“I had the Pollo Saltado with white rice. The food was very tasty and well cooked. The server was very nice and asked us several times how our food tasted. This is a really small restaurant, but I always enjoy eating here. You have to try this spot!“

“I’ve passed by this spot numerous times and thought I’d check it out with my coworker.

The corn nut starter is delicious and addictively good. I ordered their jalea de Mariscos and bandeja paisa. The fried seafood was excellent and with the tartar sauce it was great.

The bandeja was also very delicious with lots of protein and the pork was crispy deliciousness. Overall it was an excellent lunch!

“Music is a little loud, place can use a better ventilation system to clear the food, the onion and grease smell of the place which stays in clothing and hair hours after we left then place. But overall, we would come back for another b owl of pho next time .“

“Truly a hidden gem. The chef and his wife go above and beyond to create a welcoming and memorable culinary experience for diners. I recently organized a work team lunch and arrived to the location as it was just opening. We had the establishment to ourselves and the attention and care paid to each dish was superb! The appetizers and main dishes were full of flavor and artistry. My only lament was that they were short on Agua de maracuya or ensalada de fruta to drink. Delicious and definitely going back!

“This place caught my eye as I was driving by because he was standing outside waiting by the street. For me? No, for his friend walking by. Looks like he is pretty generous and always ready to help someone in need.

I walked inside and this place harkens back to yesteryear. It's my first time but I feel like I've been here. . . in a past life. It's very fun in there. It's immersive. He welcomes you at the door as others have said. He recommended a dish and I don't really know which one exactly, but it's super good.

It's steak, tomato, red onion, and French fries on a bed of rice. I gotta admit I was a little apprehensive because of how old and run-down the place looked. But this was so good, I'm definitely coming back. The meat was cooked nicely, seasoned or marinated nicely, the fries looked underdone but they were cooked through and still held together by the time I got home without getting soggy.

FAIR WARNING. When he offers salsa picoso, it's very spicy, like skip mild medium, go straight to spicy-burns-your mouth.

I spent 22 bucks on this plate. So it's not a cheap plate, but it is a fair amount of food for the price. I ate half and I'll save half. Works for me.“

“We went on a Friday night on a date and sat at the bar and had an amazing time. Not only was every food item fantastic Ethan was also a great server and chef offering great recommendations such as the chutoro moo which made my partner’s favorite and the Nikkei bluefin tuna which was mine. “The wait time was a little too long then planned after we sat down. I ordered the chica Mordada and my friend ordered the papaya fresca. The papaya fresca came in a small pitcher which was a large amount of fresh juice for the price I thought after comparing it to thecost of an orange juice that comes in a glass at IHOP. I ordered the polo con arroz, it was nice I had two pieces of chicken roasted on top of rice that was seasoned well and had a nice cilantro spiciness taste. My friend had the steak and potato fries with a fried egg on top of his arroz. We both enjoyed our meals which was really good. We sat there for a while and they did not say anything to chit chat to catch up with each other. We didn't ask for the check gave a nice tip and left. Definitely a great Peruvian restaurant.

update revisit: Server was awesome tonite. very attentive, Arroz Chaufa de Pollo was delicious with great green onion flavor with lots of it in the dish. fresh and hot.“
