I hired them for my wedding and from the initial phone consultation, through planning meetings, and the event itself, I felt completely taken care of by every single staff member. “Chef Joann was an absolute pleasure to work with. When we first reached out to Chef Joann, she was a little bit out of our price range, but she was able to work with us and our budget in order to be the caterer for our wedding. We went and met Joann and did a food tasting with her and she was so hospitable and nice we knew we had found the caterer for us, not to mention the food was absolutely amazing. Luckily, Chef Joann had worked our venue before so that took all the worries and stress from trying to plan and connect her with our venue and coordinator. She was able to work with us, even through all the craziness of 2020 and we were able to figure out a way to make things work efficiently and safely without jeopardizing the layout or food. The bartenders she was able to bring went above and beyond and really helped to get the party started for our wedding. They were constantly bringing my wife and I drinks as we would be empty handed and socializing with our guests. It was really cool how well the entire crew took care of not only us but all of our guests. With me being the wayI am, I wanted to help Joann and her crew and she would joke with me to be quiet, have fun and get married. It really felt like a family member or close friend was there, had our back and was taking care of us. It was a really cool dynamic and took all the stress out of the day. The food Joann conjures up is not easily put into words. The appetizers she did for the cocktail hour as well as the cheese boards she created for each table were astounding. They were above and beyond anything we had expected. I had guests coming up to me all night commenting on how amazing the cocktail hour was along with the dinner. We are so happy we picked Joann to take control and be a part of our big day. I would highly recommend Joann to anyone who wants amazing a delectable food from someone who is so easy going and easy to work with, you feel like you have known them for years. “Delicious! All the meats are flavorful and not dry at all, the homemade tortillas are so good, rice and beans are great plus Tomas brings all the fixings and plates, napkins and plasticware. We just used Taquizas Tomas to cater our son’s birthday party and all our guests were super happy and well fed plus we had leftovers to enjoy after the party. It also made our lives so much easier not having to worry about prepping any food. Tomas is great to work with and we definitely recommend them!“

“We loved our mother daughter lunch! The Henry is very clean and has a welcoming ambience. I got the club and it was the beast club l have ever had. Lots of meat and lettuce it was delich! My daughter got the Kale and squash salad. She ate every last bit and also loved her food. Our server was super sweet l wish l remember her name but she was young and blond with these great black pointy nails. Perfect for spooky season. She was attentive and prompt. We had a great time and will definitely be going back.“

“Brigette made the catering part of our wedding plans super easy. She communicated with us clearly and followed up in a timely fashion whenever we had questions. They also at last minute, took on cake cutting! Niko, Sean and Scott were so professional the day of my reception and were just so friendly and just a pleasure all around. The food was amazing. I'm not a baked bean kinda gal, but I have to say these are by far the best ones I've ever tried. The jalapeños really added to them ?. The tri-tip was delicious and the chicken was juicy!
So the cake cutting was a fun one... they were so worried about cutting it wrong but they did great! We highly recommend them!“

“After trying the dan dan noodles at a vegan pop-up market today, I can not stop thinking about them! The noodles, the OmniPork, the crisp veggies. Amazing. My boyfriend had the spring rolls and really liked them. I am looking forward to trying the rest of the menu because the whole menu looks fantastic! The staff was super friendly, and the portions were generous. Who can complain about vegan Chinese food? I can not, as it is challenging to find and is one of my favorite cuisines. “Affordable Affairs came highly recommended to me from a venue, the Bernardo Heights Community Center. They had just recently used their services for their Christmas party. I was having my father’s Celebration of Life and needed a catering company. I was then given David’s card. I called him and received a response in a timely manner. After we briefly discussed what I needed he sent a recommended menu and an estimate. We liked the menu he sent over but also made a few small changes. David was very accommodating and easy to work with. His prices were fair and reasonable. The service and food were outstanding just as the Community Center had said, and I highly recommend this catering company!!“

“Olga’s food place had the best lumpia’s in town. I placed our order in right when they opened at 10am and they were able to have 100 pieces ready for me to pick up at 3pm! I really like that if you call them and they don’t pick up, they will text you later on and you can place your order and pick up time via text message.

“Vendors, caterers, please please please listen to your clients, no matter how unusual their requests may be lol. I had a 90s themed birthday party for my 40th and wanted to be as on-brand as I could, and for me, that meant cafeteria food! lmao. I don't know how many caterers I reached out to and explained this to only for them to try to sell me tacos, tell me it was "too many options," or try to upsell me on hand-passed appetizers and food that was just not what I had envisioned. Originally, Luis had sent me a draft menu consisting of sandwiches and chips. Close but not quite there. After perusing their menus on their website I realized what I had wanted was all basically food from their kids menu! I reached out and let Luis know, almost expecting to be told they would not cater kids food for adults, but nope! Luis was more than accommodating and worked with me to curate a menu exactly as I had wanted it, down to the cafeteria trays and ice cream cups. I cannot thank Luis and his team enough for bringing my vision to life and not looking down their noses at it! Not only that, but everything was so flavorful. I had intended to bring home whatever leftovers there were so I could scarf down all the chicken tendies I could at 3 am lol, but my guests beat me to it! Everyone kept talking about the seasonings used and how tasty everything was. And I'm talking sliders, empanadas (think calzones), chicken tenders, fries, mash, and veggies! Thank you Eleazar Catering for helping make my party so epic! Cannot wait to work with you again in the future!“

“Sean and his team are truly amazing! We hired them for our rehearsal dinner which took place at my grandparents house. They were able to pull up right in the driveway and guests meandered between the backyard and driveway to grab slices as they wished. I am personally vegetarian and my favorite was the pesto vegetarian pizza. It was so light and delicious! Everyone had great things to say about the honey jalepeno, and even the gluten free guests had great reviews. It felt like Sean was the host of the party, you can tell he truly loves his job and loves talking to people. They set up and cleaned up so quickly I hardly even knew where they arrived/left, it was like magic whisked them away. They made so much pizza most of us took some home afterwards. “They catered our wedding at The Secret Garden at Rancho Santa Fe and they were amazing! Communication with Christine was always very clear and she always responded very quickly. We were so happy that their team made sure that we were able to eat all of the food because it was all so good! They set aside plated appetizers and served us a plated dinner. We did buffet style and everything went so smoothly. We also got to bring some extras home which was a nice touch.
