“I order every week I just ordered again right now this place is the best. The gyoza is the best I haven't found anything better in the last 5yrs anywhere else. Im very simple guy gyoza and the spicy miso ramen 😋 its 🔥 most of the time I get it delivered now since im busier than before but when I go in a get there super cold 🥶 🍻 beers. “Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“Best ramen spot I’ve been to! It was my First time trying HiroNori and I was blown away. The pork was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, the Yuzuade was super refreshing, and even the rice was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Definitely coming back!“

“First time here and I really enjoyed my meal. Had the Chicken meatballs in chicken broth, mild with a side of pork gyozas. The atmosphere was really chill, I read my books as I waited for my meal. I'm definitely going back to try out their other options, maybe no spice to try out the broth without the heat of the spice.“

“Hands down the BEST ramen I've ever had anywhere. They make their own ramen and they've perfected it. I've been enjoying it for the last 4 years while my son was going to Pomona College but now that he's graduated, I enjoyed my last bowl of their ramen yesterday. No other place I've been to in CA, OR, or WA comes close. I will miss Menkoi Ya Ramen!“

“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.

Last time I liked having ramen was when I was running around in an orange jumper. Hope the guys and gals stay in business.“

“Hands down one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had locally. The fish was incredibly fresh and clearly high quality, and the pricing felt like excellent value for what you’re getting.

We had the toro, A5 wagyu, shima aji, the Oyishi roll, and the BG salmon roll—every single bite was outstanding. You can really tell the care and skill that goes into the food.

On top of that, the chef was personable, welcoming, and genuinely nice, which made the whole experience even better. This is officially my new favorite sushi spot and has earned a permanent place in my go-to rotation. Highly recommend.“

“This place is fairly close to the airport which was great! We got to enjoy a wonderful dish of ramen before flying out. The employees were kind and very helpful. We were greeted with a smile and was gave a concise summary of the menu. We both order the spicy chicken ramen and a sample of all the gyozas. We would recommend ordering both dishes!“

“Smaller than expected but I enjoyed the food! I got the: Chicken Karaaga Bowl. The chicken was jucy on the inside and extra crispy on the outside. I liked how they added ginger to it and really complements the dish. They also have Soy Sauce and Gyoza Sauce on the tables to add if needed. Really enjoyed the meal and I had the large size. Is also very wallet friendly.“
