Since my pregnancy started and I tried their wood fired rosemary bagel I crave it all the time!! It's getting a little ridiculous just how often in my second trimester I have ordered a rosemary bagel with cream cheese and a matcha latte from 7Seas. Would literally have it everyday of the week if I had no self control left. They had a seasonal marshmallow (cloud) matcha latte I couldn't resist and now miss. There are very few outlets for laptops, so if you're planning to work/study, come with your laptop fully charged and be prepared to leave your device plugged in next to someone else. I have only been here twice, but it's now a situation where we need to stop by when we come this way. I remember enjoying my drink on my last visit, I believe I probably ordered a lavender latte. This time I tried the matcha latte, blue hummingbird style with spirulina. I have come to the conclusion that I am not really a fan of matcha with added vanilla or syrup. I like it straight and bitter. So, that was a bit sweet but the drink was cute. Service is A-OK. It was slow this last time. However, the location makes this place a gem. “I like this place. I come here to study often because of the convenience and I like how study-friendly it is (provides plenty of outlets and a printer). For prices, it's pretty decent. The drinks are OK, not the best but they'll do. I like the Avocado Dreamy and the Thai Tea. Past few times I've come here, the boba has been kind of hard in the middle, so if you can go without it, I'd skip. Also, the food is kind of whatever. The wings have a good flavor but past few times I've come they've been lukewarm. Today, I tried the potato corn dog and it was pretty disappointing. It was smaller than my palm, barely any cheese inside, and burned to a crisp. You're better off going to Mochinut around the corner. However, because I come here often and because I love the workers I can giving it 4 out of 5 stars.“
“My last review was so many years ago! We continue to love Lolas, we go almost every Sunday. They have so many vegan and vegetarian options. I love that they got rid of the plates and are back to serving food on the wood boards. My old favorite mixed berry flatbread wasn't as great a month or so ago, maybe because it wasn't berry seasons, but the Sunrise Flatbread is my new obsession. It is so good, just wish I could order it ahead on the clover app - there is some glitch that makes it requires to add 5 items on the flatbread in order to add it to your cart.“

I got the matcha latte with almond milk, aloe, and %25 sweetness and it was great! Not too sweet, which is what I prefer. Next time I'll try with boba and give a review on that quality. Today I was just in the mood for my basics. The aloe bits were juicy though and sweet.Cute ambiance as well, with nice chairs and fun Halloween decor. Seems like a great place to bring kids too. “We first received advertisement in the mail and were drawn by the photo of the beautiful strawberry cream puff. Stopped by the bakery just 20 minutes before closing and most of the items were sold out. After we told the bakery owner lady that we went there for the Strawberry Cream Puff but all sold out, she went ahead to make the fresh ones for us.... What a great customer service!!! “Under new ownership. Been here a few times now and it has the best coffee and best breakfast food in Lake Forest. They have some amazing Deli sandwiches made with fresh veggies. Honestly the best sandwich in Lake Forest that I can remember. The shop is super classic cafe style. It used to be a Starbucks, and now has super friendly touch of customer service. The portions are massive so I haven't had the space to try out their fresh pastries. They are a bakery at heart and bake fresh every morning. Their breakfast sandwiches are made with the best bread selection. Flaky croissants melty cheese. The eggs in there sandwiches are unbelievably fluffy. Definitely recommend this place to all locals. Oh and they have boba, Frappuccino too“

“I recommend trying this place out if you're in the area. They have really unique drinks that you can't find anywhere else. They have a good mixture of milk teas and fruit teas as well as some snack items which I have yet to try. The drinks do not taste artificial at all which is one of the things I look for in a good boba spot. My only complaint is that I got the pink guava oasis which is guava juice with jasmine green tea and lime...but I only tasted the guava juice. My friend got the baby peach with cheese foam and you couldn't really taste the tea in there either. I'll probably go back and try some of the milk teas but so far their fruit drinks are pretty one dimensional. You place your order on a tablet which can look overwhelming but it gives you the freedom to customize your drink to your liking. Price wise...it's pretty expensive for a drink but taken into consideration that they use 0 calorie sugar and real fruit it does seem fair.“

They have all sort of entrees from breakfast, sandwiches, salads, and poke bowls. My usual order would be a turkey, swiss sandwich on a croissant which is to die for, but my review today will be for their poke bowls. For their poke bowls, you're able to choose between 3 or 5 scoops which is either $10 or $11 which is such a steal. From there, you can customize your bowl to you liking by choosing your base, sides, protein, sauces and toppings. My poke bowl tasted super fresh, the quality of fish was super good. The portions are huge as well so a 5 scoop def made me full. Overall, don't sleep on Alton Cafe. It has the best lunches!“
