“So my brother brought donuts over to my house and he bought them from these. These are the best donuts I think I've ever tried. He bought the croissant donuts to make the one that I'm eating. They're so flaky and they have layers. No lie. This is like the best don't I think I've ever had in my life and it's so close to home. I've never been to this donut shop. I think maybe I stopped there before but never really paid attention. Didn't get the croissant donuts. These are a must try the croissant donuts. I give it a 10 out of 10. And he said that was like $17 for a dozen of donuts. That's not bad because other places charge more.“

“After having a horrible day I decided to go with my granddaughter and a friend with the thought of just getting a donut. My granddaughter and friend decided on couple drinks that I hadn't anticipated needing money for needless to say I only had enough to purchase their items and I was ok with that. The employee asked if I had decided on what I wanted I told her I was fine it had been a bad day and just wanted to take my granddaughter she asked if I was sure I said yes . After paying for their items with literally exact money on hand she handed me a cute little donut I mentioned It wasn't mine and she smiled and said she wished me a better day I thanked her and walked out holding tears because that little gesture meant the world.
A great Thank you to that employee from someone who battles with depression.“
“I've been going here for 15 years+. They have the best tasting water. I live a hour away and we moved in 2019 and that never stopped us from going. The owner is super nice as well is her daughter. I love getting my iced tea there as well.“

“Overall, it's a really great spot for a quick breakfast and donut.
Their service is amazing. SUPER friendly folks and very nice. Lovely people I'd love to start every morning with.
Their food was good. Basic sandwiches that get you through the day and their donuts are always delicious.
It's tucked in a strip mall of a busy street. Outside can sometimes have some sketchy people, but the workers didn't seem phased. Like they're used to it.

“Sometimes between shifts I don't have much time to get my early dinner. Moderns is the perfect place to go. The Hawaiian sandwich became my favorite right away, although the chicken one was taaasty! The mocha? Perfection. Chocolaty but not too sweet. Same for their fruity aguas frescas. They happen to be the new owners and they are super sweet!“
“I buy their coffee in 12 oz boxes from a local oriental store in San Diego. EXCELLENT robust flavor with a hint fragrance similar but not as strong as hazelnut. The box does not specify that it was flavored with hazelnut but the resulting taste give it that hint. The only negative thing i can say about it is that only one store in San Diego sell this coffee. None of the starbucks coffee can even come close to the superb taste of this coffee and for a lot less money ! Can't even find an online seller of this product, i wish their website start selling it in packages !“

“The layout of this Starbuck is somewhat unique with the employees all behind secure windows and everything is served through windows. I don't know if this has to do with security or just a design. The windows are very large so gives an open space feeling but then the noise from the street is significant. In regards to the food, it's the typical overpriced Starbucks drinks.“

“The bagels are always fresh and coffee made to order. Love the helpful staff and very quick to get orders served to you. If you're even in the area stop by for your morning coffee or freshly squeezed juice. Yes they have a variety of fresh juices that you can also order to go.“

“We come here almost everyday, food is ALWAYS HOT &FAST. One time we got two happy meals with the nuggets missing! But I called the customer service on the receipt and I received a letter in the mail and a free medium combo. Definitely Was not worth those years from my 3 year old boys tho :(“
