“Was craving yogurt so went to my local Menchies. I've been here a few times and i love it. The shop is small, has a few tables, but its clean and tidy. The yogurt stations and topping stations were clean and neat. The yogurt tastes great and they have so many toppings. Service has always been friendly and accommodating. Will be back soon!“

“Came here to try their Pan de Elote and their Chocolate Cake. The Pan de Elote was amazing - specially topped with ice cream! The Chocolate Cake was too dense and sweet for my liking but definitely coming back for their Pan de Elote! They have their own lot so parking was easy for us.“

“Visited Porto’s Bakery for the first time when in West Covina (reside in Washington). We went on Easter morning expecting it to be super busy. To our luck it was busy, but no line! We got there at 10am and it was raining so we lucked out. They had several staff drying the floor and directing traffic to enserie everyone’s safety avoiding slips. They have an amazing system in place to get customers to the right counter. Everything we tried was fresh and super tasty. We tried the Potato Balls, Cheese Rolls, Refugiado, Chicken Empanada, Torrejas, breakfast croissants, Pork Tamales and a few other pastries along with lattes, guava lemonade & hot chocolate. We went all out! There was not one item that we bought that was bad or that we wouldn’t buy again. I was able to buy several items to bring back home. So we had a wonderful breakfast there and had several pastries and goodies to bring home.“

“If your ever in Downtown Glendora stop by Crust And Crumble they have a breakfast sandwich called The Crusty. It is a real breakfast sandwich. Toasted sourdough, fluffy eggs, quality bacon, provolone cheese, garlic aoli, with arugula. Fffffwwwww. This ain't McDonald's folks you get what you pay for. Oh they close early and are pretty busy but it's worth it. Bakery items are all delicious especially there danishes and pumpkin loaf when they have it .“

“From the first visit, Civitas has been our favorite ever since! Whenever we are out of town and try another coffee shop we always compare that coffee shop to Civitas. "Is it as good as Civitas?" The answer is very rarely a "yes". Our regular order is an unsweetened iced oat milk latte! And I would like to say that it doesn't give us "that first sip feeling", it gives us "that every sip feeling"! Wonderful baristas, delicious coffee, and reasonable prices! :)“

“I don’t normally leave reviews for restaurants but this place really impressed me. I had a work lunch meeting with a colleague here and it was a fantastic experience! I had the ranch wrap with grilled chicken and fried green tomatoes on the side…it was wonderful! Tasted fresh and the chicken was so flavorful! “Pinnacle Peak in San Dimas truly earns its five stars from me. The food is delicious, especially the perfectly cooked steaks that are literally bursting with flavor. What sets this place apart is the variety of dinner options available, each accompanied by fresh salad, warm bread, and sides that complement the main dish perfectly. The atmosphere is very western, the service is quick, and every detail is carefully attended to. Also, if you wear a tie there they'll cut it off and hang it up on their walls. Parking can be very tricky because their lot isn't that big, and they get very crowded come evening time.“

“Update: 2024. Been back since my “ missing avocado toast” incident. Almond butter croissant is excellent and told to WAIT for the toast when paying and receiving my bakery items. They have seating for small parties of 1-4……..The service is friendly but they’re all trying to help each other with larger orders and no one verifying completeness but of course they charged full order with $8 avocado toast missing. And yet, I’ll be back because those damn chocolate almond croissants are ridiculously good.“

A great local wholesale bakery in an industrial park behind a shopping center in Santa Fe Springs near Carmenita and Telegraph Road. The community was in love with the wonderful smell in the air that the owner decided to include retail sales.I found out about this bread through The Bee Hive, a wonderful restaurant in Whittier. No more bread from the local supermarket or farmers’market. This is the place to go if you live close by or just want to adventure!“

“This was at least a 5☆experience I have only had breakfast here because I'm a big fan of their eggs benedict. Today I was in the mood for the filet mignon w/Bernaise sauce. It was very good. However, next time I will request the filet to be medium rather well done. Usually get the more traditional benny one with the shoulder ham that I can get only here. A very tasty style bacon which I really prefer. The times we have come, we have been blessed with outstanding servers, especially today (See picture). He has a very unique name that I unfortunately forgot how to pronounce let alone spell. What a top notch individual, very professional, friendly and an absolute delight! We had just returned from 5 glorious days in Santa Barbara eating at the best it had to offer. Thought when we got back home it would be the end of being pampered. I was wrong. Since the last time I was here, it somehow seemed to have expanded, yet the location had not changed. They must have remodeled the interior and added seating. I also noticed an area on the counter for pre-order pickups. They are also launching an app for customer loyalty rewards. Looks like I have been missing out on some good deals. I didn't mind waiting in the regular line. They have four cashiers that take the next customer, this really helped move the line along. I simply placed some muffins and biscottis on the counter, and selected two cakes. The first was a 10" round Lemon cake, the second was a rectangular Cheesecake. It was not easy to narrow it down to these two when Red Velvet, Chocolate, Tiramisu, and Strawberry Cream was available. “It was 11:30 am on a Saturday morning. It was very crowded upon arrival but waited 40 minutes for a table. We ordered our food and it took 20-25 minutes to get our waters. Kind of annoyed, as it was hot outside, on the patio. The long wait was probably my only complaint. I ordered the classic pancakes with scrambled eggs with a potato side. My friend ordered a skillet dish. The food came out on bright blue plates and the pancakes were so fresh. I'm literally obsessed!! Hehe. The eggs were cooked well and everything was delicious. We met "Auntie" as she came to our table and said some really kind words. I asked if she was the manager and she corrected me and said, the owner. I'm Auntie! That's sooooo cool! I had to ask for more water while eating the noodles but they were really good. Noodles were medium heat, I don’t think I could handle “hot” and I like spicy foods. “*Honest viewpoint* 4.5 stars I did not like it several months ago the service was bad and the way the smoothies were made were not my cup of tea. Once I noticed new management I decided to give it another try. The new manager Jason has been very welcoming and great with suggestions. I'm understanding that a lot of new people have been under training so my orders has had some hiccups. But I know it pissed my boyfriend off when he paid for two bowls and they weren't full like they normally were. But overall it's coming together better than before. Love how they are making the juices before they were horrible.. now I prefer the juices and smoothies here. :)“

“I love coming here! The breads are delicious, though some of them are on the smaller side (if you go to other bakeries, they're usually bigger for comparable prices). But mostly I'm crazy about the drinks, haha. I'm obsessed w their hot jasmine green tea & oolong milk tea, they're my perfect cold weather comfort drinks. The wait time for the drinks is always pretty long, though (expect 15-20 min) and sometimes I question the music they're playing bc it doesn't really give "café" vibes lmao“

“I go to BJ's five nights a week...always after my shifts. I don't eat here too often, but usually come in to wet my whistle. The bar staff is one of the best. Daniel, one of the bartenders, is a favorite of mine and always on top of everything while maintaining a friendly attitude to me and all his customers. “This cute bakery in downtown San Dimas had caught fire a few weeks ago. The opening was yesterday after the renovation, and it is simply adorable! They have some new items on the menu now they have outdoor seating and all the same friendly, helpful faces. They added a vegan option to the menu which is an Alaskan bake, it is delicious! If you haven't tried their sweet, tamales definitely a must! And if you're looking for a dessert to share with the family you need to try their giant cookie sandwich full of delicious ice cream in the middle. Stop bye and and treat yourself to a treat.
