“I've been here quite a few times now when in the area. I love they offer different sizes for their drinks unlike other coffee shops with just a standard cup. I'd say the drinks are on the sweeter side but can be modified. The service is okay depending on who is there. My favorite was the coconut Vietnamese latte, my daughter had a caramel frappe which was pretty good. Pour over coffee also great just takes longer to brew of course.“
“My family and I are visiting California from Hawaii, and we wanted to find a coffee place near our hotel so I told them we should try this place. We got the hot chocolate, cafe latte, salted caramel latte, oreo latte, and croffles. Everything was carefully curated and tasted really good. Definitely will come here again during our stay!“
“Amazing! This is going to be a go to spot everytime I come home to visit from now on. Only bad thing is that I didn't learn about this place sooner, oh and that they were all out of shirts in my size. Great people and great vibe in here. Coffee delish of course!“
“Stopped by on my lunch break and had to try the coffee spot my coworkers always raved about. I was pleasantly surprised to find this location in a cute little trailer. The barista was very friendly and gave me a run down on where exactly the coffee is grown and roasted. I love that there's no extra charge for syrups or milk. I think I found my new coffee plug by work!!! Will be back!“
“This is my favorite coffee shop although there are a lot in LB. I’ve probably been to all of them and this is the best by far. Their coffee is just right…you can taste the coffee and not overly sweet. I’ve tried about six different coffees here and they’re all excellent. My favorite is the 007 and their matcha. Their scones are also freshly made and sell out. Highly recommend this spot.“
“I have purchased Blue Flame coffee Signature (3) different times, and (3) 12 oz bags each time. The coffee is very consistent tasting and to my coffee opinion very enjoyable. I drink (2) 12oz pour overs per day and I weigh both the beans and water. So I can safely state the coffee is consistent tasting. For best "pour over" taste, do not grind too finely, it will produce a sour acidic taste, but with proper grind sizing it tastes sweet and smooth. I'm using a Fellow Ode grinder, with a 5 grind setting, and I'm using the Hario V60 dripper, 12oz water with 23 gram beans. I highly recommend the coffee, and the 9 bucks per bag cost is phenomenal. Be sure to call before visiting, twice they were not there during business hours.“
“Awesome local coffee shop with great neighborhood vibes. Owners are really friendly. There is even a little toy barista set up for kids to play with! Drinks are great - big fan of the bourbon caramel latte. The dark chocolate peppermint (seasonal for the holidays) was also great. I usually get my drinks half sweet and it is the perfect amount of sweetness. They also roast their own beans. We often buy our bagged coffee from here to brew at home!“
“My daughter and I came in here yesterday (January 21st, 2024) before iur trip to the mission. And it was pouring rain. Ambiance - this place is just so relaxing and cute. It is a small cafe but there are chairs and tables outside too. This place reminds me of my backyard very cozy. They have succulents all over the place and they also have cute merch near the counter. They also sell the coffee packs. ps. I should've bought one sugh !Service - when we came in it was busy. But it was fast and they greeted us!Service- I got the breakfast burrito and it was delicious! Good amount pf portion and I have extra for me to eat later. Then my daughter got the sandwich the one with bacon. She was really digging it. Now, she wanted me to make her some for breakfast. hehe. Then for our drinks we got hot chocolate (for my daughter) which was really tasty, and I got a surprise coffee with almond milk which was good as well. I asked the barista to just whip me something that is very strong so I can last the whole day. And it was delivered, Thank you!ps. we got to our destination and we just realized that we actually ordered a muffin. So, I called the place and texted my receipt to the owner and I got my refund for that. I appreciate it so much! We will be back someday! As we live so far away. But for now, I just know where to go whenever we're in the area.“
“Exactly what you would expect from a coffee roaster. Great cup of coffee, the food pairing was really good and the space itself its really chill. You get to see where they roast and their store is nice. In front there is a park where you can take a nice walk with or after your coffee. I would totally recommend it for coffee lovers.Parking: Mopre than 10 spaces because they are in front of a park.“
“An interesting larger than anticipated coffee spot located in a corner strip mall across the street from Los Al High School, this spot boasts a Filipino inspired menu with beans imported fresh from the Philippines. I ordered a Nido Latte and a pork siopao. The latte was rich and a little heavy (because Nido), sweet but not overpoweringly so. It definitely had a nostalgic flavor and was substantial (again, because Nido). I had ordered it iced but received it hot, but I imagine it might have been better this way anyway. The pork siopao was delicious, with the perfect texture that rivals popular dimsum/manapua bakeries in the greater area. The little sauce they gave on the side was a little congealed (probably because it was stored in the fridge), but it didn't really need it. The store seemed clean but looking a little worn. The dining area didn't seem like it was getting a ton of use, so it was being used more so for storage than for seating but there is plenty of space there. And the gentleman behind the counter was super friendly and hospitable. I definitely recommend checking out this spot, especially if you're looking for strong and smooth specially curated coffee.“
“came here on a saturday & it was exceptional !it's small but wasn't too busy, which worked out ! Everyone is really friendly, and the pastries were delicious.I got a Honey Oat Latte price of $6it had a perfect balance of sweet & strong ! 10/10my friend ordered a Burnt Carmel Latteprice of $5.50tried it and it was good ! Probably a little bit stronger but still good !Don't know the pastry names, but they were phenomenal 10000/10the vibe is everything !Coming back for sure ! ♡“
“I was so excited when I found this local roaster on Yelp, and to my surprise, Pacific Beans completely exceeded my expectations! To give you some background on my coffee preferences, I love purchasing single-origin coffee beans to make pour overs at home using my Hario V60. I usually buy online from highly reputable roasters such as Onyx Coffee Lab and Black and White Roasters. This local roaster is almost on that same level without having to pay for shipping or steep mark-ups. About a month ago, I purchased three coffee bean offerings from them (two in person and one online), and they were all amazing. I'm impartial to naturally processed Ethiopian beans, but I had to try the Indonesian offering, and it didn't disappoint! I did wish that the Indonesian offering was roasted lighter to get more of the fruity notes, because those beans seemed to grind finer than the other offerings I purchased. I also tried their El Paraiso and their Santa Lucia Gesha - both were amazing and complex in their own ways. I love that they didn't over-roast these beans and that they roast in small batches to ensure that you'll pick up a fresh bag. The exotic, fruity flavors really come out in these beans, and I was able to taste all the notes they had listed on the packaging (especially the El Paraiso, which was by far my favorite - the lychee notes were so prominent in that one!) Best of all, you can call ahead and place your order, and they'll roast it for you the next day. You can also order online on their website, and they'll ship it to you for free. They have a selection of freshly roasted beans on stock as well, if you're looking to pick up something quick. In person, service was very friendly and helpful. It is quiet, and the location is a bit hard to find (it's along an alley away from the busy traffic of Beach Blvd). It is quiet in there since their cafe is closed, but you can still visit during open hours to buy beans.“
“Located right by the beautiful Alamitos Bay Marina in the 2nd and PCH district, this cafe serves a variety of delicious coffee drinks and pastries.I tried the mocha and the sinfully delicious Chocolate banana croissant. The croissant was served perfectly warm, and mocha was a little cooler side with the milk otherwise perfect and not too sweet. The staff were very cheerful and friendly, the inside and outside seating areas were clean, spacious and comfortable. I’d recommend taking a walk around the marina. :)Parking: street parking spaces in front of were all taken, but there is a huge lot for the Marina, so no worries!“
“It was certainly weird coming here having worked at the coffee bean it used to be! I got the Spanish latte (condensed milk and cinnamon) with an extra shot which was great. The baristas were super friendly. My only thing is the all white decor - I'm not a minimalist by any means so not a fan. I love a little flare, a little razzle dazzle if you will. Would definitely still go back to try other drinks!“
“Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. Was going to go across the street to Marquez but came across this gem while waiting for my tires to be serviced at Bless Tires on Rosecrans. Am I glad we stopped in. The place is adorable and clean, welcoming. The food is very good. Great flavor and presentation. Definitely coming back.“
“Excellent coffee and delicious breakfast. Service was very friendly as well. The type of coffee place that makes you want to go back and take a way a star from the other coffee shops ratings. It’s also nice that they actually offer coffee in a ceramic mug: it may seem petty to some, but as a true “coffee snob”, it’s frustrating that most coffee shops in Cali seem to only offer coffee in to-go cups“
“Don't know how i've never reviewed this place before. But theres not much to say except its awesome. I love this whole place and their mission statement. The drinks are superb especially the sensory latte! Also, the bagels are huge and so good! I even asked them where they got them from. Prices are reasonable and both locations are amazing. Only problem is that theres not enough parking here for how many customers they got!!!“
“if you're coming here to just do work, I recommend it for sure !A lot of space & just a quiet place to chill & catch up with work!Got a vanilla lattePrice 6.25 & w/ oat milk 1 dollar Chocolate lattePrice 6.251 guava pop tartePrice 6 dollarslove the space & just the whole ambiance for sure ! coming back !“
“It's cute, simple and minimalist. The service was great and they do not carry themselves like other pretentious coffee shops like GoodTime or recreational coffee claiming to be diverse. The coffee is great and their donuts are also good. I usually come here to study and it's low key. Come out sometime!“
“Whether it's for personal, business or for any other type of use, these guys have the right coffee for you! I work for a vending company and we only use their coffee. They have all kinds of ways to use, vend packs, single serve, restaurant style, flavored, freeze dried, whole bean, literally every style and easy to serve it. Including for your k cup dispenser. Try them out and reap the benefits!“
“It's nice to see third wave coffee spreading into the deepest recesses of Orange County. Twas not too long ago when all you could find along this stretch of freeway was Starbucks and Donut spots, which, I may add, always have terrible coffee so some reason. Anyway, my cappuccino was perfect, the decor is millennial minimalism coffee shop style. Not sure I would ever have cause to take a meeting or hang out here but I would.“
“What a cool coffee shop. I really enjoyed the caramel latte hot with whole milk. So delicious. I also purchased some whole bean dark roast coffee and can’t wait to grind a cup. The breakwater dark roast says it is local. And that they roast to accentuate sweetness, draw out nuances and orchestrate the unique range of acidities. To create a dialogue from farmers, roasters, baristas and consumers. Kinda neat approach. Try them out. Enjoy.“
“Love going to Javatini to get a cappuccino. Main Street in Seal Beach is a great place to visit. The only issue is their door opens the wrong way so if you have 2 coffees in your hand, you can’t open the door. Also, seems like a fire code violation since it’s the only way out and the door opens inward.“
“I've passed by this little coffee stand many times, this morning I gave into my Friday morning treat craving, I had been eyeing that matcha croissant for quite sometime! The croissant was huge! I ate every crumb, it was alright, nothing spectacular about the $7 croissant but naturally the gingerbread latte caught my eye, the $7 price didn't deter me although I had high expectations for this said latte & it truly did not disappoint! The baristas were in a great mood & giggly it was nice to start the morning off right. Would I return for coffee? Yes! No photos to show. Next time!“
“Stopped by on a Friday morning and this place was popping. Very friendly staff greeted me and the line went quick. Cold brew is super smooth and the breakfast burrito (BLUE?!?!) is bomb. Got the steak with green salsa. Omgggg it’s good. Worth the slight wait I had for sure.“
“The staff is very friendly, helpful, and quick with drinks. They're ready with a smile, which is always appreciated so early in the morning. My only complaint is that the croissants aren't flaky, but that's getting really nitpicky. I adore this place; the flat white is my go-to.Dietary restrictions: They have a ton of milk substitutions; there's an entire list of whole milk substitutions next to the counter. I never knew so many existed!“
