“We went to Batch & Brine in Lafayette this Saturday during the Lafayette Art Festival, so the area and restaurant were extremely busy. Steven , our server, was amazing! He was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and provided excellent service even with the restaurant being so busy.

The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. If you’re in the Lafayette area, I definitely recommend giving Batch & Brine a try!“

“An incredible spot to enjoy some top quality draft ciders. I'm not an expert on ciders by any means, but I've had some incredible stuff here (I've particularly loved anything I've had from Yonder). The vibes here are great, the bartenders are lovely, and they have some great merch for sale! My mom who visits from out of state has bought a tote bag, hat, and sweatshirt from Redfield just so she can flex to her friends back home how awesome this bar is. If you enjoy cider, or even if you just want to stop in for a quick beer, this is a great and classy place to come to. Love Redfield!“

I lived in SF forever and moved out to the East Bay a few years back and this place is equal to or beyond some of the best beer cafes in the city. “I really like this place. I always feel welcomed and it's a great place to chill out and have a drink. No muss, no fuss deal. The place can get crowded on a good night and also be lively in the daytime at lunch. Pool table, maybe some days, and good music creates a positive fun vibe. Also, It's a puppy palace! Dogs welcome, keep them close/on leash and be respectful, people love to see them and interact. Take a friend, go alone, whichever it is, I hope you enjoy. Appetizer like food is prepared and served until 9 or 10pm, not sure which one it is.“

We tried the Melo Ginger, Melo Chai, Melo Chocolate and Midnight Mystic. All with a “riptide” added and a hybrid of both kava strains. They were all exceptional and unique. They make your tongue numb after a couple sips. Very fun experience with great music. The space is very welcoming. Couches or bar seating. They have an entire wall that is live plants.“

“We come by almost every Friday and have lunch at Cato's. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is top notch! “Tony the owner has done a terrific job in creating a local rotating craft beer house. The staff are tremendously friendly, samples are always available before you get a full pint! Sunday Funday is my favorite, with live music until 5pm. Great place to hangout, have some awesome fried cheese curds and wings, kid friendly as well. Checks all the boxes!“

The bratwurst is perfect with the kraut and horseradish. The smoked bison is a bit on the dry and spicy side. Reminds me of a Slim Jim. I wish I tasted more bison, but it's still good. The herbed goat cheese and lavash bread is to die for! The herbs are perfectly balanced with the cheese and spreads so easily on the bread!All paired perfectly with Zin-phomaniac red wine!“

It is certainly a dive though, not a cocktail bar, and unfortunately does not actually have a glory hole. Not yet, anyways. Limping distance from the hospital, but all the med staff prefer The Lodge- so great place to go if you’re trying to hide your drinking from your doc.“

They have an awesome Happy hour on thursdays at the time of review (5$ beer, 7$ mixed drink if I recall right?). If I do get a mixed drink, this is the place to get it. Pictured is the egg white sour. They do breakfast, but not dinner foods durinb bar service. Also, as a plus, they usually don't have live music, so you can actually hear the other person you're talking to.“

“Welcome to your new favorite dive bar for the gays, theys, shes, leathers, and fluffy little puppies. Everyone else is more than welcomed, but for people like me, I feel safe.
Welcoming and chill bouncers that make the space feel friendly, bartenders that make great recommendations, good drink selections, and a big back patio for smoking, chilling, studying, reading, chatting with friends, or just chilling with your dog while you enjoy your drink.
I originally came in because my little 11 year old dog was driving my wife wild and I needed a place for us to got at 10 pm on a Sunday night so the wife could finish a last minute work project. Grabbed a beer from the bar, took us to the back patio, lit up, and enjoyed a good book while I waited for the wife to give us the green light to come home.
Since than it’s become our neighborhood dive, and we love it.“

“I had a takeout pizza from this restaurant last night first of all the customer service was absolutely excellent. The person that answered the phone had a really pleasant customer focused manner , nothing was too much trouble and he was so polite. The pizza was absolutely amazing , I hate anything that is too heavy and it was so light and lovely , the ingredients tasted extremely fresh , I would 100% recommend this place based upon my first experience and I will be back thanks so much 🥰“

“Neighborhood tavern on the edge of gentrification with mix of middle aged friendly patrons and staff. One pool table. Across the street from what was a 1/4 pound burger joint that’s still serving up a good burger among other fare.“

“My best friend and I had a joint baby shower at Clio's in January. It was such a sweet experience. The setting was beautiful for an intimate experience. And we didn't really need any decorations because the space is already so gorgeous. We had lots of kids at the shower and they had so much fun dancing around and looking at books.

The service staff were amazing. They checked in on us regularly, provided everything we asked for, and accommodated all of our needs.

We loved having a bar for people to get drinks at, and it took them through the bookstore too. Having the two different spaces was nice for when things were busy.

There was lots of comfy seating, and the big long table was perfect for our buffet. We had done a similar party for my husband and brother in laws 40th birthdays and the experience was also seamless.

“I have been there twice and plan on returning when I have the time. There is A small bar and a pool hall with ten regulation sized tables and two bar tables. They also have a juke box and a pinball machine. There are multiple televisions on the walls usually showing sporting events. They also have pool tournaments a couple of nights a week. The staff are friendly and treat you well. Check thier website for the times they are the busiest and prices. If you enjoy playing pool and sports its a good place to go. I have been playing pool for many years and have added a video of myself doing one of the few trick shots I learned over the years.
