“Was on my way to get a burger down the road (IYKYK which chain burger place). Decided to try the food here and was a great decision to stop by. Burger and fries were so good!
The Wedge burger, medium, with lettuce, tomato, bacon jam.... yes, bacon jam, and a ton of blue cheese. Will definitely come back, especially since it's on my drive home from work.“

Parking: There are good number of spots in front of the location and then there is a huge shared parking lot with home Depot and del Taco that isn't being used by the other businesses later in the night and is never full in the day anyway.“

“This year we chose Black Bear diner for the location of our annual Chrispen Team Pumpkin Pie giveaway, and we couldn't have been more impressed. The manager Isaid was amazing from the start helping me plan the event and order hundreds of pies. The large patio provided a private and cheerful atmosphere and was the perfect spot for the event. Carlos and the rest of the staff were amazingly attentive and handled everything we needed on the day of the event. All of our clients raved about how delicious the pies were and loved the convenient location. We can't wait to come back next year!“

“What a great new addition to Brea! We were impressed by the quality and variety of their offerings. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and the team brings everything out fresh. We ordered the Beef Empanadas to start and we got these mains - Salmon Bowl, Peri Peri Chicken Plate, California Burger, Gaucho Steak Sandwich to share.

The Beef Empanada was so good, with the flakey crust. Our entire party really enjoyed all the dishes, the portions were generous and tasted delicious. We also got the Triple Chocolate Cookie which was the perfect finish.

Overall, this is a great option for lunch and dinner. They also have a nice patio that’s dog friendly. Their staff was ultra friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!“

Michael our server came out and created us, by saying it was so nice to see you here again. Michael remember our drink order and promtly brought it out to us. “I've been going to Pieloon for a few years now and it is THE BEST restaurant in Downey! The food is always fabulous, the portions are large, the service is perfect! I've had appetizers, salads, pastas, steaks, burgers, sandwiches (I'm addicted to the BLT) and many of their specials. My family and I go now 2x a week and have trouble deciding what to get because it's all so good! And the pies...their pumpkin pie is the best I've ever had and the blueberry cheesecake is fabulous...but just wait until fresh peach pie season...I'll gain weight just thinking about it...the fresh peach is the best pie I've ever, EVER had! I love this place and the people who work there!! They're like family now!“

“THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! Run don’t walk to eat here. It’s in a unique area that looks like a business district but the food is amazing! The burger and the French fries were so good and crispy! We also loved the Wild Caught Salmon! I will be coming back for the Breakfast Burrito. The best part is you can tell the owner cares to only find high quality ingredients. This place is a hidden gem and excited I discovered it!“

“I stopped by Country Cafe and had a great breakfast experience. This is a small, mom-and-pop-style restaurant that feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. The place was very clean, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and provided great customer service.

We ordered the Popeye Omelet, Hobo Omelet, and French Toast. My favorite dish was the Popeye Omelet, which comes with fresh spinach, bacon, onions, mushrooms, and Jack cheese. I added soyrizo and potatoes, and it took the omelet to another level — absolutely delicious and very satisfying. While I didn’t personally try the Hobo Omelet or the French Toast, my kids ordered those and they loved both, which says a lot. Portions were solid, and everything looked fresh and well-prepared.

Overall, Country Cafe offers a comfortable, home-style atmosphere with tasty breakfast options and excellent service. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot you can come back to again and again, and I’ll definitely be returning.“
