“We had beef short ribs entree and fried chicken appetizer, both were quite tasty with reasonable portions. Dessert was the fish shaped pastry with sweet bean paste filling, it was also tasty. Staff were very friendly, prices were a bit high in general. Overall a good dining experience. Support your local restaurants.“

“Umma’s K-BBQ is a fast casual Korean and Hawaiian influenced restaurant located at the corner of Trabuco Road and Bake Parkway in Lake Forest. The plaza is anchored by a McDonalds and Starbucks and there is plenty of parking available except during peak hours. Their menu is fairly extensive and even though you can dine in the outdoor courtyard, takeout is the way to go.
With a combination plate, you can enjoy 2 proteins with choice of base and 4 side orders. I opted for the kalbi and spicy chicken and they did not disappoint. I also tried the spicy pork but it was unfortunately on the dryer side. White rice was my base and I chose cabbage salad, spicy cucumber and a double order of chapjae glass noodles as my side dishes. I also sampled my wife’s kimchi and mac salad which were just as tasty as the other sides. The best parts of our experience were the generous portion sizes and the exceptional service provided by the young man behind the counter. We’ll def be back!“

“The fried shrimp dumplings were the highlight. The other dishes are good but my son loved the shrimp dumplings and kept coming for seconds. It's inside a food court so it's not like the most romantic place but the food def is delicious. They have vegetarian options also.“

“We ordered the bulgogi and the galbi dosirak boxes which were like large deluxe bento boxes.
Each box included the main meat selection, a large serving of rice (which they graciously offered to split 1/2&1/2 with salad), 2 of their meat/noodle fried dumplings, 3 small servings of banchan/veggie pickles, and a scoop of japchae/glass noodles.
This box was a generous serving of food. As pictured, the fork is extra large... It's lots!
I want to go back to try the Kimpap. We especially liked their dumplings and galbi was tender and delish!“

I got the spicy pork Bulgogi and a brown sugar boba, which you can adjust the sweetness... not bad and tasty.. Angie, the girl at the register..was very kind and courteous, Will come back again when in the area!“

“If you're looking for a top-tier all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ experience in Tustin, I Can Korean BBQ is a must-try! From the moment we walked in, the service was attentive and friendly, with the staff making sure our grill was always clean and our meats were cooked to perfection.
The meat quality here is excellent—everything was fresh, well-marinated, and flavorful. The premium cuts like the beef brisket and short rib were melt-in-your-mouth good, while the pork belly had the perfect balance of fat and crispiness when grilled. They also offer a great variety of banchan (side dishes) that complement the meats well, and the kimchi was spot on!
What really stood out was the ambiance—modern, clean, and spacious, making it a great spot for both small gatherings and big groups. The ventilation is solid too, so you don’t leave smelling like smoke.
For the price and quality, this is one of the best KBBQ spots in the area. Whether you're a seasoned KBBQ lover or a first-timer, this place will definitely satisfy your cravings. Highly recommend!“

“I've been a fan of this Korean BBQ spot for a while, but today's experience was outstanding! Not only is the food consistently good, but the service was phenomenal. Our server, Evan, went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect, and the manager checked in to ensure everything was good. This is the best Korean BBQ in Orange County. Highly recommended!

“I believe this is a restaurant run by Koreans. The young waitstaff all speak Korean, and the food is authentic. The key point is that the shops in this mall usually close at 9:00 PM, but they dare to stay open until 1:00 AM, and they are often fully booked. I greatly admire their wisdom and courage, highly recommend it.“

“Tang n Tang at Northpark Plaza is super convenient with easy parking! It's a great spot for some delicious Korean food, plus you can grab a drink afterward at Boba Time or Starbucks in the mall. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming.
I tried the bossam combo, spicy beef flank soup, naengmyeon, pork cutlet, and pork bulgogi! The bossam combo is perfect for 2-3 people, and everything was fresh, especially the pork cutlet--it was so tender. The naengmyeon with teddy bear ice (broth) is so cute and definitely Insta-worthy! Also, try the SANG makgeoli--I loved it with bossam or spicy food.
Excellent service too! A great spot for a quick and casual meal!“

“This place is a hidden gem. 10/10 would eat again. The food is great. The staff are friendly. There are a TON of choices for drinks and sides (bottled drinks and individual chip bags). Large enough menu for both lunch and breakfast and they have rotating daily specials. They will be happy to make you a lunch time sandwich even at 8am.Can’t compliment this place enough. If you are in the area and want a quick and easy breakfast/lunch this is the place!“

“Gopchang, daechange is what has me coming back for more. I love how it includes rice balls with it. After we eat about two of the rice balls, I regret not saving it and making fried rice with the leftover gopchang and daechange. One day when I'm there I shall remember.
Bossam was really good. I love how it was presented in a wooden box. It says to leave it close so it can steam for a certain amount of time (I forgot), but I suggest not going by the time they say. I would steam it for less because the veggies were overcooked. Other than that, it was really good“

“If I want to have real homemade Korean food, I always go to this joint. Don’t get me wrong, there are other great Korean restaurants in Orange County, California. But, this restaurant has real authentic Korean dishes at very reasonable prices. I’ve been coming to restaurant for more than 5 years, and I don’t intend to stop it as long as this restaurant exists. In addition to the great food at very affordable prices, all the staff at this restaurant are very friendly!!“

“Honey Pig BBQ is a lively and fun Korean BBQ spot that never disappoints. Their signature tabletop grill setup is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. I love how everything is cooked right in front of you, from the thinly sliced beef brisket to the generously seasoned kimchi and bean sprouts. The sizzling sound and aroma create an experience as much as a meal.
One highlight for me is their post-BBQ fried rice. The staff mixes leftover juices and ingredients from the grill into rice, resulting in a savory, crispy dish that’s worth saving room for. The side dishes are plentiful, fresh, and perfectly complement the main dishes.
The restaurant’s atmosphere is vibrant, though it can get a bit smoky and loud during peak hours, adding to the lively experience. Service is attentive, with staff regularly helping manage the grill and ensuring you’re enjoying your meal.
If you’re in the mood for a casual gathering with friends or family and want to enjoy authentic Korean BBQ with an interactive twist, Honey Pig BBQ is a solid choice.“

“The brisket tteokbokki is delicious. The tteokbokki itself is delicious, the green onion and green onions are delicious, and the brisket is also delicious.
But the taste is really good, but it would be perfect if the soup was a little thicker. Korean youth cafes come with a gas burner to make it a little thicker, but this place doesn't come with a burner, so you have to eat the soup thin.
If it is difficult to serve with a burner, it will be perfect if you add a little more broth.“

“We stopped by for a quick lunch and were initially hesitant due to the low ratings. However, the experience turned out to be quite good. We ordered the combination and spicy octopus hot stone bibimbap, both of which were excellent. While the food prices are relatively high, it might just be a reflection of current inflation. We enjoyed the ambience, and the service was standard. Overall, we liked this place and would consider stopping by again if we’re in the area.“

“my sister introduced me to Yigah and galbitang here when she first came to UCI. more than a decade later Yigah is still the best on my list for galbitang and the radish kimchi. nothing beats Yigah, esp at the Diamond Jamboree location (the other location in Garden Grove is bigger but i feel like their portion/side dishes are smaller)
we always finish everything whenever we go to Yigah. their seolleong tang is good also, that’s my sister’s favorite“

“Delicious and affordable AYCE KBBQ with quality meats. You can order select meats from the server and they also have a self serve meat bar with lots of options. Few of my favorites from the premium menu were: the wagyu beef belly, prime marinated short rib, and prime marinated boneless short rib cut.
They offer 3 menu options~ weekday lunch ($21.99), signature ($29.99) and premium ($38.99), which all include the meat station.
Great service and they came by often to change the grill.“

“Located in the food court of Zion Market off of Irvine Blvd. & Yale, Two Dak Two Dak has amazing fried chicken. I ordered the popcorn chicken and it was on point. The chicken was moist not dried and chewy like many places. And the batter coating the chicken is a light blanket. Good price point ($7.42) and the popcorn chicken is definitely a shareable. I will come back to this place for another great chicken experience.“

“They give you a lot of rice and banchan, which is good, but banchan tasted quite mediocre. It's a nice meal < $20 - that comes with rice, soontofu and the fried fish. But the taste when compared to kaju and bcd, it's slightly subpar. Service was really nice. We got all the extra bowls asked for without any issues. Oh also, we had a 2 yo boy in our group who really enjoyed their bone broth kalgulsoo“

“I didn't know Portobello katsu curry was a thing. Where has it been all my life? If you love portobello mushrooms like I do, I recommend trying the portobello katsu curry with rice.
I had originally ordered a portobello katsu sandwich. The cashier misunderstood me and brought out the Portobello katsu curry rice plate instead. Oopsy!!! I'm glad that he did, or I wouldn't know how this new dish that I tried for the first time would be so yummy!! He gave me a free iced green tea for bringing the wrong order. The food was great and awesome service!!
As I was sitting out in the patio area to do my devotional, the cashier came out and said, I read your review. Here's a thank you!!
He gave me free tiramisu!! I've been craving a tiramisu, too. God always gives you the desire of your heart when you show kindness, especially to restaurant workers or anyone in the customer service industry. A little kindness goes a long way.“

“This was my first time visiting this H Mart Northpark in Irvine. I used to live in the area but since have moved away but still have family in the area so when I was visiting decided to try out this new food court. I didn’t know what was good and there was limited information online so I decided to order the squid dolsot bibimbap (squid hot pot mixed rice). I didn’t expect much so I didn’t even bother taking a picture and it was slightly pricy at $20, but boy was I wrong. The food exceeded all my expectations and it was actually one of the best dolsot bibimbap I’ve ever had and I have had plenty over my middle aged life as it’s one of my favorite dishes. The portion was quite large (I’d say it’s about 1.5 servings for a man and maybe 2 for those with small appetites) had about 4 side dishes and a small bowl of tofu soup. All the side dishes (two types of kimchi), bean sprouts, and fish cakes were quite good and the soup was surprisingly good as well. Also we ordered a side of rice as the dish was quite large but the owner (?) actually gave us the rice for free. So not only great service, but fantastic food (better than maybe 90%+ of sit down restaurants) and we all need to support these type of small businesses. I didn’t get to try other dishes, but given this is a soft tofu specialist place and the dolsot bibimbap was not the main dish, I have a feeling it’s going to be good. Highly recommended.“

“average kbbq, not all meats are good, but some are decent. i don’t recommend the brisket nor the serious eats - very tough and dry. go for the beef belly. the don’t rub me off is decent - good seasoning, just lots of fat.
for the price $37 for weekend lunch ayce kbbq, it’s ok. there are better kbbq places around.
menu online is different than menu in person“

“Well originally I didn’t like going to this place because the front person was not very friendly. However we decided to give this place another chance when they introduced their new spicy flavor. Now we either order it online or subversive will go and pick up our order because the new flavor is delicious. It has become our new work favorite.“
