“This has become a regular dinner spot for my family when I come to visit my hometown of San Clemente. I love their food! The Mixed Plate is my new favorite…so much yummy meat and you get to choose three sides. I don’t know why there isn’t always a line out the door!“

“I use to go to RH with my family in the 70's. Atmosphere always transported us to Hawaii. They were famous for BB ribs, drinks, unique salad (with mayo dressing) and even served a bowl of crudite' with celery, salami, etc. every meal. I didn't like the modern re model, however, NOW THIS RE BUILD iS so cool! Just like the 1970's but better!! Dim lit and Hawaiian music set the mood. I was really anxious to try the ribs again. The service was GREAT appetizer excellent but, ribs, BAD! They were not edible. Hard and chewy, like beef jerky. I was so disappointed and all of our party ordered and received the same. I may try again but won't order ribs!!!“

“I am SO GLAD Ono Hawaiian came to my city ( Lake Forest)! We have L&L near us, Nalu's and Aloha BBQ, but been there, done that. Ono brings prime flavor for the Hawaiian BBQ must haves. They pack it in the flavor and is so worth the trip! And, the staff are super duper nice. We've been here three times and their excellent customer service is consistent. My family is hooked and wouldn't go anywhere else.“

“WOW Poki has easily become a top Poke spot for me. I've tried thier wrap and thier bowl so far and intend to return and try more! Plenty of options and every ingredient to pick from is fresh and ready for addition to your order. There is zero discoloration or proof of ingredients sitting out too long and when eaten, everything tastes fresh and flavors are strong in the best way possible and complimentary to each other. You can tell everything in the kitchen is well maintained by seeing and tasting. Service is polite and to the point so you can get to enjoying your meal right away and servers are not stingy with portions. I've left twice now feeling satisfied and wanting more the next day. The perfect spot to eat when you want something savory during this hot weather.“

“Tried this poke spot and honestly it exceeded expectations. The ingredients were super fresh, portions were generous, and everything was packed with flavor. The staff were friendly and the service was quick too. Definitely one of the best poke places I’ve been to — I’ll for sure be coming back.“

“Popped in here on a Sunday around Noon. It was busy as you'd imagine, but we found a table. My wife had the Chorizo Scramble with potatoes. She liked the scramble, but the potatoes were nothing special. I tried the Kailua Pork & Cabbage with rice and I swapped the macaroni salad for fresh fruit. It was very good and something I'd order again. Portions for both orders were good sized for 2 adults.

My only complaint is the timing on the food. My wife was half finished before my food was set down. I noticed the same pattern at other tables. It's a Small place inside and noisy, but not unbearable. There is also outside seating.“

“Legit the best chicken katsu I’ve had. I’ve ordered it in a dozen places including Hawaii and have Never been impressed. I almost didn’t want to order it because I thought it’d be another disappointment... But it was everything I ever thought it should be. Juicy and crispy with a good sauce. The spam masubi was fire and all the fixin’s were good too. The pork wasn’t my thing and I regret not getting short ribs or bbq beef though.

The proportions seem authentic though lmao. A lotta food poly style for the price“

“I really like this place. I have taken friends here and they all like it. The rice bowl or sauce and the meats are really good. The potato macaroni salad and other sides and the sandwhiches. Basically anything on the menu i like. This older asia man i think might be the owner was there more around september or so i havent seen him the past couple times ive been there. He is very friendly and personable. One of the cashiers the past couple times is good but he needs to stop wearing earbuds unless its for a hearing reason. He seems disinterested and always asks to repeat myself. And he is playing video games on his ipad which im not attacking but no one wants to feel like theyre interrupting the workers who are meant to provide service to them and i know this from experience since i have worked in cpunter service before. But im not trying to trash him just giving feedback. Great job guys thank you, it is the best affordable place to eat near saddleback college. Much appreciated in Jesus name.“
