“Atmosphere, good drinks (yes plural) and pleasant accommodating wait staff is what makes Posada one of my favorite high-end places to eat. The phenomenal sauces combined with items cooked perfectly make this one of (if not THE) best restaurant in Livermore. Latin meals are their wheel-house; no doubt, Full-stop. With that said, what’s not in their wheel-house are steaks. Don’t get me wrong here, preparation was unparalleled, quality of the meat was another. Quite sub-par for the price. Over all thought, a terrific place to go.“

Been there couple of times and it always a pleasant experience.

First & foremost the best part of this place is the love, politeness and hospitality. The staff is lovely. It feels like home. They feed you like you are at home.

It’s a very basic hole in the wall, mom n pop restaurant. The bright vibrant yellow color of this places makes it stand out.

They have a good extensive menu of all the essential Mexican food.

The portion sizes are HUGE so order accordingly.

We have tried, burritos, taco’s, quesadillas etc, everything was delicious.

The salsa bar is also yummylicious. They have fresh nachos, nice n warm.

The carne asada enchiladas were delicious & flavorful.

Forgot the name of the fish dish, that was a heck of dish. The fish was cooked to perfection.

The shrimp plate was yummy

Difficult to say which one was my favorite. I love everything here which I tried.

They have decent size indoor and outdoor space.

The service is quick n efficient

“Super friendly workers. Small selection of fresh vegetables but they have the staples. The poblano peppers looked old and wrinkly. Limes were dry. Marinated pork, beef and chicken are tasty and chopped up and ready to cook. Although the last batch of chicken smelled spoiled after we got it home so we didn't cook it.“

Perhaps my standards are too low, but I just expect safe food, from non-rude employees, in a reasonable amount of time. Some people seem to have complaints that are expecting a bit much of fast food. “Ive been jere several times. They serve solid mexican/mexican-american food. Their moles and red enchilada sauce are consistently really good. On the weekends they normally serve pazole and menudo too which is nice

Parking: Parking can be tough but there is free public parking all over livermore. You may have a 3 minute walk from your car to the restaurant“

“Breakfast burritos are unmatched for the vicinity. Otherwise, maybe Chick-fil-A breakfast burritos as second best option off the N Livermore exit from 580.

What online and the menu does not show for Taqueria Consuelo’s breakfast burrito is that they have all the meat options, not just ham or chorizo. I’ve had the carne asada (steak) burrito two times now, and it’s a choice move. I’ve also tried the ham and chorizo and felt they were good, just not as good as the carne asada in the breakfast burrito. But I am also biased against ham and chorizo, even though I’m also open to trying ham and chorizo just in case a food item from a restaurant changes my mind :)

Eat the whole burrito only if you want to have a mid-morning nap. Otherwise, that is two meals for one slim/average-sized person.

Atmosphere: no other customer has been there when I’ve been there, so I consider it a secret breakfast burrito place/hole-in-the-wall. No one dining in either. Ain’t got time for that. But I got time for breakfast burritos and making these gd reviews. Plenty of parking first thing in the morning.“
