“This was our first brunch at Batch and Brine and it was so delicious! Im not sure why we’ve only been for dinner?! We will be back soon for brunch! Chicken and waffles with fresh fruit were a hit!! They make their own pastrami and use it for hash! Every bite of pastrami was so tender, meaty, and flavorful. I prefer it to any corned beef hash. It was Father’s Day and very busy but the staff were all individually friendly, calm, organized, attentive and really worked well together as a team! They really had some very special items on the menu (mimosa flights etc). I can’t wait to try pastrami sandwich for lunch/dinner. Burgers are always reliable, juicy, flavorful and substantial. Excellent fries, salads, tacos and cocktails!! Recommend 100% for a casual but well crafted menu, indoor/outdoor seating and friendly attentive service!“

“An incredible spot to enjoy some top quality draft ciders. I'm not an expert on ciders by any means, but I've had some incredible stuff here (I've particularly loved anything I've had from Yonder). The vibes here are great, the bartenders are lovely, and they have some great merch for sale! My mom who visits from out of state has bought a tote bag, hat, and sweatshirt from Redfield just so she can flex to her friends back home how awesome this bar is. If you enjoy cider, or even if you just want to stop in for a quick beer, this is a great and classy place to come to. Love Redfield!“

“Wow! Back in the palace of blended drinks and fine seating arrangements. The frozen drinks were theatrical, but colder than expected. Please sip with caution. The wooden interior reminded me of what it means to be alive. I am wistful for the glittered sea shell toilet seat. Where are they? Please. Someone respond. If you come here, you will leave. “I really like this place. I always feel welcomed and it's a great place to chill out and have a drink. No muss, no fuss deal. The place can get crowded on a good night and also be lively in the daytime at lunch. Pool table, maybe some days, and good music creates a positive fun vibe. Also, It's a puppy palace! Dogs welcome, keep them close/on leash and be respectful, people love to see them and interact. Take a friend, go alone, whichever it is, I hope you enjoy. But that’s the whole point, you’re here to drink traditional and familiar fantastic drinks! I started coming here with friends a while back and over time many of the bartenders and other employees became like friends! As a woman I always felt safe as they had their eye on everything going on, and I always had a blast anytime I came. Specifically, Peppi and Michelle, really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I had to move away and they spent money out of their own pockets to throw my a going away party at the bar. I have never experienced a closeness like this to an establishment where I’m a guest, and it was very appreciated. “Neighborhood tavern on the edge of gentrification with mix of middle aged friendly patrons and staff. One pool table. Across the street from what was a 1/4 pound burger joint that’s still serving up a good burger among other fare.“

“Wow I didn’t realize how popular this place would be! 7pm on a Weds and we couldn’t find a table for our small group. But the super kind server, Josh, helped us and said they sometimes hold a few spots for larger groups so I’m glad we asked. Josh continued to impress - checking on us, making sure the kiddo with us was well-situated in the hidden kid’s book nook, and giving honest opinions of the drink offerings (letting us try samples before deciding). The vibe was great — screen-free, dimly lit, and full of books 🤩🤩“

“Always a fun time, if you havent tried it its worth a stop. Coffee shop by day, bar evenings thurs-sun. They have an awesome Happy hour on thursdays at the time of review (5$ beer, 7$ mixed drink if I recall right?). If I do get a mixed drink, this is the place to get it. Pictured is the egg white sour. They do breakfast, but not dinner foods durinb bar service. Also, as a plus, they usually don't have live music, so you can actually hear the other person you're talking to.“

“Cali’s in Berkeley truly blessed my family this Thanksgiving. If it wasn’t for their generosity and kindness our Thanksgiving wouldn’t have been same. My family was gifted a Thanksgiving meal and it came at a time we truly needed it. The week prior to receiving this amazing meal our family was on the news about food insecurity. I’m deeply grateful for the love and community spirit they showed my family.
We weren’t just gifted food it was the entire meal down to the smallest details like the turkey was brined and stuffed with butter and herbs, the green beans had loads of Parmesan cheese and please know that is not a complaint the cheese to green bean ratio was perfect, the gravy was so flavorful and everything was incredibly fresh. It was the best turkey I had ever had. The meal was incredible. The portions were truly family size. It was a very thoughtful meal that felt very elegant. It even came with broth to moisten everything. It fed a family of 7 and everyone had left overs. I can’t forget to mention it came with a huge pumpkin pie and instructions on how to reheat everything properly, and it was extremely easy to bake.
This made our thanksgiving actually filled with fun and as the host I wasn’t stressed at all, dinner was easy and delicious. It was the best Thanksgiving we’ve had in quite some time.

“Final date night before flight home tomorrow. Sausage plate. The British bangers are super flavorful and juicy, goes great with the spicy mustard sauce! The bratwurst is perfect with the kraut and horseradish. The smoked bison is a bit on the dry and spicy side. Reminds me of a Slim Jim. I wish I tasted more bison, but it's still good. The herbed goat cheese and lavash bread is to die for! The herbs are perfectly balanced with the cheese and spreads so easily on the bread!All paired perfectly with Zin-phomaniac red wine!“
