“First made the drive down to Blue Poke for a Yelp event, but came back a few times when I found myself in the area. There are a few other blue pokes that have since opened closer to central San Diego with one in North Park, but I think the quality varies from location to location- this location in National City being the best! First of all, the design of the store is so fun and I could tell it was clean and well maintained. I had a delicious poke bowl with my favorite spicy ahi (minced style). They have a good number of toppings to choose from along with great sauces. This is what I like to call "chipotle style" poke where you build your bowl, but everything was good! Easy parking to grab your bowl for take-out!“

The workers found out it was my mom's birthday so they surprised us and gave her a free muffin, decorated the plate with chocolate, and sang her happy birthday! The staff were very welcoming and attentive, especially Ale! Our food and drinks were prepared in a timely manner. This was my second time coming here and my friends and I always enjoy the food and drinks. My favorite smoothie so far is the energy boost with extra protein! The place itself was very clean and able to accommodate all 6 of us! The workers were more than willing to move the tables to ensure that we all sat together.
