“Wow so freaking good!! Genuinely the best bowl I’ve ever had. I got the mixed grilled chicken bowl with lemon thyme sauce while my boyfriend got the same but with the chipotle sauce. Both were great! Pretty cute they wrote a little thank you note on the take out box too:)

If I were to complain about anything it would be to add a little more protein portion to eat bowl. Otherwise I highly recommend this place!“

“I truly adore this place. My cousin with celiac who rarely vacations came to visit me. I was panicked as I am new to LA and most places I found were not 100% gluten free. I came across this gem and we were both obsessed. We even went in two nights in a row! The food and wine are superb and every employee is dynamic, kind, informative, and all-around lovely. They also introduced me to my new favorite wine: Moravia for life! Very thankful to 401k for making my cousin’s trip and for cementing itself as one of my new favorite places.“

“One of the best meals I’ve had in LA. The food was exceptional and had so many amazing flavors. I went here on a date and the atmosphere was perfect. It is all outside but the heaters kept it toasty and it’s very picturesque. Our favorite things we got were the yams, and there was a delicious mussels special that was SO good. Extra bonus because they have a parking lot. Will definitely be coming back many times!“

This location is located in the Culver City Cuisine pick up area and I order from restaurants here all the time and had no idea moon bowls was located there as well. So good and healthy! The food is amazing, and never disappoints. They have Vegan and GF options. Coffee is amazing as well as their teas. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Anytime I visit Culver City, Baked bar LA is top priority.“

“I loved this delicious cozy vegan restaurant. We had deep fried mushroom appetizers which didn't look too appealing but was tasty. We had sushi with eggplant that served came by and torched. This was surprisingly tasty. I forgot what my friend ordered. We also had ramen which was ok. Portion small on ramen and also very little broth. But it was very beautiful and tasty. “I missed it first time passing thru because it was blocked by sketchy people waiting for the bus. When I turned around and parked, went in -saw it was cash or check only- so had to go find an ATM. But back. Pricey @$2.95/each or $35.40 dozen which was what I got. No discount at all ? I'd say it's good, softer and more sticky than other mochi I've ever had.. but not worth a long trip out. It's an hr. drive from me, but I had business/work nearby later that day so I could come early to try get some. Been trying to catch it for years as their open hours & my non-work hours never matched. It finally did & although was a real treat-my birthday gift to self, it's not that much special for the drive. I got pretty much 1 of each.. the best were the egg-like mung beans with sesame seeds, pink and orange mochi. I made mistake getting the red beans with sticky rice-don't recommend unless you're eating it right away.. it fermented more whilst inside the car as I was at work. The rest held well, may need 2 iced coolers packets not 1 small 1.

Parking: Street parking in front but it is on a VERY busy street and there's a bus stop in front so that's main annoyance.“

Mimi is a warm, consummate professional who can handle anything, events-wise, and the space is versatile for any kind of casual and convivial gathering. This place is one of my favorite “third spaces” for working when I need a change of environment from the home office (there are tables that overlook the pool), painting (I’m a huge fan of the paint and sip classes) or just hanging out. Neighbors can consider it a great resource for meals and snacks off the beach (and anytime), entertaining for occasions and even just to grab a bottle of wine or party-food supplies for friends who drop by.
