“Had appetizers, and drinks at the bar. It was packed, but service did not waver. When evrryone in our party had arrived, we asked to move into the dining room. After closing out our tab, we were graciously moved into the dining room where we ordered the deviled eggs and pondered which bottle of wine we would drink. We arrived around 4 and spent the time catching up, eating, drinking, and enjoying the atmosphere till about 8 p.m. We didn't get rushed along nor did we get any sideway glances for being at the table so long. The places was a great place to spend time with family and relax after a week of working.

Vegetarian options: There is enough options here to make a meal. Salads, baked potatoes, and a jalapeño popper type dish that can be vegetarian if request the bacon kept off the dish. They offer broccolini, cauliflower, and other fried vegetables. These looked very good as they passed by our table to others ables around us.“

“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“i come from a place with a LOT of good beer around. visiting here, i’ve been looking for good beer and coming up short. la verne brewing was no exception. the beer is perfectly fine, but my five-sample flight didn’t include anything that made me sit up and take notice. however, i noticed that the crowd seemed to be regulars and the vibe was warm and welcoming and there was live music on tap as well as beer. it seems like a great place to go if you’re not either a serious connoisseur or just a little bit spoiled.“

Us realtors at KALEO used to go there to get their lunch special all the time during the week, or for office meetings. You will notice right away as you walk in, that the atmosphere is rustic but inviting. The service was warm prompt and friendly and the food was very good, the sushi was very battery and succulent. We shared a bento box and a rainbow roll for our lunch, it was so good. Not only were we very happy with the quality but there was plenty of food to fill both of us up. “Delicious Mexican food. Anything you pick on the menu you will enjoy. My favorite is the Chile Verde, though. The green sauce is really good. You can get on almost anything, too. They also make amazing Chile Relleno burritos. Oh, and the champurado on a cold day is absolutely perfect.

Parking: There's a limited amount of parking, though. Sometimes, you need to have a little bit of patience. But it's worth it.“
