“Honeymee in Gardena is a sweet little spot that’s definitely worth a visit! The serving area is small, but the quality more than makes up for it. The signature honey topped ice cream is absolutely delicious, simple, creamy, and perfectly sweet. I tried the Passion Fruit and Chocolate Dream, and both were amazing in their own way. “I have lived in Manhattan Beach for over 20 years and yesterday I had maybe the best customer service experience EVER in my life. I was not able to get the young man’s name but I have this picture here that he let me take. This young man was so warm and hospitable towards everyone who walked in the store. He was very patient with me and all my sampling requests which was probably annoying because I came at a busy time, but his positive attitude never wavered. His smile lit up my day and made my ice cream taste even sweeter than it already was! I loved my experience with that young man so much that I might only get ice cream from salt in straw from now on! He also gives the best scoops, filled with a lot of joy… and ice cream as well, so request him if you can. “Manhattan Beach. YOU SHOULD GET 3 SCOOPS BUT 2 IS OK. 1 scoop was $6.25 and 2 was $6.75. 3 was $7 something. If you like toppings, the banana split is the way to go for $10.25. There were some seats outside, but this place was more like a take out place. Walk the beach and go to the promenade. The museum wasn't interesting.

“In business since 1945 and originally from Ohio, I have been to many locations all around SoCal but this was my first visit to this new Culver City location on S Sepulveda. Every location has been fantastic so far and one thing I appreciate is the staggering amount of ice cream flavor options that they have. It’s easy to get something new each visit, especially with their seasonal flavors. Parking for this location is extremely easy and free bc it’s attached to a shopping center. They have spaces right out front and on the roof/2nd level. Service was fast and friendly and the ice cream isn’t as hard on your tummy as more creamy companies like Salt & Straw.

For this visit I chose a waffle cone with Cinnamon Roll and Cake Batter. Between the two I would say that Cinnamon Roll was my favorite. I wish they would have just a salted caramel flavor without the truffles or a vanilla with caramel but they currently don’t offer that on the menu. Others with me ordered the 4 flavor sampler which is 4 small scoops of up to 4 different flavors.

Overall I would say Handel’s is one of my favorite places to get ice cream and I would recommend to anyone searching for a sweet treat.“

I was walking by after dinner and saw some people who were eating ice creams and feel like it is what I need right now, I looked for ice cream shops nearby and found Jeni’s. It was a really good ice cream shop. They have a wide variety of flavors, and I got one scoop of Strawberry Pretzel Pie and one scoop of Texas Sheet Cake. Both were absolutely delicious but I like strawberry more - the second one was a little bit sugary for me. The flavor in both was rich and creamy, and it felt very fresh, so it tasted really good. I really enjoyed it.

I ordered ice cream in a waffle cone, and the portion was pretty generous, bigger than I expected. The waffle was pretty good, not dry but crispy. The prices are reasonable for that amount of ice cream.

The place itself is nice inside, looks like regular ice cream spot. There are no tables inside but you can find some on the street. The staff was friendly and helpful, she told me about different flavors and let me sample.

Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. The ice cream is amazing, I really enjoyed it, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more flavors.“

“I love this location besides frozen yogurt they have a variety of other options that you can pick from. It’s very economical compared to big brand frozen yogurt chains.
