server/sommelier with a past in the entertainment industry was fun, informative, and accommodating-and running the entire front establishment on his own.Outstanding customer service and never made anyone feel ignored. Hats off to Jeff! Definitely listen to his suggestions-he knows wines and cheeses. Then you have Nick, the soft spoken, former drama teacher now turned chef who delivers the entrees in the most respectful manner. Come to find, this guy was the lead role in Les Miserable with a voice that would put Hugh Jackman to shame! We got to hear/see a clip of his performance. I guess if you stay till closing, you get to know the employees.
Both men were exceptional in service and knowledge, and the food and wine were perfection! Cant wait to go back“

And look, I know, don’t go to a fancy wine bar expecting value, but the price of many of the simple dishes (salads, simple pastas without meat) were above normal even for LA. “Bacari Glendale: It is a beautiful place we have always wanted to go to. We took two friends for a belated birthday dinner (and as the staff realized it was just that, they even rewarded us with a delicious birthday dessert :-). Great service, nice ambiance, and delicious food - we had the bread (could have been a bit more for the $4,50), then shared the Mac & Cheese topped up with the pear and brie pizza that was the best.“

“This was my second visit to Entre Nous French Bistro, and it absolutely confirmed what I felt the first time—this place is a hidden gem. We came yesterday to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and everything about the evening was simply perfect.

We were a party of five and shared a variety of dishes that showcased the kitchen’s finesse and authenticity. We started with the Daily Pick Oysters, which were impeccably fresh and beautifully presented. The Tartare de Saumon was bright and delicate, and the Escargots de Bourgogne were everything you’d hope for—garlicky, buttery, and so satisfying. The Homemade Duck Pâté was another standout—rich, rustic, and perfectly paired with fresh baguette slices.

For entrées, we had the Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb, Magret de Canard, French Fries, and the Salmon special of the day. Every single dish was a hit. The meats were expertly cooked to temperature, the sauces were layered and flavorful, and the sides were just as impressive. Even the fries deserve a shoutout—crispy, golden, and addictive.

The service was warm, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. They made sure my sister felt celebrated, and we never once felt rushed. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, with just the right touch of French charm.

Entre Nous continues to impress, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in town. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, this bistro delivers every time. Already looking forward to visit number three!“

Filippo, the owner knows his Italian wines very well and does an excellent job with the pairing of the wines with the food, so definitely ask for him and ask him to do that for you.Dargenzio Winery also has a good amount of outdoor space, which is a plus in these times. I can highly recommend this place to go for a good time. The wine was OK - which sounds as if something was wrong - it wasn't. As with the wine, we wanted to share. We started with the baked brie, which was really really good, and the burrata flatbread, which came soaked, and I really mean soaked, in Oil. We were here to share, weren't we ;-)I asked for the check. The printer had issues. Happens. We were not in a rush. Service offered a sip of wine while we had to wait. Sure, a nice gesture. Sadly, the wine never came. After just under half an hour, we got some sort of check - still issues with the printer. We were charged $61 for the wines - they were charged separately and not, as per the menu and recommendation, as the $49 offer. $12 was refunded. “We've been attending a handful of concerts at Hollywood Bowl this year. We loved Fattoush Salad (different recipe from how our family makes Fattoush Salad) but was delicious! The Lamb Chops were OK, but Spanish Fried Chicken was just fried, you can't taste or see any chicken meat inside. I have a feeling all vegie dishes here might be delicious, but not the ones with any meat. Service and atmosphere were amazing! We will go back to try different dishes, but for sure to have the Fattoush Salad.“

Brandon greeted us at the door and made sure everything about the meal was perfect. The space is large but still felt cozy and the atmosphere is very inviting. We order a tasty starter to share and the short rib pasta which was sublime. I am Italian and the freshly made pasta and delicate, yet robust sauce, reminded me of my ancestral home in italy. There are plenty of authentic Italian options as well as a really interesting and large vegan menu. I love vegan food and can't wait to return and sample some things from that side of the menu. This is a terrific local eatery that feels both special and homey and we will definitely be back.“

This was my 3rd time and each time just keeps getting better; definitely the bigger the party, the better. We paid $225 for 4 pasta entrees, 3 appetizers, & 2 glasses of wine for a party of 6. I’ve learned to like my pastas al dente after having them here. The meatballs are banging, the wine-pairing was delightful. “This was our first time dining at Little Beast, and our meal and service were excellent.
We sat in the covered patio area and started with the beet salad with burrata on a bed of arugula that we shared. For a person who has disliked beets their entire life, I have been slowly working to try them more often. Surprisingly, I liked the salad a lot and would order it again.
For my main meal, I had the Porterhouse pork chop, which is the first time I ever had this cut, and it was quite good. It was tender and juicy. It was also a little undercooked close to the bone, but I suppose that is not unusual considering you wouldn't want it to be dry and tough from overcooking. They were very kind to substitute any gluten items I couldn't eat for another non-gluten item. Because of this, I was able to try the kimchi rice cake, and that thing is a craveable morsel. My husband had the grilled flat iron steak. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It came with chausser sauce, which is a rich dark sauce made with wine and mushrooms. It's so good I could drink it, lol.“
