This is Toastique in Ladera Ranch, and this place basically looks like a wellness mood board you can eat.

First, the Avocado Smash Toast.
Avocado, watermelon radish, marinated tomatoes and chili — almost too pretty to eat.
Almost.
Then the Mango Tango Smoothie Bowl with mango, pineapple, lime and coconut water. This one just tastes like summer.
For something refreshing, I tried the Radiance Over Ice — grapefruit, orange, blood orange, pineapple and basil.
And of course, a Matcha Latte because apparently I’m in my wellness era now. 😂

“This was such a cute cozy, tucked away cafe that had a warm and rustic atmosphere, which was perfect for slowing down and enjoying a quiet coffee moment. The cafe only has a few seats inside and outside and definitely can get crowded quickly. There is a parking structure near by for parking.

There were quite a few different items to choose from; but ended up with the Pistachio Latte which was smooth, nutty, and lightly sweet.“

“I’m from SC. I wanted to surf fish while here and brought a rod/reel with me on the plane. I’m here for 5 days total. On day 1 I wanted to try a local doughnut. I saw they had gluten free. I don’t need it but my kids do. I bought some from a dude in a flannel shirt. I thought it weird, but it’s California so whatever. I got them back to the place we were staying and we all sampled about six different doughnuts. 🤯 OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! I’m a Krispy Kreme lifer but DANG THESE ARE GOOD. Today I went back and bought 6 more. These are expensive so there went my fishing budget but it’s worth it because my kids and enlaws loved it. My father enlaw said the maple bacon should be illegal it’s so good. Listen there are a lot of choices here but if you are going to try just 1 or several this should be your first stop and if like me it will be the only one you need. I’m not big on California, sorry, but the only thing better than the weather and scenery are these incredible doughnuts. 🤯“

We were on our walk yesterday, Wednesday around 2 pm. No vehicles on the drive thru yet, so we just walked up to the window.

I got the Caramel Granita with oat-milk, it is like medium sweet drink, nice and refreshing.

The girl at the window was so patient, great suggestions, excellent customer service.

The ambiance is fun in the initial space and both the indoor and outdoor spaces are very inviting.

We had the CA omelette & GF protein waffle, their Coastal iced coffee & a dirty chai. All of it was yummy!

“The matcha flight is straight amazing but for $19 it better be! Seriously though ALL flavors were great we added a pandan foam and that was my favorite, strawberry awesome and so was the banana although it was chunky. Mango was my least favorite but honestly was still good. Cappuccino wasn’t my favorite but still decent. Definitely recommend the matcha. My daughter thinks it is best is OC. And she works at matcha cafe in NYC. Loved this place so much!

“I’m vegan and I was so delighted to see that they had Vegan 🎾 🌱 Chia pudding for breakfast. It’s all organic 25 g of protein and it’s absolutely delicious. It taste like tiramisu. They have other flavors as well but I got there right at seven when they open and the girls greeted me with a smile, answered my questions about milk alternatives, and what ingredients were in the syrups. I’m very picky and they accommodated my every request with super helpful spirits, I will definitely be coming back here and making this one of my stops.

“While on my morning walk I found this cute lil cafe that sits directly on the beach by the San Clemente Pier. My son got the bagel breakfast sandwich & coffee, my daughter got the nutella toast & I got the acai bowl. We all thought our food was good. We will def be back on our next visit there!“
