“My wife loves this place. She's been going here since she was a child. Omg it's so expensive here, but I understand why so many people go to this place. The food and donuts are so good. I remember one guy got his leg amputated after not taking care of his diabetes and hopped all the way from the hospital on his good leg just to get a maple bar donut. SMH. Oh well. Being healthy is so overrated.“

“BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEYFree scoop for email club membersIt seems to me the main difference of this location & the Cerritos one is the square footage of the shop. This place is tiny! For my free scoop, I decided to go with the August Flavor of the Month - Game Time!-Salted caramel ice cream, M&M minis, buttered popcorn flavored clusters, caramel pretzel flavored swirls. The combination of sweet & salty was heavenly to my senses. I usually don't like things cloyingly sweet, so the saltiness helped damper the sugar content. Pleasing with each bite, I immensely enjoyed Baskin-Robbins' Game Time ice cream.Service was good. Wait was none existent, as there were no other customers, at the time. Parking is a little tight in the one way lot. Baskin-Robbins is located in between Adalberto's & Pep Boys.A scoop of ice cream in August is a must. More so when it's free! Baskin-Robbins always delights me with their birthday promo, and the difficult part is deciding on which flavor to choose. New, artisan ice cream shops have popped up like weeds, but Baskin-Robbins is still the classic mainstay that still delivers the goods.“

“The workers are always nice and ice cream is good. A good selection of flavors to choose from this is also a good location to if you're making a quick stop. Quality if the ice cream taste great, nice and cold kept at a perfect temperature whether on a cold or hot day. 5 stars“
“Froyo was good with decent topping selection. Boba tea servings were very generous for large, but it was almost impossible to communicate with the staff over the background noise. I could not hear anything they were asking and resorted to doing my best at lip reading within the context of what I was ordering.“

“Heritage Restaurant, Long Beach – A Well-Earned Michelin Star by Michael Broderick. In a city where “Californian” culinary ambition often plays second fiddle to casual dining, Heritage in Long Beach has carved out a place of quiet excellence, earning a well-deserved Michelin star. This intimate dining experience is a testament to ingredient-driven, technique-forward cooking, where flavors are both restrained, unpretentious, and deeply expressive. From the first bite, it was clear that Heritage excels at layering textures and flavors in unexpected ways. The meal began with an Amuse Bouche trio: a delicate prawn cracker topped with sweet Dungeness crab, a green leaf with another seafood salad that was to be eaten like a mini street taco, and balanced with the brightness and light crunch of pickled turnip. A seemingly simple couple of bites, but one that foreshadowed the precision and thoughtfulness of the courses to follow. To cleanse the palate, a mint tea infused with palo santo was served—a meditative interlude that was both refreshing and aromatic, setting the stage for the evening’s journey. The first official course, Crème Caviar, featured Russian Sturgeon Heritage Caviar and chive, a chilled preparation that was rich yet elegantly restrained. This was followed by Kanpachi Crudo, presented with carrot, ginger, and macédoine vegetables, offering a balance of clean ocean flavors against bright, vegetal undertones. Then came what I consider the star of the evening: a dish that fully captured the ethos of Heritage—Hen of the Woods Mushroom, topped in a “sunchoke stew” (crispy fried sunchoke) with fermented mushroom. For an additional $25, an indulgent shaving of black truffle took the dish to another level, transforming it into a sensory experience that evoked the deep, earthy satisfaction of foraging. The interplay of umami-rich elements made this course a masterpiece of textural and flavor contrast. The proteins that followed were executed with equal care. First, a perfectly prepared Rainbow Trout, sauted to perfection with a crispy layer of skin on one side, delicate pink flesh on the other, bathed in a delicate dashi and punctuated with bursts of smoked trout roe in a light creme sauce, which lent salinity and depth. Then, a 32-day dry-aged rib chop, a cut that can sometimes lean too “gamey” in the tradiinal steak house that cuts corners on a post aging trim, yet here was a revelation—tender, deeply beefy, but balanced. Accompanying the dish was sous vide endive, black garlic, and a shaving of Parmesan, which surprisingly lacked the usual sharpness, instead presenting a more rounded, delicate, nutty flavor. Desserts were a study in technique and balance. The first, a Grilled Strawberry with strawberry granita and Meyer lemon crème, was bright and refreshing, its layers revealing different expressions of cool and sweetness. Then came the Coco Craquelin, a delicate choux pastry filled with beurre noisette ganache and banana cremeux, meant to be eaten with the hands—a playful and interactive moment in the meal. Finally, a Sage Basque Cake, its subtle herbaceousness complemented by toasted hemp seeds and lemon curd, provided a grounding, crispy finish. Heritage is the kind of restaurant that doesn’t simply chase trends—it refines them into something personal, something intentional. The execution is confident but never showy, and the experience is paced with precision, allowing each dish to tell its own story. This is not just a meal—it’s a quiet, profound meditation on flavor, technique, and the land from which it all comes. Where other restaurant profess to be a true “Californian” style farm to table experience , Heritage is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone who seeks out truly exceptional dining in California.“

“We hired Seaside Creamery to bring their adorable ice cream cart to my granddaughter’s 1st birthday, and they truly exceeded all expectations! They offered three delicious homemade flavors that were a huge hit with guests of all ages. Their team was incredibly professional, friendly, and made the whole experience so special. They even stayed an extra hour to make sure everyone got a scoop (or two!). I can’t recommend them enough for any event—you’ll get amazing service, incredible ice cream, and smiling guests all around.“

“I had the most amazing experience at Ben Scoops! 🍦✨ I stumbled upon this gem while looking for a treat for my grandsons after discovering that Kansha Creamery was closed on Wednesdays. They decided on strawberry ice cream in a cone, and let me tell you, it was a hit! 🍓❤️
But I couldn't resist treating myself too! I ordered the pistachio and green tea ice cream, and wow, it was a flavor explosion! 🌰🍵 The pistachio was rich and creamy, while the green tea was perfectly refreshing. I honestly can't believe I hadn't tried Ben Scoops sooner!
Now, it's officially my go-to place for ice cream on Wednesdays! 🎉 If you're looking for delicious flavors and a fun atmosphere, Ben Scoops is the place to be! 🍧🙌“

“Ken’s, is the best ice cream in the world! I think the loving attitude used to scoop it up, makes it extremely special! My grandkids started my journey with Ken’s, years ago. My oldest grandson is now 25 and the baby is 16. Whenever there is ice cream wanted in my house and they are around, it’s a trip to Ken’s! Watching it pass from one generation to another, has been a great thing for our community! One trip to Ken’s and you are hooked for life! I love the ice cream, and the beautiful spirit, of the people scooping it up! Nadine Gills-Ward, a loyal customer“

“Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.
I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.
The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.
The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“

“recommended to me — I wasn’t disappointed. There was a bit of a line when I arrived, but it moved quickly and the staff were helpful, even with all the hustle. The ordering process was super easy, and the space felt clean and welcoming.
The cookies themselves? Genuinely excellent. Big, warm, and packed with flavour — definitely lived up to the hype. I tried a couple of the weekly specials and would’ve gone back again if I’d had more time in Downey.
Nice stop if you’re travelling and want something sweet (or very American!). Great location too — easy to find and plenty of parking nearby, but we walked as hoteled in the local area“

“Stopped in with my boys and though we generally have good customer service at most Cold Stones with a couple of exceptions a while back at the Garden Grove location on Chapman, Stephanie provided outstanding customer service from the minute we walked in until the minute we walked out. It wasn't a surprise to find out that she was part of the management team when I asked. Seems that you provide a great example to your teammates.“

“Crumbl Cookies is dessert happiness in a pink box.
The weekly rotating flavors keep things exciting, but even their classic chocolate chip is everything you want in a cookie—gooey center, crispy edges, and just the right amount of chocolate.
The shop is clean and bright, and the staff is always friendly and quick.
You can’t help but smile walking out with that iconic pink box.
Perfect for a sweet pick‑me‑up or sharing (if you’re generous enough to share!).“

“save your money, get a double-scoop! the shop itself is a ben & jerry's fixated on niche flavours: the ube brownie and cookie butter are decadently rich with thick mix-in chunks. the dark matter brownie batter i originally went for was kinda a letdown, basically hella sweet chocolate, but most flavours are yummy-extravagant sweet treats. there's also delicate, fragrant flavours like jasmine milk tea, thai tea, and cereal milk[?]—so they've got a scoop for everyone.“
