“We narrowly missed a 45 minute wait here last week for my birthday dinner. No problems sitting at the bar - service was quick and wonderful. The sushi here is incredibly fresh and thoughtfully designed. I loved the super nova roll and the ocean roll, my partner liked the special roll. We were offered the typical (complimentary) wasabi and the fresh wasabi. My partner said the fresh is much better and worth ordering. We found the prices here to be reasonable especially considering the quality. We can't wait to go back!”

“What a gem of a restaurant! We unintentionally stumbled upon Bolinas earlier this month while on vacation. When the Muir Woods closed due to the government shutdown, we pivoted, and we are so happy we did. Our party of 8, which they so accommodatingly allowed us to spilt into separate tables for 4 adults and 4 tweens, had the best time on their patio. The service was stellar and warm, the atmosphere was friendly and there wasn't a stranger to be found, and the food was even better than both those combined. Thanks to the whole crew for being the highlight of the day.”

“I always have pupusas everywhere I go, I’m always disappointed from every place I visit… except this one, this food truck has the best tasting pupusas I’ve had other than my tias and another place around 4th street. I highly recommend this place!!!

Jazzmo Pete and I had spent the whole day out at Bill Halsey's Hangin Balls Ranch separating the Bulls from the Cows and Heffers into their winter pastures, and we were beat, cold and wet from the coastal fog. Jazzmo, an Italian at heart says let's go into town and have a big bowl of pasta and a couple bottles of Chianti, well that was enough for me, so off we went. ...Smelling like old west cowboys I was sure we'd get kicked out of any place we went into, but Jazzmo had a quart bottle of some sort of hipster stuff that'll take the smell off a litter box! And it worked! We went to La Gastronomia di Porchetta Restaurant and had about the best Italian food in the Bay Area!

“Extremely great pizza coupled with lovely and friendly staff. Atmosphere is great too. We will go again. Surprising find that more should know about it. Pizzas are large portions with lots of flavor and price is perfect and reasonable too.”

“What a great experience and place to visit. Invite only or for work, you will be treated very well by all staff and the property is absolutely beautiful. Art Museum had lots of Original artwork and the whole property is full of awesome Movie Paintings. Gift shop is really cool. Again, what a place to get a chance to visit, thanks to all the great staff that made us feel at home!!!”

“love love love it here! my mom and I stayed in fairfax for a whole week and we ate here several times. food is amazing, atmosphere is amazing, staff is amazing. special shout out to our main man Ty who remembered us by name and was always super fun and friendly every time we came in. he may even play you a few songs on his guitar if you’re lucky. this place was definitely a highlight of our trip and i’ll miss going there when we leave. we could also tell that this place is a huge hit with the locals which is always nice to see. thanks for all of the great food, drinks, conversations, and songs Barefoot Cafe! until next time! -Ebony”

“I clicked liked it although I am still looking forward to trying the place. I had to click stars in order to post this comment, which I wanted to post in advance in hopes that the restaurant might become more of a real Jewish Deli than the sandwich photos show. The pictures show the sandwiches to be super skimpy, nothing like an authe tic Jewish deli makes sandwiches with the thinly sliced meat layered high and thick. For decades the San Francisco Bay Area has gotten away withcalling mere sandwich shops Jewish delis, You're not really serving this sad little Skippy sandwiches with 2 to 3 slices of layers of meat instead of many layers of delicious slices of meat piled high. Not since the Union Deli on Union Street in San Francisco closed decades ago has San Francisco had a truly excellent deli. In any case I look forward to trying this one, although with low expectations due to the photos.”

“I’m so glad we found this gem of a place in San Anselmo! My wife and I live in Brooklyn and come to the area every year to see family. This bar/ hang out spot is one of the most welcoming spaces in the area. The mid century / south west aesthetic instantly adds a coziness element. The staff are super kind, the drinks are so fresh and creative, and the pop up food was packed with flavor! Shout out for the space being very sensory friendly- large ceiling sound proof panels and wood on the walls to absorb noise. I will be back!”
